### "Love Mydoma, hoping it continues to add features"

It has been a pleasure to see Mydoma grow and evolve and respond to our requests and suggestions.

Pros

The software is easy to use and the customer service is outstanding.

Cons

I would like more control in what and how details are displayed on client-facing pages and documents. Specifically, I would like to send invoices that itemize each item, but don't display individual prices, just the total cost. I would also LOVE to see an iOS app for the software. Viewing the site on a mobile device is clunky and can be quite frustrating. I would love to see the mood board improved. I currently also pay for Design Files software, and only use their mood board because it is far superior.

### "3D Photo Realistic Rendering "

Pros

The 3D photo realistic rendering is amazing! It’s the main reason for utilizing the software

Cons

The design board needs more features. I still have to use Canva and I dislike the extra step, I would like to be able to create beautiful design boards in MyDoma. Also, a feature to group the products together and download them grouped together to show the client.

### "Disappointed in upgrade"

The help desk tried to help me, but I had to move to another platform. I wanted to stay with Mydoma but I couldn't stay. I submitted several videos asking for improvement before I left.

I loved it in the past, now it is very difficult to use

Easy to implement and use for two primary reasons; 1. Designed to be very intuitive 2. Great customer service personnel. Their availability is very timely and their knowledge and patience is strong.

Pros

Strong functionality, intuitive use and great customer service at a reasonable price!

Cons

It would be very helpful if you could add a gannt chart to show graphically, "At A Glance", the status for all active projects. I can share a design if interested.

MyDoma functionality filled the specific gaps we needed addressed where several others replaced Quick Books (unnecessarily) and thereby added significant complexity. Great references/user base.

All of the design and client info is in one program and it is online.

Cons

Our clients have trouble navigating, it is slow and harder to use. All of the original features we used daily are non-existent.

I am probably not using it to its full potential,

Pros

Clipping items from the web and getting approval from clients to order is very easy, and the delivery to the client looks professional. Keeping those items organized is also much better than a spreadsheet.

Cons

The user interface is not super intuitive and a bit clunky.

I am a relatively new user and my learning is a work in progress.

Pros

What is truly outstanding is the ease of creating a truly beautiful Moodboard. Very easy to upload and and resize images and layer them. Very pleased with ability to create and use more than one design questionnaire. Am looking forward to using the Visualizer.

Cons

not sure yet about Client experience to review and comment on products. Seems a little labour intensive for client.

### "My Doma has helped to streamline my business"

My overall experience has been pleasant. There are some glitches, but not enough for me to not recommend the program. Customer support is great.

Pros

I like that it gives a professional image to my clients. I also like that everything is in one place for me to look at and I usually can get the information that I need without the client file.

Cons

I have some clients state that the writing is too small and I can't make the fonts bigger. I have also had some clients have trouble getting into the program.

It seemed the most streamlined. It also gave the look I was after for proposals, invoices, etc.

I think the value of this program is excellent. Customer service is prompt and easy to contact. While I use other programs in addition to this one, this program makes my smaller jobs really easy to propose, get approved by clients, and execute.

Pros

The software is very easy to set up and get started right away. I love the client interface and the overall look of the software on the back end as well. Layers of organization seem well thought out and are easy to navigate.

Cons

I feel there are still some things that could be better to make it a more comprehensive program. Seamless integration with Google calendars, better exporting features, more task oriented project management with gantt charts and reporting.

I didn't feel the others were as attractive, comprehensive, or easy to use / setup.

### "Game Changer"

Great experience so far. Realizing though that I still need some separate spreadsheets for more robust analysis/reporting. Some clients are having difficulty logging in since the new Mac OS update.

Pros

Love the product clipper/catalogue. The management of projects in one location together with invoicing and time tracking has been a game changer for me.

Cons

Not as robust on the finanical/reporting front as I'd like. Would like to be able to sort and tally based on type of hourly billing and based on product sales.

Pros

I love how easy this platform is to use. My team and I use it daily to help manage all the tasks we have for each of our projects. It is also easy for all of our clients to use. Overall, I LOVE Mydoma and it keeps me very organized. The technical support is AWESOME! They really understand the importance of getting all the details right and doing so in a timely fashion. Super quick response time!

Pros

I like that it is easy to use and keeps me super organized! It shows my clients that I am serious about managing their projects.

Cons

The only issue I have is that clients can not log in from their phones. They have to be on a desk top. I think this is something that is in the works to be updated though.

I chose Mydoma only intending to sample it as a favour to the owner, but I was hooked right away and have maintained my membership since day 1!

Great collaboration tool for our team.

Pros

Easy to use, and I love being out of the studio but still be able to pull up a client's project on my phone. Sometimes you need to share a product with someone, or show photos of the existing space to a vendor.

Cons

I wish that I could generate a shopping list for an entire project, that has multiple projects within it. I wish I could print out a moodboard so it looks like a real moodboard--currently it prints the company logo at the top, and also the company logo is in the middle of the board. Perhaps I'm missing how to do this.

### "Client Side Needs Improvement"

I'm willing to keep giving it a shot, but it needs to improve. I will have to sit with clients to walk them through it, instead of just sending them the link.

Pros

I like that the user side has many options, but the interface is clunky. It needs to be easier to view the most used parts of a project in one view.

Cons

Client interface has been poorly received. Everything about the client side should be an "at a glance" experience. They have to dig for information. On the user side, the views feature is good in theory, but it overly complicates the process.

Pros

The training. Being able to translate a floor plan in to a 3d image.

Cons

I have only taken advantage of the Visualizer. I feel like even after upgrading to a better resolution, the quality of the rendering is just ok. I also feel like the public and enterprise libraries could be more comprehensive. Could be more current finishes, fabrics.

I’m not really using mydoma. I just use it for the visualizer tool. I find it hard to use to make mood boards. The products don’t appear correctly.

Pros

I love the rendering software. (Visualizer)

Cons

I only switched to mydoma because of the Edesign tribe merger. I actually am not a huge fan of Mydoma. I preferred designfiles but since the merger I switched to mydoma.

Lifetime member of edesign tribe. The pricing for switching over is why I came to mydoma.

Pros

First - the support staff is amazing, accessible and friendly. Second: our clients & contractors have found the program to help then keep up-to-date on the project and communication. Third: the programers are open to new ideas to make the program easier to use. Mostly: we have become more organized with information to the clients and having one place for all of our emails is wonderful.

Cons

I don't like that you have to "click" off a page to make it go away. Not intuitive. Adding products is kind of a pain - you have to remember to scroll to the top to click "add product". We have lost information by not "saving". It would be nice to automatically save as a feature.

I haven't had the software that long but I mainly use it for the Visualizer for space planning and I love it! I haven't taken advantage of the other software features yet.

Cons

There are features in the visualizer that I think are missing. There could be more features like custom dimensions lines and labels. More options for saving images, etc.

### "Our top pick for sharing our designs with our clients! "

Pros

Our firm has jumped between a few different platforms lately to best communicate and propose items to our clients. We needed a strong interface that presents well in person, and allows us to email our clients a portal that they can use to move forward in the selection process of our designs. This is an all around great option for any design firm.

Cons

We would love for there to be an option in the future to directly import from our pinterest pages, and also a way to do multiple mood boards for a single space.
