Vendor Response By Backblaze on March 18, 2024 It can be quite annoying when one has to repush... although it can happen when 3rd party software impedes our "inherit backup state" feature. As for Synology support, Backblaze integrates with both Synology Hyper Backup and Cloud Sync. Using Synology Hyper Backup, you can back up your workstations to your NAS and Backblaze B2. With Cloud Sync you can replicate your data to Backblaze B2 and other locations. For more information please visit https://www.backblaze.com/cloud-storage/integrations/synology In regards to performance, we have achieved upload speeds 10-30% faster than AWS S3 for small file uploads (1MB or less, which makes up 70% of all uploads to B2 Cloud Storage and are common for backup and archive workflows) all without any change to durability, availability, or pricing. " **Overall:** I am just plain happy. My intention is to renew again and again my yearly subscription with them. The reason I started using this software is that The New York Times uses it as well. If they use it, the software must be fantastic! **Pros:** Ease of use. Security. Peace of mind. Everything works in the background. I don't even need to update the software because it does it automatically. **Cons:** I cannot think of anything. They send a regular newsletter, and many of the articles they send are too tricky for me to understand. Maybe if they wrote some of those articles in a more user-friendly language for people like me who are ignorant about IT.
