The platform is easy to use, reliable, and offers all the tools we need for our email marketing campaigns. What has stood out most is the quality and responsiveness of the customer support. When we experienced an email delivery issue related to a shared sending IP, the support team reacted quickly, explained the problem clearly, and moved us to a high-reputation IP at no additional cost. Their professionalism and willingness to help have given us confidence in continuing to use Mailrelay. Pros What I liked most about Mailrelay was the excellent and fast customer support. They quickly identified an issue with the shared sending IP, explained the situation clearly, and moved our account to a high-reputation IP at no additional cost. Their technical assistance was professional, efficient, and very helpful. Cons The main issue we experienced was related to the reputation of the shared sending IP, which caused some emails to be rejected by recipient servers and generated a significant number of soft bounces. I had all my websites and projects there and was desperate to find a proper platform that suits my needs (both for small projects with free subs and for bigger ones with paid but more balanced plans). Mailrelay was the perfect match to be honest. In the past year that I have been using them the deliverability, tracking and features have been really superb. Pros Great technology, user interface, features (they keep adding new ones every week!), amazing balance between quality/price, with proper options for free users but great incentives to move to a paid/prepaid plans. I have been using other email platforms for many years and this is by far the best one. Cons The only cons is not being aware of their existence before. With so much noise in social media and websites it was difficult to discover them. But I'm glad I finally made it. This is the main reason why I would recommend Mailrelay. Pros Mailrelay's free tier is so high, that it's likely that you won't paid for the service until you really grow up - and even then, its pricing is really cheap. Also, it has a ton of learning material and their support service is helpful. Watch out for their blog and their onboarding emails, they deliver a lot of useful tips and tricks. What I like the most about their blog, is that they don't only focus on giving advice on email marketing topics, they also cover digital marketing in general. Speaking more about the app, I think it's important to remark an interesting technology that they have: some time ago, they implemented "Smart Delivery", a feature that sends the emails first to the most active customers, making sure that your IP reputation is the highest possible. Cons Features and design-wise, their competitors are far more advanced. It's UI/UX is really old, and makes navigation a bit hard. And the automation features are quite limited compared on other big players on the market. But I have heard that they are working on this, so we probably will have more advanced marketing features soon. So far, this program meets our modest requirements well – once a month we send out a newsletter to our mailing list members (a short information about upcoming events, when and what is planned). We find Mailrelay's ability to add links to a specific section of our website (tour descriptions, calendar, or ticket purchase) very useful. Cons The issue we had to deal with – writing dates in the text – when publishing Mailrelay turns this "number row" into an active link. That's why we write the names of the months in words. Cons UX and user interface are poorly designed and difficult to use. Also our spam ratio grew a bit when using the service. The software appears to have been developed with thoughtful consideration of security features and resource demands. It's light weight and quite flexible in deployment options. Creating an email marketing template with Mailrelay is fairly easy. Mailrelay uses a WYSIWYG template to create newsletters. The actual newsletter is created in an HTML editor. You can either use an existing template or create a new one, using custom HTML code. Pros Great and helpful software. I will recommend it to my colleagues sysadmins. Great solution if you have a huge amount of SMTP requests from different servers and pcs in your company to the same SMTP server on the web. Very easy to configure, so useful, nice application! Emails sent through this tool do not carry any advertising either in the footer or anywhere else. Cons To be able to subscribe to this service you will require a corporate email account. You can not use free email services such as gmail or yahoo to subscribe. When I subscribed, the confirmation email took a while to arrive, however, apart from that the service works very well.
