### "The software works well, has few issues and does what we need it to do."

The software is a great help in running our office, from pricing to workflow management. It is well designed and incredibly helpful.

Pros

The flexibility of the software is incredible. I can customize it to a large degree and it allows me to take very direct control of our processes. It has more features that I have even had time to explore and I know that the more time I invest in learning it the more it will optimize our workflow, pricing, time management, etc.

Cons

The complexity is great, but I feel that we are under utilizing many of the features and not using several others. The training / online resources do not adequately show how to use all of the features in my opinion and are not easy to follow. Also, without paying for advanced setup you are left with a limited capability to use the software until you overcome an incredibly steep learning curve. It does seem that they have done more training materials / videos than were available when I first signed up and I am hopeful that as I continue to explore them I can implement the unused features in time.

### "Software with good features, but with a lot of issues"

The entire soft is good to go, if it works. Good tech support, The rep teach how to start working, how to create flows and etc. Then comes the bad side of experience. After discovering bugs and issues, I show some of them to Aaron, he also see it in meeting. Then I tell them to schedule another meeting, to show other bugs and issues, and ask to cancel my account and do refund, and tell them that I will use their software if they fix these bugs and issues. And their co-Founder refuse to refund. At first he said that my described bugs are not issue. Then how to pay to employees. How can be it issue for you if we have 1000s customers. "About 4 ppl have spent time on your account so far including me/billing/Coach/Support". So just to know, I use trial period, then I paid for one month and one user, then I ask them to give discount for new users, because it will be just for testing. They give as 50% for the first month. I use only 3 days, after 3 days we find a lot of problems with performance and not working features. And he tell me about time they spent. Support answers with chat to my few questions, billing just cancel my account, and "me".. This company instead of say thanks to finding issues, think only about their money.

Pros

Process customization. Ability to do a lot in one place, from sale leads to production, to customer.

Cons

Software speed, issues with user roles and notifications. Incomplete API, without any documentation.

Pros

We thought we would have a solution that would cover us with every aspect of our business, but we couldn't have a support to get our website connected after 3 years using the software.

Cons

Too complicate to link with our website. My card was expired once and they disconnected us, when we change for the new card, they have kept us offline for 2 x days because no one could connect us straight away. Also, when we left, we told them before they charged our card we were leaving, but anyway we got charged for the following month subscription and the payment has gone and they didn't want to refund us, we still looking to talk with the card company in USA about it.

Before we integrated ShopVox into our shop, we were struggling to keep track of jobs and to provide accurate quotes. I stumbled upon ShopVox through Capterra and after trying 5 or so different print management software, I finally decided to go with ShopVox. Best decision I've ever made. Not only are we more competitive with the market now, thanks to ShopVox I can focus on quick and easy quotes so that the customer doesn't have to wait till we get back. I set the system up myself, however I recommend getting some help through their online support staff if you're going to attempt it. Their support is among the best in the market. 10/10.

Pros

Their recent switch AWS servers made it a lot faster. Support for printing and sign shops. Customer Support Ability to integrate with Quickbooks

Cons

Random shutdowns for maintenance. Price Steep learning curve.

### "Amazing Software - Timing of Updates is the Only Downside"

Absolutely love shopVOX! Everything about it is amazing. The only downside as I stated above is that updates are made during the work day. We use shopVOX all day, every day of the week. When updates are being made, for example, at 12:30pm on a Wednesday, we cannot properly run our business. There are work-arounds for us, but we ideally would need updates to be made outside of business hours.

updates are made during the day when that happens, system does not function properly

Pros

The software offers me real time reports when I need to know how much have I sold during the whole year so far, as well as daily sales, open invoices, payments, etc.

Cons

does not have certain capabilities yet, I am sure they will improve it soon, for example, if you have a customer that is a reseller, but begun as a regular customer with regular tax, then sends you a reseller certificate, sometimes, is not possible to just take out the tax, you need to void the invoice and create a new one, even if you have changed the customer details from taxable to non taxable, it is simply not possible just to uncheck the tax. I am pretty sure they will fix that, because in some cases, the software allows it and in some it doesn't.

