Pros: shopVox is a powerful, complete business management system. It really gives small business owners like me all the advantages of the management systems big businesses have access to. The comprehensiveness of the system is remarkable.
I think the organisation it imposes on a business would assist any small business improve its efficiency and productivity.
The business intelligence dashboards are excellent and give a daily snapshot of where the business is.
ShopVox gives us control over our processes and communication; this has been a real benefit in the day to day running of our business and has noticeably reduced stress. In fact we are now able to handle more work with less people and know where everything is and at what stage of production. This is something we struggled to do without ShopVox.
We have gone to an almost paperless workplace thanks to the facility of being able to display the job board both in the office and in the factory. No more missing pieces of paper!
It has been a surprise to us how much we like being in the cloud! I am able to go home and have dinner with the family and log into the system from home if I need to catch up on any matter.
Support via Chat is good.
shopVox is improving the program regularly and systematically so it is getting better all the time.

Cons: Along with comprehensiveness of the program comes a steep learning curve.
Unfortunately, the training material is not up to the standard it should be. In my opinion the current training material needs to be re written by a professional training-manual writer. And while videos are good at giving a snapshot of a process they are limited as a training tool as they are unsearchable.
There is no readily accessible Definitions Table of the terms used (that I know of). This is particularly important for users in other countries like I am as the meaning of some everyday terms in the USA can have a different meaning in other places.
Because of the poor training material some users may be put off by the necessary steep learning curve which would be a shame given the power of shopVox.

Overall a great product with the exception of Management Reporting which leaves much to be desired.

Pros: * Relatively easy to setup and configure
* Powerful pricing and product development engine
* Quoting is straight forward and easy and consistent providing you have set up pricing/products properly
* Good customer support (would be excellent if it were 24/7 instead of 8/5). That being said, when I was having issues configuring the pricing module, my incident was rapidly escalated to the point where the owner (and I suspect chief software engineer) of shopVox called me personally and resolved my issue.

Cons: * shopVox provides 55 reports at the time of this writing, all of which are marginally useful on their own as there is no data aggregation
* shopVox reporting fails to provide a holistic view of an organization's Key Performance Indicators in a single Dashboard. The Business Intelligence screen is useful for the data it provides but it is not a true Dashboard.
* On the plus side, all of the data necessary to provide holistic reporting resides within and is easily extracted from shopVox via Excel downloads. Once the data has been downloaded you have to manually aggregate it to provide useful Management Reporting which is very time consuming and error prone.
* In order to resolve the shopVox reporting issues I resorted to writing my own Information Management and Reporting System (IMRS) which runs against the downloaded shopVox data mentioned above. The next evolution will be to replace the manual Excel data download process by incorporating shopVox API calls and running our IMRS directly against the shopVox data. That will be an entirely other review:)

Pros: Prior to finding ShopVOX, we were spread across two different platforms for our sales and shop operations. ShopVOX has enabled us to eliminate both and now we can use one software to manage our workflow, track the sales activities that lead to new jobs, and also use solid costing on our quotes to ensure that we're making money with these sales.

Best features:
Multiple views and options for scheduling jobs.

Pricing templates can handle all aspects of simple to complex jobs, even for a CUSTOM sign shop.

Syncs to QuickBooks for accounting.

This is an emerging product with a great development team. If a feature you've though of isn't there, wait a few weeks! This isn't SAP or ORACLE you're dealing with here. They're nimble and responsive to client requests and needs.

Cloud based and mobile device friendly.

The PRICE! For the money, you won't find better value.

Cons: As I mentioned in the "Pros" above, this is an emerging product. This leads to my only real "Cons". From time to time, as new features are rolled out, there may be mis-steps. If you are not OK with change, you may want to wait a bit before signing on. New features and modifications to old features are rolled out VERY regularly.

As they say though, "you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette".

Overall: An all-in-one software for managing all aspects of our business that's easy to use for all levels of staff.

Pros: I can't think of much. Truly, nothing good about it at all for our business. Perhaps this would work well for a small business with only a handful of products.

