Not excellent. Functioning is not great. Support is not knowledgeable or helpful. Training videos are long and not relevant. A simple thing takes a lot of clicks.

Pros

ProShop is definitely a memorable experience! It keeps you on your toes and encourages creativity in problem-solving. Every visit feels like a new adventure, which means there’s never a dull moment. It challenges you to think differently and builds patience and resilience along the way. For those who enjoy mastering a system inside and out, ProShop provides plenty of opportunities to become a true expert. Trust me, their representatives won't help you. Other than waste more time directing you to "training videos" that are not relevant.

Cons

This application is expensive and not very user-friendly. The "support" is not supportive. I ask questions and when I get a representative in the chat, they refer me to a long training video, that doesn't help. I ask if they can explain something in a few clicks and they can not. They don't have enough chat support. Simple things, like deleting a record are overly complex. You are not able to change/edit contacts (their names)(Vendors and Clients) after you save them. We tried incorporating 9110D and its was a lot of extra work. This system wasted so much of our time. They need more support representatives that are actually knowledgeable. The support representatives have told me many times "Yes, you can do xyz, but it will be difficult." I don't understand what we are paying for. I have employees who can upload and edit documents, but they are unable to view them (access issues). It also goes down during the day, sometimes for hours at a time. Not user friendly, do not recommend.

### "A few things"

1) Our work is varied and complex due to the agreements we have that are VERY unique. Mostly we are able to modify aspects of PS to work for us but we need slight modifications so we can have the system work as we need to and not modify what we do to fill in the system. 2) The last PS chat I had was the BEST EVER and most helpful experience. Thank \[sensitive content hidden\] for that please. She assisted AND provided the links we previously had not quiet understood which led us to CHAT. She got the meaning of service!

Pros

Traceability is prioritized. Allows for many required fields AND allows modification if they need to be tailored Depth of manufacturing details exceeds prior software

Cons

1) Seat Access Our machinist require more input because of API Quality and the eleven Licenses for items that we manufacture 2) No Parts Pricebook. We work off of contract pricing...same all the time. Without price book we have to refer to separate system

I've enjoyed the system; it has made my job of scheduling much clearer and easier. I also really like the phantom order plug in to get a better idea of how what you are quoting can affect the rest of the orders on each machines schedule before you even get the new order. This allows for much more accurate lead time prediction.

Pros

They have almost every aspect of each step of the machining process outlined within the system, from RFQ to invoicing. All you have to do is conform to the system and you will find very few problems in your operation.

Cons

When you go outside the system parameters you can run into issues. I also think the shipping module could use some improvement. For instance, it would be nice if BOL's could be printed through the system while cutting a packing list to the customer.

ProShop has helped increase our throughput by nearly 40% in the past 2 years! It is a little overwhelming at first but with the right implementation specialists and now an AI assistant, you can learn as fast as you can handle it.

Pros

This is truly a one stop manufacturing system. Everything in one place with total transparency to make the whole team feel like they have an impact on the success or your company.

Cons

There are a few features that ProShop is currently working on developing that would enhance their software dramatically!

So far so good! It provides what we need to keep business running and supply our customer with the documentation they need.

Pros

Barrier of entry and learning curve are not steep. For the most part it handles the needs of the business.

Cons

NC need to be multi-dim tag enabled. The splitting of WOs is a little different, and the QuickBooks Proxy can be more stable.

### "Information at the tips of your fingers."

We had a rocky start because we did not take the advice and suggestions from ProShop when we first switched over and tried running it "our way" for 2.5 years. Now that we are done trying to fight against the current it is making everyone's life easier. Having the information you need at the tips of your fingers is priceless. I don't miss spending 10+ hours a week looking for physical job travelers.

Pros

ProShop makes working paperless. I can create queries for just about any report I would need if there is one that is not already premade. I don't have to spend 10+ hours a week looking for physical travelers.

Cons

Honestly not much. What I don't like they are working on integrating into the software currently or at a later date.

My overall experience has been outstanding! Our Training Implementer was very knowledgeable about the system and a great teacher. The online ProShop Academy is one of the best online training platforms that I have used. The continued support is always prompt to respond to questions.

Pros

My favorite part about is the people. Everyone I have been in contact with is technically knowledgeable about the product and passionate about helping our industry. The second most important thing I like about ProShop ERP is that it's a complete proven digital management system for our shop. The ProShop ERP system is adding value to our business by guiding us to create better processes with decreased risk to our customer.

Cons

Even though training is excellent it takes a lot of time to become become proficient with the system.

The AI chat Ally is great when you need quick help. If you get stuck and you cant solve an issue you can get in contact with a live person. Great customer service and problem solving.

Cons

ProShop Champions must know the system inside and out to help others. The system has allot of information and it takes time to learn everything.