Automating the quotation process and implementation of a much more easier workflow.

Pros

The ability to manipulate the software to do almost anything you want it to do. Creating products is easy, entering materials via the csv upload works seamlessly as it is also easy to update the materials, costs, margins etc ShopVOX offer a lot of variation options to format and customize your own ShopVOX user experience that suits your own unique business structure. The user interface (UI) is so easy to navigate and find my way around each and every feature and function of ShopVOX. The biggest Pro is the support from ShopVOX and the team. It is available around the clock and is endless. All the staff at ShopVOX are VERY knowledgeable, helpful and offer the best and fastest support available.

Cons

Entering data such as customers and vendors can be cumbersome but still works well. System Maintenance scheduled times can be annoying for us users in Australia as the software goes down at our busiest times, but not a big issue considering the number of updates and feature upgrades that ShopVOX constantly do to make the software better every day.

Recently switched from signVOX to shopVOX. Feel like I took a step back in time. There are too many windows and too many clicks to accomplish a task. Chat was horrible...Gangadar from Indonesia was rude...through a chat! When creating a new customer, why should I have to save the information, and then pull customer contact up to add a cell phone or any other additional contact info? Customers are having a difficult time approving proofs. No longer capable of opening a proof and forwarding through regular email. Creating a job is now several windows of nonsense. There is a new window for everything. This new program is extremely time consuming. \*I do not pay the bill so I do not know the overall value of the software. Any amount is too much for this dinosaur. Truly a step back instead of forward...very disappointed.

Pros

The only good quality of this software is being able to show a quote as an Invoice without having to actually converting it.

Cons

Too many windows!!! Too time consuming!!!

SignVOX has been one of the best finds since the digital printer! It seamlessly (and paperlessly) takes jobs from design to completion and makes quoting a breeze! Signsmith LOVES it!

Pros

Job information is saved without backing up our servers and can go from design to completion seamlessly with minimal interaction of employees.

Cons

we are still trying to utilize all that it is capable of, but right now, the only downside I have run into is that if our internet goes out, so does the VOX! Can't have everything!

By the end of the year, you will have incorporated many of the features and your shop will be so much more organized. :) And one more suggestion: when the internet goes out, you can use a personal iphone or android hotspot on your phone to connect to wifi until the internet returns. Shopvox is an excellent software that we have already used several years ago. We had stopped for compatibility issues with French law. But we couldn't find a tool that was as efficient for either pricing or scheduling, so we opted to go back to Shopvox and reconfigure everything from scratch. Our margin is better, we save a lot of time, we are delighted!

Pros

Ease of making quotes . Calculated prices are good No possible error on the area calculation

Cons

Many functions are not translated into our language, which limits us the possibilities of use, especially for technical terms. Some specific support requests take a long time to process

Production wise our company is able to track all jobs

Pros

My favorite feature with SHOPVOX is how user friendly it is, navigating is a simple task when you have a customer standing in front of you. Also on an accounting end SHOPVOX is very user friendly when searching for payments. On the production end SHOPVOX makes it very easy to keep track of ALL jobs whether they are in a QUOTE, SALES ORDER or if the job has been invoiced. Something that our department like as well is the roll up feature, it makes it simple for customers to read.

Cons

All in all I have nothing bad to say about the software. The communication with customer service is NOT good at all. You end up having to figure stuff out yourself, Especially when it comes to syncing

Control of pricing customizable products and scheduling orders

Pros

I love that I can pull prices from apparel catalogs and create custom price grids. I've used excel sheet templates to price out items for my screen print/embroidery shop, and shopVox is a million times better. There's also so a lot of customer support and human interaction.

Cons

Setting up your shopVox takes a while so be prepared to invest some time. They do offer additional options to set up your shopVox. I opted to do the initial set up myself.

Pros

When using ShopVox I feel like writing up quotes and orders is easy and convenient. Also when sending things to our clients it looks super professional and easy for them to use and understand. I love that whenever I have a question I can easily message and get a response from a team member at ShopVox.

Cons

I would love to be able to track our team members time on a specific job/order # so that when we are quoting new jobs we have a good way to reference how long it took us and be able to quote a price that we know will be profitable.