Cons: We've been using ShopVox for over 2 years now so we have a lot of (terrible) experience with this product. We have had nothing but trouble since using this program. It is not easy, it doesn't flow well, it doesn't make sense. They create problems and then make the fix a paid "feature." For example suddenly everything runs together even when you type it out in nice paragraphs. In order to not have this happen they say you must pay for this "feature." Unbelievable. The communication is horrible, not only language but just general understanding. They blame things constantly on a local server then will report an outage weeks later. It takes them months to fix seemingly simple things. When features they have don't work, they just say not to use it. Worst service I've ever had with any type of software. They corner you into using it since all your data is now in their "cloud" and who wants to start over with another software program yet again. We can't even build pricing, it simply doesn't work. It doesn't connect well with quickbooks, I can go on and on, it causes us more work than if we were to write this out by hand. WE have to manually price out everything because we're unable to successfully build pricing forms.

Pros: The platform is extremely flexible the way it has been setup. We have been using this type of software for many years and have always had to create "work arounds" to get as close to our desired results as possible. But whats so amazing with sV is the technical support. We have never in ten years experienced the quality and expertise of this group of people. They will sit with you and work through tough issues. Last week I had a problem the first tier tech was unable to fix after many attempts to trouble shoot. He made a quick decision to bump it to the next tier engineer and within 10 minutes my problem was program corrected. It has been such a great experience to be with a company like sV that truly understands our business model and works creatively with its clients to improve the effectiveness of the software and support service.

Cons: That I have to actually think about what I put in as data............ So I came up short on the minimum words here. The reason we don't have a "least" is that this company also has set up a working resolution forum to understand any and all problems, questions specific requests for new capabilities and informs on an hourly basis any new updates to the platform. They also provide a very good business basics learning series that is well done.

Pros: We are a small business manufacturing and installing signs in Berkshire. ShopVOX is exactly what we need for our business.

ShopVOX allows us to log and track all our customer interactions, manage their accounts and manage our internal workflows to ensure signage is manufactured and delivered on time and on spec.

Our busy team are able to quickly and easily log sales leads, create and revise quotes, convert approved quotes to sales orders, create production workflows and raise sales invoices. Invoices can be exported from ShopVOX into our accounts at the click of a button.

The team at ShopVOX are very helpful and the most impressive and valuable asset this company has is their ability to listen to customers and upgrade their software quickly to suit customers ever-changing needs. There have been numerous occasions when we have suggested a improvement and we've seen it go live within weeks.

Keep up the good work ShopVOX!

Cons: Nothing at present, and whatever we don't like about the software is usually changed within weeks when we put a reasonable case to ShopVOX.

Pros: I love how easy it was to get up and running, the software is very fluid, it is PCI complient. No setup fee. The customer portal gives your clients a backend to order products they have ordered in the past. We rolled out our credit card payment email feature this month, and our accounts payable has cut in half.

Cons: It's a monthly subscription, but I think we get what we pay for. I think the monthly subscription gives them a competitive edge, because they are able to pile on new features, and build incredible features... Although they don't have a free trial of the Pro version, I tried it for a month, and I'm so glad I did!

Overall: ShopVOX business software solution includes a host of features specific to screen printing companies, embroidery, printing, and awards. We do primarily awards, but it includes apparel items size matrix, design & production variables (such as ink etc), margin-based price calculating (and several other types of pricing tools), and production tracking very similar to trello. You can print shipping labels, have customers pay from their email, quote just about how ever you want, manage customer proofs, and manage emails all from the same software. It has a great design, and can be as simple or complex as you like. I found them at a tradeshow, and I've looked at some of the most popular solutions out there, and nothing comes quite close to what ShopVOX offers. They have 24/7 support, and they are lead by an incredible leader.

Pros: I struggled with estimates using my previous estimating software, but ShopVOX is so much easier to use. With this software I spend less time quoting job, leaving me more time for other tasks. There was a large database to begin with which I could fine tune to my needs. I love that I can access the software anywhere on any device. Customer support is outstanding and the company often updates the software, while listening to customer requests. It's also affordable and yet so powerful.

Cons: Though there is opportunity to customize many areas in this software, I wish we had the ability to customize the quote and invoice forms a little more.

Overall: More confidence quoting jobs.

Pros: We were a SignVOX user for years and had to move to another platform for business reasons. Up until then, customer service was ok. We accepted the option to stay on SV rather than transition to ShopVx, since it was adequate for our needs. Chat support good.

Cons: Customer service beyond chatting was always very weak. We asked for our historical data for a seamless transfer, TV personnel said they never provided that to anyone, that it wasn't an available service. I showed them an email string from a business partner's organization, including the provision of exactly what data I requested, and TechVx stopped answering my email requests. But when I canceled my subscription, they emailed me a confirmation within 10 minutes. BTW, I was very professional in my requests. These people ruined an otherwise decent experience over several years. STEER CLEAR OF TECHVOX PRODUCTS IF YOU EVER WANT TO DISENGAGE!!!

