“How regularly it tries to log you out, we did also experience issues with setting up a staff member & the log in email kept bouncing so he couldn't receive the email to set himself up, once I asked for help from a member of the team online though it got sorted straight away but I do wonder if that may become an issue again in the future.“

I am so looking forward their new image and amplified mission they mention. Please, it would be magical if siri could work with the app so that we could just sing children out through our voice... "Hey Siri, sign Barney out", it is all about using our time in valuable things like cuddling our children at school isn't it?

Pros

For years I have been dreaming of having the help of technology in my classroom, with daily tasks that on a day to day occupy our time and attention. With , it is very easy to sign-in and sign-out the children in our care. To keep in touch with parents, to provide information with regards their absence to school and to even provide training for the team through the 'Learning' section.

Cons

That it logs me out quite quick from the app during pick up time which forces me to put my nip every 2 minutes or less.

Very positive experience. After using another well known learning portal, is so much more equipped to dealing with early years. We use it for absolutely everything imaginable and are discovering new features daily.

Pros

does it all and is so easy to navigate. Families are very keen to use to communicate with us.

Cons

Imputing data can sometimes be challenging from a management perspective, but once the data is in it is worth all of the hard work.

I have only been using since December 2024. It was quick to learn and has very useful areas to connect with parents and staff in rooms. I have found that when I need information, the question area is quick and very responsive and my question is answered appropriately.

Easy to use, lots of great features. As a manager its easy to monitor staff, children, room activity, deal with enquiries, contact parents, add sleep times and checks, meal times etc. Lots of help available by

I think the EYFS journey platform could be a bit clearer. A tick list would be useful to monitor a childs progress and make sure we are completing all the areas properly

We’ve been using for about two months now anytime I’ve had an issue it’s been corrected quickly. Most of the issues I have had have been errors on my part which just not fully understanding yet. I like that when I have a question I can just pop it in the chat and someone’s gonna get back to me super quickly. Overall, it’s been a seamless transition from our old childcare management system to Famly

I absolutely love the ! Famly is very user friendly and makes imputing information easy! I like that parents can message me directly. All of the teachers Really enjoyed the newsfeed feature because they’re able to see when parents see something. So they know that what they’re doing is actually being seen.

Cons

The only thing that is kind of frustrating about the app is that within the app itself, I cannot preview invoices. And there’s also no option for me to select all staff or select all children when sending out an email. These are just little things that would make it easier, but are not taking away from the actual experience of the product.

Overall we have had a great experience the past year, we hope for a long and positive relationship.

Pros

The fresh layout and ease of use. Having everything in one place and the fact it is live and updated for everyone. The support is great, being able to use an online chat service to get any answers you need. Suggestions can be made and some are taken on board and implemented really quickly.

Cons

There are a few things we would like to change about the software that aren' t so easy for example the lists you can get are limited, the viewing is sometimes a bit awkward (not filling the page etc), it doesn't print very well. We'd also love to make it so if someone is trying tpo sign in and enter a pick up time later than their planned bookings, it throws up an error message.

My overall experience with the app has been fantastic. This app does everything I need it do for my daycare. I have meetings with a team member frequently. He is friendly and is always ready to help me with anything I am struggling with on my side. He listens when I have suggestions. He goes over any new updates and encourages me to use them in my daily routine.

Pros

How easy it is to interact with the platform. The customer service and the help center are great! I have found that really cares how their customers use their app to its fullest potential. I was given a team member from the beginning and he helps me so very much. He encourages me to use the app to its fullest potential. We have not had just one meeting but seveal and continue to have them to my benefit.

Cons

I would like to be able to have more access to some of the high tiered options.

From the initial Demonstration I really knew that this was the app for my daycare. The ease with which I found the app to be able to manage and navigate, I knew that my families appreciate this platform.

So far, my experience of the app has been good. I have had support and training on the app and i am confident that I can receive support very quickly from the helpdesk. We have had a few issues where information hasn't successfully saved to the app, but apart from this and the cons listed above the app is working well.

Pros

Overall, I am happy with the app. My favorite part of the app is the News feed. We have positive feedback from the parents about the app and that they find it easy to use.

Cons

I do feel that adding holidays and holiday discounts could be improved because this part of the app is very time consuming for me. I also think that the app could improve on their data protection. Children's full names are being shared on the news feed when parents are liking and commenting on posts. Children's full names, DOB, and sex are also being shown on the signing in and out sheets. We have had to create our own because we are unable to have this amount of information visible for parents. It would be helpful if there was a filter option so that we are able to choose what information we would like t include on these pages.

Pros

The daily diary is a game changer, very easy to stay in touch with parents. Very good now that the medication form is up and running. The new home screen is a very good update and makes it very easy to see at a glance how many staff and children are in, any medications and so on.

Cons

It would be a good idea for parents to be able to create a medication form, at least for non-prescribed medication

The features are better and there were more features. Writing observations was simpler, choosing the framework and choosing eyfs statements is fantastic, availability of the resources online is very good.

I love and the connection it brings between nurseries and parents. I love how easy it is to use and that I can see special moments in my child's life in a closed environment.

Pros

I like how easy it is for my child's nursery to update parents and other family members (eg grandparents) about their milestones and achievements.

Cons

Sometimes there are too many notifications, it would be great if the nursery could label certain notifications as "important" so I could choose to only receive notifications about them rather than everything.

easy to use and rate the company.So far I have not found using frustrating in anyway nor do I dislike any part of it. The Famly team are developing and updating the system regularly, not that this is a hindrance as the system does not shut down for updates, but they are adding further improvements. You can see that they are responding to how Famly is used with these updates to make it better. The Famly support team are in touch to ensure everything is going well, they also get in touch directly with the staff team asking questions which it seems is also informs how Famly is improved further.

Pros

is so easy to set up and use, very intuitive and so quick to work on. With the added bonus of the app I can now get access to all the information I need whenever and wherever I am. The settings allow for the staff to have the relevant access for their job role, this is great as there are so many functions other than invoicing which Famly can be used for, it really is a one stop shop for everything you need. The staff team love it and even those who would usually shy away from technology are happily getting involved. The parents are communicating much more often as it is so easy to send messages/photos back and forth. The parents are also finding the invoicing/payments overview very useful so they can manage their account easily, this contains all the information they need and again is simple to read so no explanation from me is necessary, this again saves so much time as previously I had to send regular breakdowns to parents. The support team at Famly are quick to respond and help resolve any issues. They are always on hand to ask questions and provide great training and support with the set up. But other than the odd glitch there have not been many questions or need for the training support as Famly really is very easy to use and work on. I am in no way an IT expert but Famly is so intuitive that you can easily and quickly do what you need whenever and wherever you need to, with so much time saved I am now able to focus on the jobs I never would of got to previously.

Easy to use Great operation system 5 out of 5 customer service Brilliant updates and problems by \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and the team

Cons

Nothing major at all the system is great and secure
