### "Love how organized TADS keeps our schools enrollment process"

We use TADS for admissions, enrollment and tuition assistance management. There are a few things I wish could be more connected between the separate parts of TADS, but overall it is an amazing management tool which keeps the different aspects of enrollment and financial aid organized and accessible. We love all it's reporting capabilities and the TADS staff are all incredibly responsive and helpful. We love working with them and having them be an off site part of our Admin team.

Cons

The fact that TADS can not migrate certain data from one part of TADS to another. Example: when families apply for admission to our school and apply for Financial Aid, the "Grades" in these two area do not match up. We are a Pre-school. The "Grades" on the FA application are Pre-k - 12th. These do not line up with our population. The "Grades" in the admissions application are based on schedule choices and age. Since the Tuition costs in the TADS Financial Aids area are pulled automatically from the FA application and not the admissions application the Tuition is cost is always incorrect and thus the awards suggested are also always incorrect. How we deal with this is to manually enter all the Tuition rate data by hand, by looking at each family's Admissions application to see which schedule they chose and what age their child is.

### "Managing School Information Made Easy by This Terrific Tool"

Ability to manage system in a very productive way. Managing payments, tuition etc in a few easy steps.

Pros

I can call this a great tool as it helps managing school information for each specific student including, payment for tuition, field trips and basically anything. It is simple and easy to use and also there is a possibility of linking this software to other management software and making it even more powerful. I definitely recommend this system since it was very well designed to supply most of your needs!

Cons

Even though it does a great job, I still think this software needs improvements. Even though we all learned to make our way around, we still believe that the payment system could be a little simpler and effective. Also there are some times that we find the system to take a while to process new information. Overall, I think it's a great tool.

NOT GOOD. They were not receptive to customer issues or complaints and would fight families who asked for fee removal.

Pros

Very little. They were NEVER user friendly and always required follow up with my school

Cons

HORRIBLE customer service which got worse when their call center was switched out of the United States.

Pros

Admissions & Financial Aid, ease of use, all my needs in one place, report capabilities. I like how powerful the reports are in the admissions module.

Cons

tuition agreement - would LOVE to be able to create a report of families who signed tuition agreement by grade. Currently, in agreements, we can create a report that of students by grade but that includes all families regardless of their tuition agreement status. It would be great to have a report that allows us to see by grade the families who have a tuition agreement status of "setup". Also in the billing module, I wish I had a report that showed me an entire year's worth of pending payments and remissions.

Pros

TADS is an absolute ripoff and it discouraged me from wanted to be part of the school using it

Cons

TADS makes me want to change school, they're a ripoff and that's why they put schools on a.multi-year contract!They take money out of tuition for made up late fees, so fees pile up while you're unaware

Pros

From the parents' standpoint, it's easy to navigate. Price is reasonable. You get what you pay for. The system is not perfect. See Cons.

Cons

The cost is not astronomical but for this new school year, they have increased the rates. As an administrator, is not so flexible to use. The reporting is very rigid. There is no way to download the data without the canned reports.

My son’s school uses TADs billing and their processing fees are ridiculous and late fees are predatory. We struggle financially often and TADs charges a $50 late fee in addition to a stop payment fee after they failed to take our payment within their policy timeline. I’m disgusted by any company that charges absorbent fees to people falling on financial hardships. We have paid in full every month but have been a week or so late and charged $50 fees each time plus the $5 administrative fees they charge for processing payments online. If I had a choice, I would stop all business with TADs but this is the 3rd party billing our child’s school chose.

Pros

I don’t see any pros in a company that charges ridiculous late fees to parents who made late payments due to financial hardships.

Cons

TADs fees are ridiculous. They charge a $5 administrative fee every time we submit an online payment and a $50 late fee plus an additional $50 stop payment fee for insufficient funds. Clearly TADs has no compassion for people struggling with financial hardships.

### "Parent forced to use TADS pathetic service Which school would change providers"

I've used them for two children for about eight years. All was good until about two years ago. They must have fired all but three customer service reps as it's been average 35 min wait times for over two years. I've told our private school to replace them, as this is not working. I'm so thankful it's my last year to have to deal with TADS. If I had another year I'd refuse to deal with TADS and would hand deliver my tuition. I cannot get back the tens of hours I've lost on hold to this pathetic service provider.

Pros

I don't understand how this company is in business. COVID had nothing to do with their problems they went to hell about two years ago. I've used for about eight years and use to be fine. I've been on hold today for over 48 min, on Friday it was 36 min.

Cons

ZERO customer service on average over 35 min wait times for questions.

Pros

very easy to navigate. pulling reports and great customer service. I use the agreement and billing section more then the admission. I also work with the Financial Aid part. I find it very easy to use.

Cons

parents do have difficulty with it. We get many calls from parents asking for our help. I think this is because parents only use Tads (to enroll) one time per year and they forget how to use the program when they need to go back in the following year or when making any changes.

End users tend to find it pretty intuitive to use, which in turn means few of them need help understanding how to use it.

Cons

It took a while to get up and running, but that might just be attributable to the learning curve in switching from the previous system used.

Enrollment numbers are real time and allows users to sort families who are pending quickly for follow-up.

Cons

It would be helpful to have have a comment section for follow-up calls to pending parents or a space to indicate date of follow-up.

It saves a huge amount of time for our accountant. It also allows parents to review their tuition accounts whenever they wish. We are able to customize it for parents however it is needed for them.

Cons

There are some reports that I would like at my fingertips that are not readily available. I can usually get the information I need, however.

Helping get the tuition paid on time with families has been a great help with this program. Billing is done and a reminder to parents is great. Records kept up to date with the software instead of me or the office keeping the accounts.

Cons

Not being able to open up all parts of the software sometimes have to get your company to enable it.

It would be nice to have your email pinged on any outstanding Applications as far as not finishing the Registration Process; paying the fee; contacting the school for an appointment.

Pros

TADS software is easy to navigate from the admin and the parent portal. The software allows for parents and admins of any knowledge base to easily access anything tuition related!

Very limited, we cannot get our ID numbers onto the system, reports are difficult to use, requires clicking through many screens to apply payments, or change information, inflexible system.

Makes re-enrollment season much easier in my office and reduces workload allowing us to focus on other topics.

Pros

Easy for parents. Great way to keep track of who has completed, not completed, etc. Minimizes work for my office and helps keep overhead costs lower.

Cons

The split between re-enrollment and the tuition agreement. This is ONE process but TADS splits it into two. Even though we are streamlined it is not always easy or apparent for families when completing.

Pros

What I like most honestly is the incredibly excellent customer service. Also, it reduces the amount of admin work in our small school office.

Cons

Often there are problems like students have to file multiple tuition agreements. Also, it's not possible to go back and change things in an in-progress application.

Cons

I have no issues with this software. Could be good to have more flexibility with creating questions that a re different for each grade level.