The software works well, has few issues and does what we need it to do.

Pros: The flexibility of the software is incredible. I can customize it to a large degree and it allows me to take very direct control of our processes. It has more features that I have even had time to explore and I know that the more time I invest in learning it the more it will optimize our workflow, pricing, time management, etc.

Cons: The complexity is great, but I feel that we are under utilizing many of the features and not using several others. The training / online resources do not adequately show how to use all of the features in my opinion and are not easy to follow. Also, without paying for advanced setup you are left with a limited capability to use the software until you overcome an incredibly steep learning curve.

It does seem that they have done more training materials / videos than were available when I first signed up and I am hopeful that as I continue to explore them I can implement the unused features in time.

Overall: The software is a great help in running our office, from pricing to workflow management. It is well designed and incredibly helpful.

Easy to use, customizable, great support structure and a must have for any signage or print shop.

Pros: The ability to manipulate the software to do almost anything you want it to do. Creating products is easy, entering materials via the csv upload works seamlessly as it is also easy to update the materials, costs, margins etc

ShopVOX offer a lot of variation options to format and customize your own ShopVOX user experience that suits your own unique business structure.

The user interface (UI) is so easy to navigate and find my way around each and every feature and function of ShopVOX.

The biggest Pro is the support from ShopVOX and the team. It is available around the clock and is endless. All the staff at ShopVOX are VERY knowledgeable, helpful and offer the best and fastest support available.

Cons: Entering data such as customers and vendors can be cumbersome but still works well. System Maintenance scheduled times can be annoying for us users in Australia as the software goes down at our busiest times, but not a big issue considering the number of updates and feature upgrades that ShopVOX constantly do to make the software better every day.

Overall: Automating the quotation process and implementation of a much more easier workflow.

Pros: -how to videos and webinars are extremely helpfull
-customer service is bar none
-able to suggest new features (they actually implement suggestions!!)

Pros: My favorite feature with SHOPVOX is how user friendly it is, navigating is a simple task when you have a customer standing in front of you. Also on an accounting end SHOPVOX is very user friendly when searching for payments. On the production end SHOPVOX makes it very easy to keep track of ALL jobs whether they are in a QUOTE, SALES ORDER or if the job has been invoiced. Something that our department like as well is the roll up feature, it makes it simple for customers to read.

Cons: All in all I have nothing bad to say about the software. The communication with customer service is NOT good at all. You end up having to figure stuff out yourself, Especially when it comes to syncing

Overall: Production wise our company is able to track all jobs

Pros: Controls the process from quoting to invoicing. After setup for example the quoting process is very easy but also very powerful. We have improved throughput in our sign shop and reduced delays, thus improving customer service by a lot.
Customer service is excellent, quick and friendly response time for any question at any time. Great tutorials, instructions etc.
Easy overview of daily work tasks, no more thinking of what to do next. The staff appreciates the more organized way of doing daily business and if a person is off you can easily take up the work they have going. Would recommend this software for any sign shop that has 2 or more employees.

Cons: Setup demands time and effort to work efficiently but that's the case with all systems. Does not work well in Microsoft Edge but other browsers seem fine. Would like the possibility to search by name or text in the app instead of only sales order/invoice number.

Overall: Improved workflow and throughput, reducing delays and delivery times, helping staff to plan their work, getting a more professional attitude towards the business, better customer service

We run our entire operations with ShopVox, from CRM and quoting/billing, to material management.

Pros: User-friendly - its quite intuitive, new employees learn it rather fast
Easy to write quotes and invoices
We can have a full overview of our operation: individual tasks/sales pipelines/quotes and invoices
Flexible to your operation - we can adjust several aspects of the program to our operation, which is a great help

Cons: There are some good tools for reporting, but this would be one area for further development

Overall: I can run my business remotely, from anywhere.
We use to keep an overview on sales pipelines + production flow.
Wouldnt be able to run my business without it

Pros: Unlimited opportunities for growth. The best feature is keeps track of every step of the process for making the sign. As the sign industry is so diversified with so many types of signs, ShopVox has the ability to perform. It does it well. No interruptions. When need support, ShopVox is excellent to work with. Their Chat group is available anytime. It provides all our needs with Quoting, Designing, Manufacturing, Servicing, and Customer service.