We are really enjoying using shopvox, we've moved from using spreadsheets and whiteboards to manage our shop, and Shopvox has been extremely useful. The print approval process has streamlined us getting customers to approve their jobs. Overall Shopvox has helped us improve our internal process and run our shop more efficiently.

Pros

The job board and ability to set custom statuses has helped us so much in our day to day process

Cons

The features we thought were missing like proper CRM and email deadlines are available in the pro version of Shopvox so we will be looking to upgrade soon

My daily experience is positive and shopVox keeps the job details organized as you enter them. I would recommend to other sign shops.

Pros

shopVox is a new software to me. I have only used it for about a year. I like to ability/flexibility to enter my own product title and description on custom items. We can also include attachments such as photos, digital assets within our quotes and we can also insert internal notes accessible between departments. The software was easy to integrate into our work operations. We do not use this software to its full potential, yet.

Cons

The only "Con" I have encountered to date is the Refund process. Not very intuitive and refund doesn't show on the actual job invoice with job description.

Pros

Intuitive, easy to learn, although workarounds were necessary to discover. Allows price changes on the fly, access to historical info good, but reporting not.

Cons

Limited reporting made the product difficult to provide robust analysis of the business. Worst of all, TechVox staff refused to give us our data. We were forced to a new platform for business reasons, and they claimed they had never provided historical data files. These cannot be run from the reports menu. We have a business partner elsewhere who DID get the info, so I provided that proof (email string) and TechVox personnel then refused to answer my request. But they canceled my subscription within 10 mins. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

Overall shopVOX has been great. No product is perfect but shopVOX has been really good and helped to get our new shop off the ground quickly.

Pros

Shopvox is easy to use and encompasses all aspects of our business. We used signvox in a previous organization and shopvox has addressed all of the issues we faced with signvox.

Cons

The customer support can be tricky sometimes. You are assigned an onboarding specialist but we found that they were not always easy to get in touch with when you needed them. The 24hr chat is convenient but there are definitely issues that we have had to consult other users to solve because the support team didn't understand our question.

I can have all my customer's info, invoices, receipts, assets and payments all in one place. No need to file papers or documents. Everything related to my customer is easier to find now.

Pros

I love how complete it is. Its the best combination of CRM/POS software for the sign industry I've come across. It gets better and better and all the updates. I haven't learned everything it has to offer because it's just too many. Also I love the fact customer can pay their invoice/down payment right from a simple online credit card form. I've started using it recently and I can't believe how convenient it is for me and my customers.

Cons

It's a little complex, but its because all the option is has... still is a much better version from the former Signvox.

We were hesitant to switch POS systems again (we were originally with SignVox and Casper before that), but this move has been fantastic. Our entire team is up-to-speed on the software and we are all loving it.

Pros

The depth and portability are it's biggest assets. We are just now digging deeper into the pricing structures to fine tune our products, and it's going to be a game-changer for our business. Quoting and invoicing is a breeze, and teaming up with an online payment portal has been extremely beneficial. And being able to write up orders anywhere is a dream.

Cons

If I had to make a complaint, it would be with the speed and loading times in some areas. I'm guessing the upgrade to AWS will greatly improve this problem.

Makes invoicing process a lot easier as all information is in one place and everyone is using the same system.

Pros

Invoicing process a lot easier as all the information is there, we still manually raise invoices in Sage. Having to store less paperwork and supporting documentation. Everyone using same software and working the same way.

Cons

Same numbers being used for multiple documents can get confusing when searching. Due dates changed on Job board do not change on sales orders.

We do have the ability to use different numbers for Sales Orders and Invoices - but that's a setting controlled by the admin of your shopVOX account. If you guys would to enable that - just reach out to our Chat Support team. They can enable with approval from your admin. And you're right - if you change the Job due date - it doesn't update the Sales Order. That's because there could be multiple Jobs on the Sales Order that are due at different times. The platform is always expanding and getting better. As a project management tool, it's been great. FOr quoting, it's great.

Cons

There are still plenty of quirks and bugs to be worked out. Typically there's a workaround or a fix forthcoming but we bump into small issues