Overall experience with ProShop is highly rated. There is a lot of versatility in how you'd like to operate the system. I like how it integrates with Ground Control (Inspection Software) to create seamless CSV transfers.

Pros

I'm extremely happy with ProShop, it is one of the best decisions I made for our business.

Pros

ProShop allows me to manage every aspect of my business in one package. It's easy to teach and train employees on how to use it. Our business has grow significantly since the implementation of ProShop. It's allowed us to take on more work, more difficult work and maintain the same level of overhead. The system is organized nicely and creates a lot of efficiencies in non manufacturing roles.

Cons

Some of the menus do get deep and there are a lot of ways to navigate to the same location. Some people like this, and others do not. It is a complex system but it isn't overly complicated to navigate.

Proshop for me has been a game changer. No longer am I have to run a business off 3 or 4 spreadsheets. I have one central place to use as a hub and understand how our business/jobs are running.

Pros

I like the easy of use of Proshop the best. It was built for a machine shop and all the processes are easy understandable. It give you 99% of everything you need to run your business from a QMS and ERP side in one package.

Cons

I would like the see a Built in CRM in Proshop.

I had purchased Proshop at my last company and 100% thought it was the best system out there for the money. We tested all the other systems and I just did not think they were to the level of Proshop.

### "ProShop turned Dynamic Balance Machine into a Pro-Shop."

Implementation was easy. The ProShop team was amazing in getting us up to speed incredibly fast. When we receive a re-order from a customer we are able to process parts in the same manner they were processed a year earlier. It is so easy to input information about a process, operation, fixtures, tooling, material, etc... that you can produce a part nearly identical to an original order right down to the details listed on the work order. Being able to instantly access information relevant to your job function is a game changer not only to employees, but to running and growing a successful machine shop. We could not have done it without ProShop.

Pros

Visibility. The biggest thing I like about ProShop is that I am able to see across all machining cells what jobs are being currently processed. I can see from multiple dashboards what is ready for outside processing, ready to inspect, ready to ship to the customer and what has been invoiced. I love that all of the information about a work order is accessible with in the click of a mouse. The other thing I really like is that a Quality Management System is so easy to maintain being built right into ProShop.

Cons

The thing that I least like about ProShop is that we put all this information in the system and we want to be able to customize part labels based on my customers requirements. If we could have this feature available to us we wouldn't have any complaints. This feature request is one that we can't wait to get our hands on.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

Ease of use. Training is a breeze for new hires. It is so intuitive you can literally give someone a login show them the menu and they can figure out the most of it for themselves. I mean, we don't do that, but you could. We like the functionality in every aspect. ProShop is built for Manufacturing. The other reason we bought ProShop is that the guys that developed the ERP also ran a machine shop for 20+ years. They have most likely encountered every problem imaginable using in a manufacturing environment. With the ProShop guys improving ProShop over 20+ years that has given us that much more of a competitive edge in manufacturing without having to overcome the barriers ourselves. Thanks ProShop.

Control of my business. Peace of mind. Foundation for expansion. Insight into where we are making or losing money. Reduced ISO workload.

Pros

Proshop has lots of great features and I am exceptionally pleased with almost all of it. The things that I like the most are scope, reliability, IT burden, and visibility. The scope of Proshop is amazing. It handles your document control for quality systems, including procedures and manual. It handles COCs, prints, revision control, inspection data, fixture location, tool management, etc. One software for everything is important, especially for small companies like mine. If you need a piece of data IT'S RIGHT THERE! Proshop is very reliable. After some initial teething problems were quickly worked out, I can always count on the server being up and my shop functioning. The features just work every time. I can leave on vacation with peace of mind and know that I'm not going to get called because the system is down. Because the system is browser based the IT burden of installing a work station is zero. No software to install or update. You access the server over a web browser and you are in business. Cheap linux computers work great-no antivirus or Microsoft necessary. The licensing model allows you install as many workstations as you want at no cost. Nice for a growing shop. No lining up at the one station and waiting your turn. Proshop allows you to have great insight into what is going on in your shop. We were growing and spiraling out of control. Nobody knew what anyone was doing or where anything was. Now I know and right from my desk.

Cons

There isn't much that I don't like. The software is perfect for repeat or production work, but is not quite as friendly for small job shop jobs. We use it for that successfully as we still do that type of work, but it isn't quite as good for that. There are some areas in the interface that could be cleaned up and the proper usage of all fields and features could be more clear. That's about it.

I spent many years designing my own Excel routers, and cost estimation tools, and quote forms. Linking all these items together via master documents, and storing them in share folders.....it worked....but it wasn't ProShop. ProShop is exactly what I would have created if I knew how to develop software, beyond my Excel mastery.