Cons: With any new software, setting it up is a challenge. This is like setting up a database management program. It's a different thought process when we setup our products and services.

Overall: Excellent administration tool for the sign shop.

Pros: Intuitive, easy to learn, although workarounds were necessary to discover. Allows price changes on the fly, access to historical info good, but reporting not.

Cons: Limited reporting made the product difficult to provide robust analysis of the business. Worst of all, TechVox staff refused to give us our data. We were forced to a new platform for business reasons, and they claimed they had never provided historical data files. These cannot be run from the reports menu. We have a business partner elsewhere who DID get the info, so I provided that proof (email string) and TechVox personnel then refused to answer my request. But they canceled my subscription within 10 mins. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Pros: Invoicing process a lot easier as all the information is there, we still manually raise invoices in Sage.
Having to store less paperwork and supporting documentation.
Everyone using same software and working the same way.

Cons: Same numbers being used for multiple documents can get confusing when searching.
Due dates changed on Job board do not change on sales orders.

Overall: Makes invoicing process a lot easier as all information is in one place and everyone is using the same system.

We do have the ability to use different numbers for Sales Orders and Invoices - but that's a setting controlled by the admin of your shopVOX account. If you guys would to enable that - just reach out to our Chat Support team. They can enable with approval from your admin. And you're right - if you change the Job due date - it doesn't update the Sales Order. That's because there could be multiple Jobs on the Sales Order that are due at different times. Pros: Before ShopVOX, we had used three different platforms for our sales and shop operations. None of the three had worked seemelessly.

ShopVOX has enabled us to manage our workflow, track the sales activities that lead to new jobs, and also use solid costing on our quotes to ensure that we're pricing correctly and maintaining margin with sales.

Pros: We are able to quote jobs with very accurate cost measurements. We are able to send quotes and invoices to customers very quickly. Accounts receivables are easy to manage and follow up on. Production workflow can be managed very well with this software, down to as much detail as you want.

Cons: Navigating the software sometimes requires too many clicks, too many screens, in particular when quoting. Updates and changes occur to the software often without any notification.

Overall: I am able to quote projects more quickly and accurately. I am also able to follow up on quotes, get customer information quickly. Shopvox is a great tool to keep all information on a project in one place.

Pros: ShopVox has been a wonderful addition to our busy office. We use it to track production and accounting for our medium sized business. We love that it will work on the signs side of our business as well as the textile side. With one click you can see where any job is in the production process. It has allowed our team to stay on top of orders and not miss deadlines...and alerts us early on if there is an issue with a product or production. Their support staff is nothing short of incredible. There is a live chat feature and they are usually quite quick to respond and help...even after hours. If the person you get doesn't know the answer they will find someone that does. They are also constantly improving their product. If there is a feature that you feel needs to be added and you mention it to them they genuinely try to make it happen.

Cons: ShopVox was a little difficult to set up...but it has been very worth the effort that was required.

Pros: We thought we would have a solution that would cover us with every aspect of our business, but we couldn't have a support to get our website connected after 3 years using the software.

Cons: Too complicate to link with our website. My card was expired once and they disconnected us, when we change for the new card, they have kept us offline for 2 x days because no one could connect us straight away. Also, when we left, we told them before they charged our card we were leaving, but anyway we got charged for the following month subscription and the payment has gone and they didn't want to refund us, we still looking to talk with the card company in USA about it.

Pros: We have fewer errors, more consistency in pricing and have freed up so much time we were wasting on repetitive tasks that ShopVox eliminates. I love that anyone can access a client file with ease and know exactly where we are in the process and give the client the information they are looking for. Allows us to provide better service to our customers and eliminates a pile of call backs for our sales staff. The newly added Canadian SanMar and AlphaBroder catalogues are a huge time saver. Very responsive customer service 24/5.

Cons: I think it started as a sign industry software and they are still tweaking it for the apparel decoration industry but I am seeing improvements and upgrades all the time. It is still functional for apparel but the language is geared towards signs.

Overall: Time savings for everything from sales leads, to quoting to production to pick up, better consistency in service, presentation and pricing and fewer human errors as we're only recording the information once.

Pros: ShopVox is constantly updating and adding new features to the software which makes it easier to work with our customers! The software definitely streamlines things on our end, so we can continue giving our customers great service.

Cons: ShopVox has a few bugs now and then where some features are down for a couple hours, but you can instantly report it to their techs using the chat feature and it's usually resolved fairly quickly.

