Pros My employees comment on how easy they can add their time their phone quickly. This feature also allows me to ensure accuracy. With employees that travel to multiple locations the GPS feature allows me to allocate the proper funds for travel and account for each location. Setting up the schedules and sharing with all employees gave us the freedom to collaborate, make schedules changes quickly with little affect on customer and I am able to track task details quickly. Cons There is not a good option for finding information from the past. Searching through past schedules is time consuming. The fact that we can pull custom reports on either a job or employee is fantastic. No more sitting with piles of paper time sheets on my desk looking for discrepancies in hours or billing errors. Now I enjoy paperwork because I can do it anywhere and check on my guys anytime with out making 6 phone calls, I just open the app and within seconds I know where everyone is located. Pros What I love the most is how easy the app is for my guys. I tried a two other apps and it didn’t go well and i myself didn’t find them as excited to us as this one. I'm a residential remodeling contractor and this product works great for our industry. Pros This software automates and simplifies mundane, (although important) day to day tasks so that you can spend more time on the things that make you money and grow your business. Cons Mobile App needs to improve slightly so that it is as intuitive as the website and so that you can do everything on the app as an administrator that you can do on the website. I've needed to edit/make changes in the field that had to wait until I got back to the office. Minor inconvenience, but room for improvement. With the proper log in, information is available when needed. Pros Recently upgraded to using Clock Shark from another platform, it has been a relatively easy transition to this app. I am able to update employees with minimal effort, create work schedules up to six months into the future. We faced a serious issue of time theft last year. The time theft has been eliminated 99.9%. Pros The website is intuitive. The developers really did a fantastic job at creating this website. The mobile app is fantastic and shows who's working where. The GPS track pings a location every 15 minutes and shows the trail. This is fantastic. Cons Some settings need better flexibility. One feature I am patiently waiting for is the ability to change the duration of when someone fails to clock in, an alert is sent to the company. As of now it is set to 4 hours. I have recommended the developers to allow that to be edited to the company's preference. My company for example would like an alert after 30 minutes. Pros It allows us to job cost with our crews times. The GPS tracking has been useful in finding employees not clocking in or out at the designated places. Cons If a person turns off their phone locations, it no longer tracks their GPS at punch in time. We build homes, not computer programmers here, so being able to take and input our employees, jobs, and other details quickly was huge 👍, also, the ease of use for our individual employees to use the platform was nearly trouble free and the idea that they're tracked while clocked in let's us edit their time sheets if they forget we have a portable toilet on site and say they had to drive into town to take a poop 😁 Cons Not entirely sure it's the software or the crappy Android phone I have, but the app will freeze up from time to time. No problem, simply close the app and reopen and its back to business. Switched from [QuickBooks Time](https://www.capterra.com/p/151722/TSheets/) QuickBooks time was crap... Couldn't import or export info quickly with QuickBooks accounting or QuickBooks payroll, which was leading to double and triple entry issues... Ain't no one got time for that crap... They are always on top of their customer service and I feel cared for and valued as a customer any time I come to them with any questions or concerns whatsoever. I have never seen this level of customer support from any other company, which only reinforces our decision to go with them in the first place! It was exactly what we needed and were looking for! Pros I love this software because it consolidates the time/payroll keeping process. It simplifies something that can get really overwhelming and helps us to keep a closer eye on what jobs to bill for labor! It's awesome. We love it. Cons The only thing about it is the phone app - I would like to see some upgrades to the app! It looks different on the Boss's phone and both of our employees phones too. For younger folks who grew up in the technological world it seems simple, but for someone who did not it can get confusing. I would just like to see the phone app streamlined a little bit! It helps tracking hours and keeping employees honest and they haven't complained about using it. If there is a mistake made it's easy to correct and painless. Pros I like that we can switch from job to job. I own several businesses and many of the employees float between businesses so it is easy for them to keep track of hours and leave it in notes if there was a mistake. I also like the GPS I can tell if someone is trying to get a few hours over on me. Great product keep up the work! Cons I'm sure I can think of something but at the moment I'm pleased. Reason for choosing ClockShark GPS and job switching. Also my manager was able to get answers quickly when he inquired about it. He looked into several other ones and said he thought this would be the best and they were supper great about answering anything he needed. Pros One of the big features about this software besides keeping track of time per hr. on a job is that you can keep track of what stage a job is in. Customer info and what the job is about is very important with us. In the marine electronic and electrical field our work is up and down the coast. Having vessel info and customer info on our mobile device is a great time saver not to mention that info can be updated in the office at any time. November 29, 2021 5.0 Went looking for web / app-based time clock for our small construction company. We'd been limping along w/ employees sending txts to bookkeeper and/or the boss, maybe getting timesheets in on time for payroll, and not being able to see the overall picture of who was where and when. ClockShark solved that problem for us very quickly. I had also been looking for a CRM package in our admittedly low budget range. We've been limping along w/ Google Sheets. Have used some of the big boys in the past (Norada/Solve CRM; BuilderTrend) all with big price tags now. It was great to have ClockShark pick up the slack for us in the CRM space - No More Google Sheets! Pros Ease of Use, Accuracy, Quick Employee & Job timesheet data, Price! Can link clients addresses so employees can pull them from the app. I like the PTO accrual. Cons ne of my "complaints" or wishes the program could do was track/log material usage. My company is a landscape/ ecological restoration company and we use herbicide every day, along with equipment hours (ATV, UTV, Tractor, Bobcat, etc) and we bill the customers for the amount of herbicide we use and the for the equipment hours on side. I wish there was an option to select what king of herbicide and equipment you used on site. Is this something that can be looked in to? Compared to other companies, we are a lot better and more reasonable. The overall customer support is amazing and the system is much simpler to use. Pros ClockShark's excellent functionality and outstanding customer service make scheduling and time monitoring simple and pleasant. The PTO Feature is quite convenient; it does away with needless calls and paperwork. Accountability helps keep workers focused. Cons The application often takes a little bit longer than some of its rivals that I've used in the past to complete basic activities like scheduling and timecard approvals, which is a very tiny criticism.