Pros

Navigation from within the software is absolutely ridiculously easy and efficient. Many times I've been showing something to a colleague and they'd say "wow, I didn't know you could get to that screen so easily". Everything is tied together in so many ways. No more do I have to jump between multiple different sofwares, or file types, or locations, to handle estimates/quotes, orders, MFG procedures, inspections, quality documentation, and processes/procedures (Tasks).

Cons

Integration with QuickBooks has been a struggle.

Knowing this software originated from manufacturing people, who made the software based on their actual day to day use and needs....was crucial in my decision making.

Overall, it's been a big change for us but now I feel we have more control of our workflow and that's what I really wanted out of an ERP system in the first place. took some time to get ahead but you just need to keep persevering and the benefits will come.

Pros

Ease of use, training is thorough and always available, support team are the best no problem too small or too big they always find way to help, and able to run the business remotely even on the other side of the world. The big thing is it has everything included you don't have to keep buying modules to run the normal run of the mill things.

Cons

Takes a while to learn the system you need to be prepared for around 6 months of teething problems unless you have a experienced user that would make a world of difference. other than that I don't really have and dislikes because any of my old dislikes are likes now because I sort of know what I' doing which helps heaps with anything really.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

Its purposely developed for a machine shop environment so had everything I needed and more. E.g. I said to a M1 salesperson how do I move a job from one machine to another in the schedule quickly? he said basically give me a few weeks and heaps of money and he will make it happen !,., In ProShop I can do want I wanted and quick without writing my own program and no extra money.

### "THE Best ERP System on the Market - Period"

Very smooth and easy implementation, our ProShop trainer/implementor was great to work with and implementation went VERY quickly, we were live on estimating and quoting in the first 2 weeks, were able to see our quoting get more accurate (You can measure that in the system when you win business) and for us to be able to handle 3x the number of quotes with the same staff. The team at ProShop are always there for us, a great group of professionals that support us exceptionally well

Pros

We replaced a lot of highly customized spreadsheets and white boards with ProShop, I have written ERP packages for a living, implemented SAP and Oracle as well as some mid range ERP's and ProShop is hands down THE BEST I have ever come across. We ran an extensive review process of everything out there and nothing came close in the demo's to ProShops capabilities and ease of use. It's just intuative, our team picked it up very quickly and I cannot imagine running our business without it. We implemented the ProShop system and were certified for the first time as a business to ISO9001:2015 in 6 months - we could not have done that without ProShop ! From estimating new parts through to invoicing ProShop does it all well, and everything is easy to find as all the data is linked. We utilize the estimating templates, which we have customized for our specific needs, to create accurate estimates in less time than before we had the system, moving an estimate to a quote takes a couple of mouse clicks, when a customer PO comes in creating a Work Order is another couple of mouse clicks, the same to create packing lists and invoices from the Work Order.

Cons

No Cons Whatsoever - I'd take the exact same decision to implement ProShop in a heartbeat without hesitation as it revolutionized our business - allowing us to do 3x the work with the same staff

The product is fantastic, and the support is even better. The sheer depth of ProShop and it's ability to handle complex manufacturing situations is amazing. They seem to have thought of everything.

Pros

ProShop is the basis on which our company is built. From Day One, RXI implemented Proshop to help us obtain and maintain ISO:9000, AS9100 and ISO:13485 working standards and certification. The way ProShop works for our business is definitely our competitive advantage. We know EXACTLY what it is going to cost us to make the customer's product and we can decide, based on several factors, how we want to price the work. When it's all done, we know how well we did.

Cons

It would be nice to have a CRM built in.

There was just no comparison between what ProShop does and what the competition advertises it "can" do... ProShop's QMS integration is amazing and their professionalism and support are truly world class.

has helped us level up as a small business. We now manage the business with real data to deliver work on time and improve our profitability.Our DIFOT numbers are significantly better.Our productivity is much higher - no need for afternoon shift and increased sales.

Pros

The best thing about is that is was designed and developed by Machinists for Machinists.The workflow is continuous and each stage is linked with hyperlinks. Estimating>Quoting>Customer PO>create Part>create Work Order>Purchase Order(s) for inputs>Invoicing.Machinists and Programmers get everything they always wanted:1) Unlimited Setup Data - Places for Photos and Videos of setups, Tool Lists, Fixture numbers, GCODE in Part Folder2) Sequence Details, Operation Descriptions, Part Development for feedback, FAI and in Process Inspection Lists and tolerances, Print and Part Revisions, and Equipment Used.3) Inspection reports, Document lists, Carton Labels all add to the professional presentation of the job when the customer receives it.Easy to adjust the Schedule Live - Drag and Drop or change the work cell as required on Work Order.Although the software is massive - we can use all or just some of the features when it makes sense to do so. Eg. a Quick job can have a very basic Template that outputs a very simple Work Order - so no time is wasted on excessive data entry. The cloud based Database that is the core of ProShop is rock solid - we experienced no outages or lost data.ProShop ERP can handle a lot more than I was expecting of ERP. HR - skills & training matrix. Uers can create training requirements and track who has completed them. The ability to store GCODE, CAD CAM data and any documents securely.