Pros: Its functionality and the features/options available makes it possible to customize the listing of any product. THere is no software similar to it in the industry. Its very flexible.

Pros: The software offers me real time reports when I need to know how much have I sold during the whole year so far, as well as daily sales, open invoices, payments, etc.

Cons: does not have certain capabilities yet, I am sure they will improve it soon, for example, if you have a customer that is a reseller, but begun as a regular customer with regular tax, then sends you a reseller certificate, sometimes, is not possible to just take out the tax, you need to void the invoice and create a new one, even if you have changed the customer details from taxable to non taxable, it is simply not possible just to uncheck the tax. I am pretty sure they will fix that, because in some cases, the software allows it and in some it doesn't.

Pros: It keeps everything nice and organized, and once you get the hang of the software's UI, it becomes easy to not only manage orders I have, but I can also easily see what my coworkers have been working on if I need to pick up a project mid-production for any reason.

Cons: I cannot get a job list of just items I am assigned to work on as a project manager without getting an excel file or pdf that includes all open jobs, so I can't easily populate a to-do list for shop meetings, but while it is a bit of a nuisance, it isn't extremely detrimental.

Pros: Production control and management. Wide range of supported product types, Signs, Banners, Apparel, Promotional, etc.. Customer interactions and cPortal option. Comments: We are a screen print company and are always on the lookout for a phenomenal screen printing management software. We've never been able to find one that meets all of our needs and expectations, but Shopvox came close. And they continue to add features regularly, so we are keeping an eye on them. We are not currently using Shopvox but used them on a trial basis for a couple months to test out whether or not they were the right fit for us and whether we could switch all of our operations over.

What we liked: they're online! It's so convenient to be able to track our production and sales from any computer, anywhere in the world. We've paid thousands to setup intricate in-house servers so that our sales staff can access our system when on the road. But have an online system would be so much easier. Customer service is fantastic, and always available to answer questions or go over training. And their training is fantastic - lots of videos, training classes and manuals are available. Their Job Flows and work board are great and make seeing jobs under way very easy.

Concerns - We had a couple concerns that prevented us from switching to Shopvox completely. They were not completely setup for apparel printers, having first been a sign company. And their Job Flows weren't setup for larger operations with multiple machines. We weren't able to switch or rearrange assigned machines to fine tune our print schedule.

Overall I see a bright future for this company, and as they continue to improve and add features we will be watching and planning for a potential move one day.

Something to consider - the flexibility of their system is not just for screen printers. I've recommended their system to family members who own a wine processing shop and need to track intricate steps of making wine. The Shopvox job flow is great for that type of operation too.

Pros: The setup, while taking some time because it encompasses so much capability, is straight forward. The use of the system, once setup, is very user-friendly, and can manage a business from estimating, invoicing, integration with QuickBooks and collection. It is well thought out based on industry standards. I would recommend this system to any printing, apparel, sign, and direct mail marketing company seeking more control over their operations, cost-control management, and bottom line.

Overall: It is a great estimating systmem and streamlines the management of the business. It did take some time to learn the system but the instructional materials, videos, and one-to-one assistance make it quick and easy to learn the basic. Using it continues to make me more proficient.

Pros: 24/5 troubleshooting and support for myself and all my staff
Sync's directly to QB so we don't have to duplicate entries
We enter order once as a quote and simply convert it from there, Never have to write the same order twice, minimizing human errors.

Cons: No current Canadian supplier catalogues so we have to enter all our pricing information every order.
Having glitches in QB and Email that tech support can't understand or replicate.
It stores a lot of information stored but it can be overwhelming to have it all appear, would be nice to 'hide' lost quotes and completed invoices.
Would like to re-use sales and invoice numbers that are deleted so the sequence is maintained in QB.

Overall: We're still in the implementation stages and there are a few glitches to iron out but it is already saving us time and money.

Pros: We originally only used the software for quoting, which became a work order, which became an invoice. It worked great for that purpose. We've recently started using it to manage our production as well, and is a great tool there as well!

Cons: The system is a LIVE system that is always updating. This can make changes to the scheduling a little slow, as it is updating with every change. The system overall has a slow response time as well (on the production management end), but ShopVox has let us know of their goals and improvements they've made along the way.

Overall: It has helped us to streamline our production and to have accountability to each step along the way. Production efficiency has gone up, and visibility is improving daily.

