I've always loved Talech and shared my experience for the system with other small businesses. It's ease of use makes it perfect for our small store. What brought me to Talech was the ability to manage inventory and now the new integrated 2.0 is exciting!

### "First Time P.O.S. Users"

Talech was our first P.O.S. software we had ever used, in our business. before talech we were doing everything very old fashion. The transition into the Talech software was very easy, and user friendly. It did not take long at all before both my employees and myself became very reliant on Talech. All of the Tech support is very useful, and they are very good about explaining things in ways that we can understand very easily. We recommend Talech for anyone!

It sometimes mixes up our inventory, although as long as we do regular stock take that problem is covered.

### "4 out of 5 stars aren't bad"

The software is not perfect, bur honestly the customer service on the banking end is what stinks. When you made all your updates recently it became a little more difficult to use. And it became more difficult to obtain some of the back office reports as well.

### "Cant fix what is wrong"

We have been using Talech for over a year. The customer support is good- they always try. We have issues like talech reports tips for people who dont make tips. We have people who work in the back who dont make anything in tips, talech shows half their income comes from tips. I dont report these to payroll, it is something that worries me if we ever get audited. They came up with a work around that works about half tbe time. I shoukd have but did not do alot of research before going with Talach, so I cant really comment on their rates.

### "Multimidhopefulness"

1\. Customer Service takes a unreasonably long time to get thru. they are helpful most of the time 2. The mutli mid platform does really help me much other than being able log in once and see all stores. 3. The employees Clocking in and clocking out with the way it clears out a till doesn't make sense how it s works. It is a pain that you have clock out and clock back in to acct. for overlap in a shift. Why will it not keep track of employees in chart that separate store location so we could see total number of hours per store as well total number of employee hours in a certain time frame. 4. Some of the scrolling buttons on the store screen could be smaller so you don't have to swipe so far to find a different menu page. A quick touch to change menus instead of swiping would REALLY increase efficiency.

### "Easy to use"

Easy to learn and use but would like to be able to run more detailed reports. For example, monthly sales reports by catergory would be helpful. As it is, an individual category has to be manually separated.

Pros

Aesthetic, easy to use, like using kitchen printer for custom items.

Cons

Keeping app synced with actual inventory. Wish this was automatic.

### "Talech - Terrible Service "

Talech...I wish we had never purchased their equipment for our bar! When there are issues customer service is rude and simply reads a script. No immediate resolution. I have requested return call... no call. Frustrating.

This soft wear is easy to operate and easy to teach new staff how to use programing is fast and easy

Works well in our fast paced business, much better than the last 'Cloud Based System' we had in place, offers new features on regular basis, customer service is usually helpful unless it's something they have no control over such as internet connection. Overall a good system.

Offers and updates us on new features, able to track employee stats and hours, fairly easy to create new menu items, compatible with competitive processing companies, generates reports based on desired timeline or time range

Overall a nice program with continual improvements. the latest version is much nicer. For QSR it would be nice to have a faster flow for order specifications. there often feels like there are too many taps needed to complete a process.

### "System Review"

Overall, the system works very well, but we have encountered several software glitches that have caused some confusion. We cannot seem to find the saved customer profiles, however when we go to enter a new customer with that information, it comes up stating that it is existing. Other than that, we have been very happy with the system and the ease of use

Ease of use and ease of learning. New employee learning curve is less than 20 minutes

Updates can be confusing and we cannot find saved customer profile information

Pros

Easy to add a product to the menu. The use of moving product around is also a good feature.

Cons

To look up old sales you have to keep scrolling up to populate sales. Then when you find the sale and click on it you have to go back to the beginning to look for another.

The Talech system is overall good value for the money. Nicer features include inventory tracking and reporting. I also like that employee time sheets are integrated. However, the purchase order feature is worthless. POs do not include the item number, which make them useless to vendors. This is a real handicap if the intended use is for supply chain.

### "No accurate calculations "

Labor cost calculation way off and not repaired. I dont think they know how to fix it. Super frustrated as this is the second most important feature on the pos.

Had an experience issue with CC process. but always support desk answered an questions and helped. our store is 3hours different with main land but alleays helped even weekend!

### "Ice cream parlor"

Ordered Talech for my ice cream parlor and in the shop it works fine. Back office capabilities are lacking. I cannot seem to easily grab the reports that are important to me but am usually able to piece things together to get what I need. Best of luck if your credit card machine goes down. You just don't know who to call.

### "Confident with talech"

Our overall experience with talech has been good. Some features like inventory or stock take don't work well for us but with the latest update the changes have been great and have given us even more capability at the table for our customers. They gave us a lot of changes that we asked for and even beyond. It making running our business a whole lot easier.

I have been using talech for a couple years now haven could not be happier. The POS is simple and easy to use. Likewise the customer service is great, whenever I have a problem they are always available to talk and run me though fixing the problem.

Disappointed in reporting, not enough detail. reports show discounting but does not separate Loyalty Program discounts from other discounts although reports show line items for each all discounts show up as discounts. There are a few other items but don't have time right now.

I would recommend Talech to any restaurant that needs a budget friendly pos system. We looked at many options before deciding to go with Talech and have never regreted that decision. The updates are always amazing and tech support is spot on. The ease of use of the program is incredible, if you can navigate an iPad then you can use Talech.
