Sounds a little to good I know but the team they have do the utmost to help the front line service desk are professional the 2nd level support are approachable and knowledgeable which isn’t often the case with some companies. I get quick results and helpful guidance. Pros I’ve been working with this product for nearly 2 years and find the customisable nature very attractive. I’m breaking into using the dynamics nav extensions and this is opening up the whole application I would strongly agree with anyone interested in this product to get on board with extensions love it. Cons This is a little more difficult to answer. If I was being overly critical there are annoying differences between the full client and the web client which over time will get resolved I’m sure. I think we have a good relationship and understanding. Pros Visibility across the business, ease of reporting and time saved for all users. Versatility of the product combined with Jet Reporting has been a game changer for Argyle. Cons We've had some issues with the estimating side of the software, I don't think it is as intuitive as we would have liked. Reason for choosing 4PS Construct Eque2 would have been a more simple transition but the 4PS presentation was very good and looked to be more suited to us. Review Source MK MOHAMMED K. Pros What we like most about 4PS Construct is how well it is designed for construction businesses, rather than being a generic ERP adapted later. The end‑to‑end integration between pre‑construction, projects, finance, plant, and labour gives Colemans a single source of truth, reducing duplication and manual work. Its tight alignment with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central means we retain familiar tools while gaining construction‑specific controls. 4PS also supports strong cost control, auditable processes, and real‑time visibility across projects, which is essential for governance, commercial management, and informed decision‑making as the business scales. Cons What we liked least about 4PS Construct was the limited pace of development in some areas of the system. Certain features did not evolve as quickly as the business required, which reduced flexibility. Documentation could be clearer and more comprehensive, particularly for complex or less frequently used modules. Training materials and onboarding support could also be improved, as they were not always consistent or role‑specific. Better documentation and more structured training would improve user confidence, speed up adoption, and reduce reliance on external support. Review Source AA Antonella A. Pros That i can use this software like Excel. Cons When you get an update we need to give a lot permissions again to all my employees , Repots by posting date , i cant have a report by document date . Bank recs No life feeds ! And so on... Application Administrator Civil Engineering Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great all rounder" April 24, 2026 4.0 Overall the experience so far with 4PS as a whole, this includes the products itself and the 4PS support team has been very positive. The system is reliable and in case of issues occurring they can usually be resolved quite fast. Pros Very scalable, and allows us to manage a whole range of very different businesses and their wide variety of differing processes. Cons Generally, not too much to complain about. Because of the current architecture of 4PS & BC you can sometimes get issues with field inconsistencies or unexpected bugs when upgrading to new BC version. But it does sound that the future changes to 4PS where it will be module based could help this a lot. Review Source MS Michael S. Cons Updates - after each one we spend approx 3 days working through new permissions required. Sometimes, existing customisation gets wiped. No live connection to the bank. Not all functionality from standard BC is implemented in 4PS construct (eg pro-forma invoices). Support from 4PS is excellent and solutions either for problems or improvements/developments are always postitive. Pros Being built on a core MS product means there is wealth of inter-connectivity with other MS and M365 products. This solution covers a lot of the business needs. Pros It is quite user-friendly. It has become a very useful tool in our company. Enabling the us to have various subsidiaries on different modules, while still retaining a standardised data set and consistent information in each of the companies. Cons I would like for there to be more options to tailor the 4PS system. E.g to make it possible to upload more excel templates into it, instead of manually going in to add information in particular areas. Pros The system is customisable to better tailor to individual needs and covers most of our business processes. Cons The UI is dated. Not everyone that works in the construction industry builds houses and there are a lot of fields that relate to houses. Some features are not fully deployed throughout the whole system.