Pros: organizing jobs by step, there are so many different veiws to set up as, and its easy to switch between them. Uploading and sending proofs is nice and customers can approve or enter changes right through the system, and it will auto move the job fwd or backward right in the system.-in real time!

Cons: There is a steep learning curve, but an awesome support team. They give me tutorials, directions, and have even added features or debugged the code for me upon request.

Right now I have the settings for "thumnail in email " off for the proofs but customers still see it , and reply to email instead of using the buttons. which is annoying because we can 100% trust the system , but the IT team is working on getting the issue fixed , im sure it wont be too long to see a solution.

Overall: Organizing jobs with a team centered focus, sending proofs to customer.

Pros: I love that I can use this from my phone and save photos and emails directly to individual orders. I love that someone is always available if I'm having technical difficulties. They listen to suggestions that we offer to make it an even better website. I love how it makes keeping my jobs and customer organized.

Cons: I can't really think of anything negative. I wish there was more ease to create my own personalized reports, but its great otherwise.

Cons: It's not 100% clear on how to tailor the software to your shop needs. There seems to be features that could benefit our shop but not sure how to make the best use of them.

Overall: Utilizing the job board feature made an immediate improvement on our shop workflow. Within 2 weeks we noticed a significant improvement in our production flow. Helped minimize simple mistakes we made before and gave us a bird's eye view of our projects.
I made the mistake of trying to make shopvox work how our shop did versus making adjustments to our shop to make the most of shopvox. Setting it up took a bit more time than expected and we're still making adjustments as needed. However, it has semi-automated some tasks we used to do manually.
The software has a lot of potential to be THE software of the customization industry. Anxious to see what improvements come in the next year.

Pros: The best support help! One on one phone calls, emails with a real person. If there is a quick question the chat is perfect. Lots of great features. Training videos and details are always available. If you need a walk through they will make a video to help assist you. If you are asking a quick question they take snap shots and send them to you so you can see what is being discribed. Many great features within the set up of this detailed system.

Cons: Some items that we want customized are not an option yet however we really like that ShopVOX takes everyone's wants of the system into account when making regular improvements.

ShopVox has allowed our shop to manage many aspects in one location with quick work flow changes.

Pros: Job information is saved without backing up our servers and can go from design to completion seamlessly with minimal interaction of employees.

Cons: we are still trying to utilize all that it is capable of, but right now, the only downside I have run into is that if our internet goes out, so does the VOX! Can't have everything!

Overall: SignVOX has been one of the best finds since the digital printer! It seamlessly (and paperlessly) takes jobs from design to completion and makes quoting a breeze! Signsmith LOVES it!

Pros: shopVOX has increased our productivity, minimized mistakes, streamlined our quoting and invoicing processes and has greatly reduced our consumption of paper with keeping track of production on a large monitor in the shop. shopVOX has had a positive effect on our bottom line as well as maintained a lower accounts receivable. We could never go back to the days before implementing shopVOX into our business! Also, the customer service has been simply amazing!

Pros: It is MADE for signs, graphics and etc. We never have to worry about if they understand what is going on, because each of them have worked in the industry. If we have an issue they will schedule an online/phone consultation and help walk us through everything.

Cons: Some times the software can be a bit laggy... Training on the software was a bit harder than expected because there really isn't a training manual. I still learn new things the software can do each month.

Overall: This has sped up our entire turn around time and eliminated 75% of our mistakes we had before switching over (from paper order forms)

Overall: Recently switched from signVOX to shopVOX. Feel like I took a step back in time. There are too many windows and too many clicks to accomplish a task. Chat was horrible...Gangadar from Indonesia was rude...through a chat!
When creating a new customer, why should I have to save the information, and then pull customer contact up to add a cell phone or any other additional contact info? Customers are having a difficult time approving proofs. No longer capable of opening a proof and forwarding through regular email. Creating a job is now several windows of nonsense. There is a new window for everything. This new program is extremely time consuming.
*I do not pay the bill so I do not know the overall value of the software. Any amount is too much for this dinosaur.
Truly a step back instead of forward...very disappointed.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take a look back at the signVOX. It seemed to be a much more advanced software version than this.

Pros: ShopVox allows all the staff, in real time, to monitor sales leads and orders, production workflow from design to delivery. Our client's are able to easily communicate with us through online portals. ShopVox has enabled us to have a cohesive efficiency where we used to get bogged down.

Cons: As with any software there is investment required to learn all of the capabilities. There are some "work arounds" we've implemented to make ShopVox more optimal for our company.

