Pros

Our trading partners integrate with it well, and it saves a lot of processing time.

Cons

The recurrence of a common error that hasn't been resolved yet. The support team is stretched very thin, but this is an issue that needs fixing with us.

Pros

SPS is Low cost, Very flexible, and Easy to use.

Cons

Lacks features within the web portal. For instance, you can't download more than 100 transactions at once. So if you are trying to download your transactions and upload them into your ERP, this is not the solution for you. Whereas, if you are using the connector to NetSuite (or any other ERP) SPS works as a great passthrough EDI Solution.

I believe the experience overall has been a positive one and we will continue to use it for our clients.

Pros

I have utilized the software with multiple clients and have found it to be very user friendly when training new associates.

Cons

I wish there was a way to mass invoice at one time. We ship direct to 1800 stores for one of our clients and we have to click to invoice each store versus being able to batch the work together and save time and labor.

Pros

SPS Commerce provided the services and attributes we needed to easily connect with our key customers. Customer service has been great with helping us work through questions (usually user error).

Cons

For a newbie getting started with EDI, it can be daunting. Some of the features are not completely intuitive, but can be worked through.

Chose SPS because of cost and the interface.

Pros

How easy it is to import orders into our shipping/order entry software

Cons

That we are not able to upload tracking for the ASN that goes to the customer. Doing it manually is time consuming and could be an issue when the holidays and sales increase the number of orders.

I have added new trading partners with ease and in a timely fashion. I work with SPS weekly and the software is very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. If ever and issue - you have the online chat or can call for assistance

No issues currently - have always been helpful

I would rank 8/10, the only negative is the confusion with POs that have items that are not available. I do not see a clear choice to tell the customert that this item is out of stock.

Pros

The ability to get POs, fulfill POs, get shipping documents, and invoice POs.

Cons

When an item is out of stock, I'm not 100% sure on how to "reject" or reply to the PO that item is out of stock with no date to get new merchandise in stock.

Pros

That it is user friendly and the customer service is always available. It is faster than most other systems we use

Cons

If an invoice is submitted we can not revise it, I understand the problem with that, but it would be nice to have a second chance.

Absolutely none. Just a hole in our wallet. There are no pros in dealing with this company. One of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Customer service is a dirty word to them.

Cons

Terrible at communication. Totally incompetent at EDI implementation. Canceled contract after 4 months of implementation and still no closer to EDI with our customers. Stay as far away from this company as you can.

I guess I like the tech support the best. You always get back to me. You may not answer with what I want to hear, but you do respond.

Cons

Your product does not with the same with all browsers. On some browsers it does not print or will not print multiple PO's.

Management have not made themselves available, account managers have not scheduled in phone calls but rather call unexpectedly and believe that is adequate support. There is no process for managing complaints.

Pros

Unfortunately, I do not have anything good to say.

Cons

The onboarding experience for small businesses is inadequate. The lack of 1:1 support, and the sending of hour long video tutorials is not reasonable or possible for small businesses. With 5 or less staff, the learning curve is too high.

Pros

It looks prettier than it did before. I don't like anything else about this program. I have nothing nice to put here.

Cons

It takes too long to load anything. There is no easy solution for any problem. You can't easily look at anything. You can't quickly load any page. You don't get solutions from customer service, you get an article to read that still doesn't solve the problem. Printing sometimes works correctly. It will randomly log you out even if you are using it currently.

was forced on to this product by vendor, vendor was aware of issues. does not work for our application, very expensive was misled by SPS sales staff. cannot ever get any type of support.

I only use SPS Commerce because one of our customers require we use it. For large companies needing a logistics system, I can see the benefit. But for small manufacturers, too cumbersome, time consuming, and costly.

Pros

It has a good order notification system.

Cons

Expensive for a small user, like us. Too many steps required to ship an order. If an order ships in multiple boxes, i.e. UPS or FedEx, it is very time consuming to enter all the required information.

Didn't, was required to purchase by customer.

I like the ease of the web based format. Entering most data is easy.

Cons

We send a lot of pick units - 48 boxes per pallet and 20 pallet orders. This creates a lot of work for the data entry folks. We must apply a unique identifier for each pick unit. That's 960 times someone must manually enter data.

I don't know how big SPS is, as a company, but it runs like a behemoth. Slow to respond. Complete disregard for customer needs. No urgency to assist with tech support. I'm not quite sure how they get such good reviews when they make little to no effort to resolve even the most minor issues. Wish we had chosen another EDI provider.

Pros

Sadly, not much. I liked the company that got purchased by SPS. They were quite good.

Cons

No customer service, long time to set up account/trading partners, months of billing before account is functional.

With SPS Commerce Fulfillment, we can import and export POs and invoice to QuickBooks automatically, which saves us a lot of time.

Cons

It's a little pricey and it takes nearly 3 months to set up everything. Customs service can not reply my email on time
