They are responsive to user input and they provide improvements & updates often.

Pros

The automated workflows are very effective. I personally love the software, however, we have a fair amount of older users who are not very computer proficient and they have a harder time navigating, but that has nothing to do with ShopVox.

Cons

Regarding the initial 1 week training on how to set up the back end: rather than have 1 week of training all at once, I would have preferred to have a couple days training on setting up the back end, then a few weeks later, have the other half of the user-side training after I had the back end set up.

Using this software has helped greatly in the midst of the Covid crisis as we've lost some key personnel and shopVOX has allowed me to take on the extra administrative work without spending 16 hours a day at the shop.

Pros

shopVOX is perfectly tailored for the sign industry. It's the first complete solution I've come across and the combination of preset features and the ability to customize just about everything from top to bottom is unbeatable.

Cons

I know that QuickBooks is the standard for small businesses but I'm still using Sage and the integration with Sage is not great.

Pros

I love that I can use this from my phone and save photos and emails directly to individual orders. I love that someone is always available if I'm having technical difficulties. They listen to suggestions that we offer to make it an even better website. I love how it makes keeping my jobs and customer organized.

Cons

I can't really think of anything negative. I wish there was more ease to create my own personalized reports, but its great otherwise.

Utilizing the job board feature made an immediate improvement on our shop workflow. Within 2 weeks we noticed a significant improvement in our production flow. Helped minimize simple mistakes we made before and gave us a bird's eye view of our projects. I made the mistake of trying to make shopvox work how our shop did versus making adjustments to our shop to make the most of shopvox. Setting it up took a bit more time than expected and we're still making adjustments as needed. However, it has semi-automated some tasks we used to do manually. The software has a lot of potential to be THE software of the customization industry. Anxious to see what improvements come in the next year.

Pros

Organizes and helps streamline custom work flow. Appears to be scalable so no concerns of outgrowing the software quickly.

Cons

It's not 100% clear on how to tailor the software to your shop needs. There seems to be features that could benefit our shop but not sure how to make the best use of them.

Speed of quoting Making it easier for other staff to quote jobs.

Pros

The flexibility of how we can build our company to what we want and how we want it. The help centre is one of the best features. The ability to edit things on the fly very easily.

Cons

Would love the Help Centre to be open Sat and Sunday sometimes when building the company info as we can't get time in office hours so we had to work on it over the weekend. Cannot change or edit the workflow processes on the fly for custom jobs.

Pros

shopVOX has increased our productivity, minimized mistakes, streamlined our quoting and invoicing processes and has greatly reduced our consumption of paper with keeping track of production on a large monitor in the shop. shopVOX has had a positive effect on our bottom line as well as maintained a lower accounts receivable. We could never go back to the days before implementing shopVOX into our business! Also, the customer service has been simply amazing!

Cons

No real issues...and of those that have arisen, shopVOX has been super responsive in resolving them.

We are fairly new to shopVOX and are still tweaking the fine details. I feel once you get all your pricing and settings in place it saves you so much time

Pros

This software lets us track all of our sales leads, customers, jobs and their progress. I love that once you have built a sales order and completed it, its just one click to convert it to an invoice. It combines a few of our old systems into one program. I love how easy it is to recreate an old job, instead of starting from scratch.

Cons

Some email proof don't get to the customer. We are still getting used to it so...so far so good

Reason for choosing shopVOX

We looked into a few CRM type software but ShopVOX seams to be more specific for the production/ graphic design industry so there are a lot of features that we would not get from other product. ie. links right to apparel suppliers and materials used for each job that build the price.

Extremely efficient team workflow

Pros

The overall use is very fluid and user friendly. Too many of there competitors have a dated database look to them that does not flow well. Very conformable and powerful. You can tailer the software to however detailed you want.

Cons

Servers go down or have issues from time to time but has become very few and far between in the past year

Cons

I wish when you sorted information (i.e. by amount due, etc.) that it would stay that way instead of reverting back to chronologically sorting when the page is exited.

It's a great company / software. We are a screen printing company in the NL and did business before with DecoNetwork. No good and fast support and an incredible low speed software. ShopVOX is working fast / accurate and all people in our company are happy with it and we are only working 2 weeks now ! Overall a good supportive company!

Pros

Online support and all options to fully customize your business. Also the time and effort everyone takes for a customer, never seen it before!

Cons

Somewhat complex to setup your business but then again it is a bit unavoidable when one wants to setup his shop in detail. So apart from that no cons at all

Pros

The best support help! One on one phone calls, emails with a real person. If there is a quick question the chat is perfect. Lots of great features. Training videos and details are always available. If you need a walk through they will make a video to help assist you. If you are asking a quick question they take snap shots and send them to you so you can see what is being discribed. Many great features within the set up of this detailed system.

Cons

Some items that we want customized are not an option yet however we really like that ShopVOX takes everyone's wants of the system into account when making regular improvements.

An overhead view of my shop and the ability to schedule difficult jobs.

Pros

I like the overhead view of where all of our jobs are in process. ShopVox allows me to see where a job is, who is working on it and if it is on time or if I need to help get it back on track. The work flow view is good for managing multiple jobs in one department.

Cons

We really need better reporting on the Job side and a better view of each department as a single department. Being able to look at Department A and see what their workload is for a given scheduled month would be ideal.

I have been using using Signvox, and then ShopVOX, for over 4 years now and really like it. It is an easy to use, fast, comprehensive, and scaleable piece of software. Support, when required, is fast and reliable. The tech team are also continually improving the software with tweaks and new features. They obviously monitor the performance closely to ensure smooth running and good server speed.

Pros

Comprehensive, clean UI, ease of use, plenty of features included without need for extra subscriptions.

Cons

finding enough time to explore all the features

Frustrated.

Pros

SV is a great as a CRM software and ties customers, follow ups and notes all together so you can look at a customers history.

Cons

We were mislead when we were told that it would communicate with Quickbooks. It does not communicate with Quickbooks. When talking to our coach the explanation we get is engineering is working on it. That is the same answer I got about SV not sorting by date 6 months ago. Engineer is still working on that. It appears to me that some of the key features are half baked and the engineers only have a toaster oven.

Great tool and perfect for my boss company and small team of employees. Everyone likes to use ShopVOX and heavily rely on it for work.

Pros

I like the easy customization and adaptation to each work and production stage. I also think that the calendar and job board cards views are great.

Cons

The user interface design needed a bit of more modernization so the information on screen would be easier to be digested.

ShopVox keeps all of our data and puts it in one location with access anywhere there is a network. The software allowed us to create a workflow that we can track and adjust as needed.

Pros

The software is pretty quick and easy to use. It has great customization and flexibility to fit any production workflow.

Cons

I would love to have the asset list customizable.

Time saving and accuracy of estimates.

Pros

This software is very complete, it allows to correctly estimate each work, to think about every detail, in a simple way.

Cons

The software is translated into French, but there are still a few words in English, For example, on the invoice model.

The art approval, online payment option as well as sending invoices is exceptional and a benefit to the customer

Cons

The purchasing side can use some improvements. We have had some issues with batching orders and keeping pricing correct.

Pros

ShopVOX is constantly evolving - - new improvements are introduced on a regular basis. The development team is responsive and as a result, the software is ever-improving.

Pros

ShopVox allows all the staff, in real time, to monitor sales leads and orders, production workflow from design to delivery. Our client's are able to easily communicate with us through online portals. ShopVox has enabled us to have a cohesive efficiency where we used to get bogged down.

Cons

As with any software there is investment required to learn all of the capabilities. There are some "work arounds" we've implemented to make ShopVox more optimal for our company.