Pros: well thought out and coded.... still find a few bugs, but they have mostly been fixed.

Cons: Some of the ease of use features in SignVox don't seem so easy in ShopVox.... mostly the Job Board where we could change status/job easily

Overall: Hello, loving this product. The enhancements over SignVox are wonderful. Still working out bugs as we had SignVox streamlined well for our organization. Job board not quite as easy to use as SignVox, wish Task List just had a summary so more showed up on one screen, still some enhancements I'd like to see but know this ongoing. Your support staff is great... sometime I can stump them though. Glad we switched

Recommendations to other buyers: Keep up the good work.... wish you had some kind of user group or member board for checking with other users. We could use that to improve our procedures and perhaps share some things we've done.

Pros: Almost thinks for you. Very intuitive in function. Crossover from our old system was very easy, and now running reports takes minutes, not hours. Everyone is very happy with the choice.

Pros: organizing jobs, due dates, letting employees know who is doing what. the data base is so nice to have.

Cons: it takes a long time (almost 6 months) to get all the database info imputed into the system (thats working on it 2 or less hours a day) totally worth the time though.

Overall: organize work flow and team members are always up to date with projects.

Pros: We love the fundamental function: It's a centralized system that all employees can contribute to. It streamlines our process from CRM to Production to Invoicing.

Cons: There is no manual.
It takes a long time to really dig in: ie/ Understanding how it works and learning how to make it work for us.
It's a highly customizable program and unfortunately there isn't a manual so I spend a lot of time researching and trouble shooting. That said the customer service team is exceptional and is available via chat but I do find myself asking the same questions repeatedly.

Overall: I can review my teams progress on any job at any time. It's an amazing tool for organizing and planning.

We appreciate how team members can login to see the state of all jobs and quick tech support.

Pros: The features and functionality are awesome. We were able to reduce our working templates from 36 down to 10 that contain virtually everything we do. With drop down menus, required fields, hidden filters and formulas etc. you can totally customize this software to suit your shop. Our sales reps and customer service reps can now, quickly and confidently, produce quotes and sales orders knowing that the right information is in the job, at the right price. Have a problem? No problem, just "chat" with the support staff and they walk you through it right away. That's priceless!

Cons: It's not really fair to call this a "con" but it takes a great deal of work to customize this program before implementing it to your shop and staff. It took weeks to put everything together, building, testing, modifying, and retesting. BUT, that's all in the background and the end user doesn't see the complexity of it, they just end up with a very refined tool.

Pros: Since the new upgrade the speed has been the biggest noticeable change. When dealing with multiple large orders in a day any improvement to speed allows us to get more done. Bottom line.

Pros: ShopVox has all the great features of Signvox but with so much more, it is user friendly and my staff got the hang of the new look in no time at all.
The "Business Intelligence" feature is a great tool to help our sales team stay on top of their game and gives me as owner and instant glimpse of how the business is doing.
Our production team loves the different job board views and find it easy to manage the daily tasks.
We tried another POS system for 6 weeks but absolutely hated it and we are so glad we decided to go with ShopVox.

Cons: Although we can track sales commission in ShopVox it would be great if there was a function where you can record commission paid, this is the only Signvox function we miss.

Overall: Everything Signvox had and much more

Pros: I love that I can pull prices from apparel catalogs and create custom price grids. I've used excel sheet templates to price out items for my screen print/embroidery shop, and shopVox is a million times better. There's also so a lot of customer support and human interaction.

Cons: Setting up your shopVox takes a while so be prepared to invest some time. They do offer additional options to set up your shopVox. I opted to do the initial set up myself.

Pros: Customized workflows was super important to us! We also like the different reporting and customization possible to every individual in our shop. I also really appreciate the chat functionality if/when you have questions about how to do something. The ShopVox team responds quickly and is always willing to walk you through the process.

Cons: We have some minor changes we would like to see. One of those being able to adjust the next contact date. Our understanding is this is being worked on.

Overall: Organizing and keeping track of hundreds of projects in various stages. Customizable workflows that allow us to set up jobs and projects in different ways depending on the scope of work.

Pros: ShopVOX is helping keep our daily jobs recorded in an easy to access web based user interface. We can quickly search for and access finished projects as well as current jobs. It is also assisting us in keeping track of active jobs by means of current & live reporting of work being trafficked through our business.

Cons: The inability to duplicate like-for-like job orders from previous campaigns into new campaigns. For the moment we are able to work around this by simply copying text from a previous job and into a current job. Though this can be a little tedious going back-and-forth between previous and current jobs if there is a lot of different details to copy over.

