### "I cannot imagine using anything other than Netlify"

May 6, 2020

5.0

With the right development flow, Netlify, along with its CMS, can allow you to go from blank page to a fully editable site in a matter of minutes

Pros

Netlify is honestly one of the best services I have ever used. It actually makes developing static sites an enjoyable experience. Automatic deploys, SSL, A/B tests, form handling, preview deploys, analytics, to name just a few of the features that I now take for granted

Cons

I suppose if you have a large team who need to access sites, or sites which have a very high bandwidth usage, the service could get costly, but the free tier is quite generous, and I have never needed to go into the paid tier. If this was ever needed, I would gladly do so

### "Incredible Solution for hosting Gatsby Built Static Sites"

May 2, 2019

5.0

Pros

Netlify makes connecting the REST API for Wordpress to GatsbyJs stupid simple. It took me a matter of minutes to import my project from BitBucket and then add a webhook that would update the repository anytime a Wordpress post was updated. This relationship between these three technologies (Netlify, Gatsby, and Wordpress) is the golden trio that allows for our customers to use the familiar Wordpress backend to manage their posts and pages while not relying on an outdated technology for the front-end framework of their site.

Cons

The one negative I found was the pricing structure they had for simple integrations like contact forms. In my opinion, the pricing is unrealistic to charge for a simple service like email notifications or slack notifications.

### "Good tool for Web Developers"

March 30, 2022

4.0

Netlify is a solid platform for static sites and frontend frameworks.

Pros

\- Easy to set up - Neat user interface - Free Netlify domain - Debugging logs - Custom domains - Github integration

Cons

If they removed the bandwidth limit(100GB per month), time limit(300 minutes) on uploads and made deployment faster, Netlify would be much better.

### "La gran alternativa al Hosting tradicional"

December 2, 2020

5.0

Gran velocidad, mínima inversión de recursos. Estabilidad y confiabilidad.

Pros

### "Amazing hosting tools for developers! "

May 14, 2022

5.0

Pros

I love the easy deployment, the fact that I can also purchase and secure a domain with Netlify! The form feature is also amazing, being able to easily receive inputs from my website with less lines of codes is just brilliant.

Cons

I feel Netlify would be a whole amazing if it became possible to host servers, at least NodeJs.

### "Genius, easy to use, smooth all around experience "

July 20, 2018

5.0

Huge time saver in deploying (and being forced to learn how to construct!) static sites. It's set off a love affair in how to implement this technology in my consulting business with clients who definitely need things to be low maintenance.

Pros

The features available fully for even the free tier of their services are phenomenal. And the pricing for the pro features is SO reasonable, especially compared to traditional hosting (I use for headless CMS deployment and for testing purposes). Also, I appreciate that the language they use is plain English and can really be understood by even the newest noobs.

Cons

I hate to even put anything for cons because the offering is so great. If I HAD to pick something, I would say have everything be free (including all pro features). That said, that's not necessarily a realistic expectation on my part, just wishful thinking. Honestly I wish I would've known about them sooner. Much cheaper and easier to use for a noob than for example Heroku which is still rad, just higher level of difficulty.

### "Ridiculous Simplicity"

September 10, 2019

5.0

Netlify has been a revelation for me, gone are the days of trying to figure out how to set up SSL or how to configure my domain, it has taken all the pain of deploying static sites.

Pros

\- Simple to use and get started - Have a generous free tier - Automatic deploys and builds from GitHub - Free SSL certificates - how cool is that! - Ability to add your own custom domain

Cons

\- Nothing, there is nothing I don't like about Netlify, the ease of use and functionality together make it the best platform to run static sites.

### "Fantastic hosting and serverless platform"

May 8, 2019

5.0

The workflow is very smooth, straightforward, and robust. The integration of Netlify with other services is excellent. It's enabled me to take my basic web development skills to the next level.

