March 26, 2026 4.0 I had a great experience, the interface is really intuitive and easy to use and there are different options depending on your volume of emails with the bulk verifier thing that I find particularly helpful for my case Pros I got the best accuracy emails, even more than with most much more expensive platforms. And I was even able to achieve a 0% bounce rate ! Cons I did have to make the emails go through the verifier 2 times becauss there were still some bad ones after the first use but everything was clean after the second. So that is just a little something the proffy team should think about. I have used a lot of validation tools over the years. And, Proofy is not among the good ones I have used. The only thing I liked about them is their customer service is good, they act fast and give solutions quick. Cons The results aren't that good. They have improved a bit, but not good enough yet. I run lead gen for a small agency, mostly B2B SaaS clients, and bad data used to be the silent killer of our campaigns — bounces piling up, domains getting flagged, the whole thing. Proofy fixed that without making me jump through hoops. You drop in your list, it sorts everything into clean buckets: deliverable, risky, unknown, catch-all, the stuff that actually matters. No guessing. What really won me over is how little friction there is. So many of these platforms bury the actual feature under five tabs of "premium insights" you didn't ask for and a popup begging you to upgrade. Proofy just does the job. And the pricing is honest — pay for what you use, no mystery tiers, no surprise charges at checkout. After getting burned by a couple of the big-name verifiers that treat every feature like an add-on, that transparency feels almost rare. If you're sending cold email at any kind of volume and you're skipping verification, you're basically gambling with your domain reputation. We were able to quickly write our own extensible minimal abstraction layer for integrating it into our current application. Pros An available API was critical for us. We needed to be able to write a real-time check of email deliverability so that we reject bad addresses BEFORE they make it to our list. The other handy feature is that you can screen a current list in bulk very easily simply by uploading it and letting Proofy run the batch for you. Cons There wasn't anything that I didn't specifically like. If I had to pick something, other similar APIs generally have a single query. Proofy's process is 2-stage - you query, it gives you an ID, and then you check the ID for the email status. So that's an extra step. (However, that can actually be a plus, because it seems like they store that data for later use - hence the ID they give you) Reason for choosing Proofy Although it was not the absolute cheapest, Proofy had a better price-point per email checked than some of the other options out there.