Started off with the basic version of ShopVox and quickly and happily upgraded to the full version.

Pros: Providing of Customer Proofs, the customer's response is registered in the software. Hold plenty of customer data. We cut down on printing customer info about 75%.

Cons: Steep Learning Curve, but it is probably to be expected. On occasion processing from screen to screen lags in speed, but not a big deal.

I have found the implementation of Shop Vox very easy the support staff are excelent

Pros: Simplicity of getting started with the ability to add additional functions moving forward We are currently not using all the functions but will introduce additional functions as we go

Cons: I find quotations a bit cumbersome as I would like to be able to add an Item to quote and have multiple prices on different quantities instead of having a new line Item for each quantity

Pros: The flexibility of how we can build our company to what we want and how we want it.
The help centre is one of the best features.
The ability to edit things on the fly very easily.

Cons: Would love the Help Centre to be open Sat and Sunday sometimes when building the company info as we can't get time in office hours so we had to work on it over the weekend.
Cannot change or edit the workflow processes on the fly for custom jobs.

Overall: Speed of quoting
Making it easier for other staff to quote jobs.

Pros: If there is ever any issue the shopvox team is always there to help. They are always finding way to make our customer experience better.

Cons: I know there is an android app available but it's basically worthless.

Pros: I like the overhead view of where all of our jobs are in process. ShopVox allows me to see where a job is, who is working on it and if it is on time or if I need to help get it back on track. The work flow view is good for managing multiple jobs in one department.

Cons: We really need better reporting on the Job side and a better view of each department as a single department. Being able to look at Department A and see what their workload is for a given scheduled month would be ideal.

Overall: An overhead view of my shop and the ability to schedule difficult jobs.

Pros: They are constantly upgrading the software with new solutions and features. They listen to customer feedback. Customer support is top-notch, short wait times and problems solved quickly. Easy to use and understand. Customizable without requiring a computer science degree. It connects to other software packages with little issue. Extremely cost-effective.

Cons: I would like to see more development for the mobile market, maybe a dedicated IOS APP. No major cons in my opinion.

I am still in awe of all the features. It does everything I need it to do so far.

Pros: Paper- I shouldn't ever have to go digging through the filing cabinet to look to see what my customer ordered last. I don't have to file paperwork anymore.
Pricing- I can quickly figure out what a job will cost.
Training- I really like all the videos and docs available

Cons: Its pretty complicated in the beginning.
I wish there was a way to click a button to complete the sales order and invoice and then open the invoice to be printed.

Overall: No more filing

Pros: The whole features of the software make running a sign business more efficient and productive

Cons: Nothing as I think it is a great piece of software

Overall: Quotations are much better making customers get a quote back the same day and also proof including the approvals, customers seem to like the whole layout of the receiving end

I have enjoyed working with Shopvox- once I went through a few tutorials everything was fairly easy

Pros: The proof and payment portals are really nice- I can see immediately if proofs are approved. so nice!

Cons: At first some of the tabs were confusing, but once I went through the tutorials everything was great.

Overall: Streamlines the job process. I like that you can upload product pictures.

Comments: While there are some good features to be had, they make changes without notifying the users that affect set ups of all other things. We have had multiple ticket issues open for months that no one has addressed including: slow operation (takes 30 seconds to open something), drop downs not appearing until you delete cookies in your browser and refresh, default settings not working and most recently - the inability to edit quotes. I desperately need a quote edited and no one will respond to help me after leaving multiple voice messages and e-mails to support and the owner.

The people at shopvox are very helpful and supportive.

Pros: The art approval, online payment option as well as sending invoices is exceptional and a benefit to the customer

Cons: The purchasing side can use some improvements. We have had some issues with batching orders and keeping pricing correct.

Pros: shopVOX is an ok shop management software. A lot of your basic fabricator shop needs can be met using their software.

Cons: Not a huge fan of shopVOX's pricing plans as they are a subscription-based service. Personally not a big fan how businesses are starting to turn towards this route.

shopVOX has made our invoicing and quoting process so much easier and transparent.

Pros: All users can collaborate and work together seamlessly on shopVOX with the online platform, We can manage projects and keep the job flow transparent across all aspects of the job to ensure a smooth project from quoting to the final implementation of our work.

Cons: I have only been using this software for a short period but have found no issues so far, it has been easy to use and adapt too.