Cons

The GUI is not pretty. Graphics are under used, it is a text heavy interface.Reports are not intuitive for me, but my \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has mastered the Query System for custom reporting.The learning curve for our business was enormous. This was because we implemented ISO9001, Paperless/Cloud Computing, Time Tracking and simultaneously. The culture shock of working as a team to collect data so it could become useful for costing and scheduling was uncomfortable.Expensive - It is a significant, long term commitment.

DBA uses our local server which is due to be retired or replaced. It was poorly managed and needed considerable time invetsed to "clean up" the data. We decided that that time could be spent deploying a newer system.We wanted Live Data and the transition to a Cloud based system was identified as a solution to improve data, cybersecurity and included Industry 4.0 benefits..It was aligned withthe defence work we aspired to win.

I think it is an excellent piece of software. If you are a small to mid sized manufacturing company in a highly regulated industry, I doubt you'll find anything better. This software just solves so many headaches that other companies probably don't even think about. Examples of things which can save a lot of time including features like the automatic generation of first article inspection reports and automatic retrieval of product documentation (e.g., material/processing certs). I highly recommend this software.

Pros

This software was designed from the ground up by machinists for machinists. As such, they have an intimate knowledge of the problems machinists face and the software solutions that can help solve those problems. If you are a small to medium sized job shop in a highly regulated industry, I doubt you will find anything better.

Cons

There isn't a whole lot of guardrails built into the system to prevent you from shooting yourself in the foot (e.g., input validation). If you are not careful, you can break links between records or enter data in an incorrect format. For the most part, ProShop silently ignores incorrectly formatted input, which can affect system behavior. There are also some system behaviors that aren't totally transparent to the user. I think the above issues are just a consequence of in-house software being released to the general public. Since they built the software, they knew it intimately so there was likely less of a need for detailed documentation and/or guardrails. I believe the above problems will become less of a problem over time as their help documentation is improved and features are added to make the software more user friendly.

Reason for choosing ProShop ERP

ProShop seems like it was designed for our company. The company that created this software used to be a manufacturer in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, so they understand exactly what a job shop in a regulated industry needs since they lived it.

We have had a great experience so far. The training was far better than what we got from our last system and when you have a question they get back to you fairly quick.

Pros

I like that the employees on the shop floor can add information to a part for setup/part production themselves instead of finding a supervisor to do it for them. We also like that it makes folders that are linked to the part in the system so we find that we don't loose any CAD or CAM information anymore. We just started using the tool module and linking tools to parts which has been helpful to be able to order the correct tooling before the part is ready to run on the floor. Employees have said they feel more comfortable with the complicated parts having the part check information at their finger tips anytime they run a part. We are no longer looking through folders with projects in them to line someone up with work. Now, they look at their schedule for a work center and they know what to do next. It has all the information there for them to make decisions too when it comes to schedule.

Cons

The learning curve... There is so much here that some of the shop floor guys took a bit to get it figured out and how everything talks to each other. One other thing I like least about it is that it is hard to tell how many hours are available for a machining center in a certain time frame. While it lines employees up well, it doesn't give schedulers a lot to work with.

### "ERP the way it should be."

This has changed how we do business. We're no longer burdened with the limitations of spreadsheets and paper documents. We can respond much quicker and increase throughput with better planning.

Pros

I love how all the modules work in unison to provide the most accurate information possible in real-time.

Cons

Cross-module queries are not easily accomplished without exporting to Excel.

The number one thing that ProShop has helped our shop do is to make Employees MORE self-sufficient. Instead of asking questions up the chain of command, and involving everyone in a decision making process, employees have all the information available to them to do what is needed on their own, and have confidence that they are doing it correctly. We have realized higher throughput with ProShop, which in turn is reducing our overhead and making us more competitive.

Pros

The thing I like the most about proshop is that it covers all the bases and then some. Right now, our shop does not have a dedicated sales team, but when it does, Proshop will support it. Same goes with inspection, shipping, accounting, and of course every task you could ever think of on the shop floor. Better yet is the fact that if you choose NOT to use certain features of Proshop, it does not cripple the shops functionality. It is not an All or Nothing ERP, meaning that you can take the time needed to grow into it without killing your throughput during the learning curve.

Cons

I think that the multi-layer assembly quoting could use some work. Adding the ability to pull multi-tiered price-breaks for a high number of purchased parts in complex assemblies is an area that needs improvement. On day-to-day Job shop projects, I would find it hard to dig out a weakness in ProShop.