Pros

As a novice web developer (I built and maintain my own site) Netlify has made the complex things a joy to breeze through. Since my technical skills are limited, Netlify steps in and takes care of the nitty gritty. Hosting is just the beginning, they have serverless and forms and many other a la carte services. It's super scalable. I've had my own site running flawlessly on Netlify for about a year now.

Cons

Nothing major so far, I have light traffic so I'm not sure how the fees and stability is at bigger scale.

### "Netlify allows you to build, version and deploy your website within the same tool. "

April 29, 2019

4.0

Netlify allows you to build, version and deploy your website within the same tool. The learning curve is reduced because you're using tools that as a web developer you already know. That's also why the documentation is simple and to the point since it is only guiding you to learn this specific tool.

Pros

Netlify allows you to connect with existing services such as Github, also it offers a free tier for small business and/or personal projects. Their documentation is very concise and yet covers everything you need to know to launch using Netlify. It also has an uncommon service to host media files directly on your Git repository using Git LFS, when typically other services send you to host somewhere else.

Cons

Probably that it's difficult to make a parallel comparison with creating your site without the aid of this software.

### "Netlify + Gatsby = Match made in heaven"

August 29, 2019

5.0

Without a doubt the easiest CD system I've used. It was almost plug and play.

Pros

Netlify is super easy to setup, extremely powerful, and takes a lot of the setup work out of developing and deploying your app/site. It integrates very nicely with Gatsby.js and is probably the easiest system I've used for deployments.

Cons

Though it is very easy, some of the settings are a bit confusing, especially regarding Github integration and Auth.

Pros

Setting it up is super easy and you can get your frontend website running within half an hour. It integrate with git workflow flawlessly and it automatically deploys newest changes really quick.

### "This is how hosting should be"

The interface is very fast and intuitive, it's almost laughable effortless to set up a build chain compiling from a git branch and configure a custom domain. Take note hosting giants.

Cons

### "Netlify: Not a beginner tool"

February 7, 2022

Pros

Netlify was very cheap and easy to follow for basic design of website.

Cons

There are many cons as this is not a beginner friendly platform for a website. You must know how to code and integrate the features on the website.

### "Netlify is now my go-to solution for hosting static sites"

September 21, 2018

5.0

I use Netlify for static site hosting over other platforms because the continuous deployment is simple to set up and works great.

Pros

The main thing I love about Netlify is the easy to use continuous deployment from a Github or Gitlab repository. This alone makes it my go-to for static site hosting now. It also has a great free-tier that is great for developing sites and for anyone learning web development.

Cons

I have yet to run into anything that really detracts from using it. The cost of using lambda functions might add up eventually but I haven't had that issue yet.

### "Incredible value and ease of use"

December 5, 2019

5.0

I am pleased with the service that this platform provides, there have been times where it took me some time to get around it well, but overall it has saved me more time than it has cost me.

Pros

The platform facilitates and speeds up hosting to an unbelievable degree, with great support for any advanced features you could need.

Cons

For more intricate projects and requirements, such as serverless applications, the platform requires a more in-depth understanding of particular concepts which could be better explained in the official documentation.

### "Easy and Free Static Hosting"

July 23, 2021

I enjoy using Netlify. Their service is very good. I haven't faced any technical difficulties.

Pros

Netlify is very user-friendly. Websites are automatically deployed from our GitHub repo. We can build our apps quickly and easily. We can use our custom domain with free SSL. The CDN is good and the website load time is short.

Cons

The only disadvantage is that the free version only allows one team member.

### "Netlify is actually good"

July 29, 2021

4.0

of all hosting platforms I have used, Netlify is by far the easiest.

Pros

very easy to set up. option of just dragging and dropping your files is great too. the continuous integration with GitHub is also super great.

Cons

it doesn't provide SSL certificates. if you're trying to use a ".dev" custom domain, netlify didn't work for me on that.

My overall experience has been great and I still use it to run my simpler personal projects in order to test how they work and look in the real world.

Pros

Cons
