I know we're only scratching the surface of the tool, and it's purely a lack of manpower in our department to blame. The tool itself if incredibly helpful and user friendly. Pros The customer service is excellent, they are continually developing and refining their product offering, the insight emails are super helpful, and the Chrome plugin is useful for a quick analysis of sites. Pros I've used two other premium versions of SEO software and I can't find anything that I prefer on this one. It's over-rated. Cons Convoluted and not intuitive to navigate. Does not offer mobile data for my country. Does not provide domain authority scores. Does not not provide an in-depth backlink gap analysis. Have to keep inputting competitors for the different sections - why can't it just retain the information once off and use the same for each project? Also, every time I had the slightest issue and I had contacted the customer support, there were very patient and nice to help me understand what was going on or how could I achieve what I wanted to do. From a UX point of view, the interface is very user-friendly and nice to use. You have a general overview of your website's situation and then you can dig deeper into what matters to you. What I also like is that they keep a history of what has happened on the pages so that you can go back in time and assess the improvements made on a specific page or understand when and why a page started to derail. Cons I don't feel really concerned by this section since the team was always willing to help me master Content King and was always very interested in having feedbacks to keep improving the software. Lately, for instance, they released a new function giving you the opportunity to connect your Content King account to your Search Console account to always have a better insight of what's going on with your website. The comprehensive view of what's going on with my clients' site coupled with the ability to get dig down into the details is awesome! I'm also a huge fan of the change history, tracking every change that happens on ever page of your site. I'm not aware of any other tool that does this. Cons There's only two things missing from this platform, link tracking and rank tracking. These are the only features that other platforms have that ContentKing doesn't. Review Source AH Anne H. For example, if I made some critical error, I know ContentKing will send me an alert. The dashboard is also good for seeing overall trends. Pros I often need to go back and see what I changed on a page. The app has a feature called "Tracked Changes" that provides a timeline of important changes such as title, headings, trackers, and meta descriptions. While it doesn't cover all content changes, it's the right amount. Cons The program is excellent about sending alerts and then a note when they are fixed. However, I do get alerts about broken links and then, shortly after, a note about them being fixed. I also wish the alert gave more context, such as whether it was an internal or external link. Pros Searchmetrics visibility index is the most accurate index to analyze visibilities of websites in the search index. Their massive amount of data is what makes Searchmetrics the most unique tool out there. Cons Searchmetrics made the move from "just" being an SEO company to provide a content marketing platform.
