Now we are secure and providing better service to all our users and daily use internet and some time click on some sites they shouldn't. With Adguard I'm not worried about malware or that any annoying publicity appears on users PC from nowhere. I will strongly recommend this program to improve your navigation experience on a safety matter. Pros \- Has a very good GUI interface, friendly for any type of users at least from most common version. - Very good third support from other users that can help you with any option you are not able to find. - It works very well for multiple types of Website I feel really happy with this product, to be honest. Another problem is that it actually blocks certain sites from being functional. These are sites that provide a number of sub-sites that should not have been blocked. A whitelisting feature could probably eliminate this flaw, but this doe not appear to be available from Adguard. Pros Very good at blocking most ads and has is quite easy to use and set up. The statistical analysis showing ads, threats, and trackers is impressive. Cons Despite all its great functionality, it does have some flaws that I have found to be so annoying that it is making me look for other alternatives. The main flaw is that at times it actually freezes my computer requiring a restart. Nowadays, most of the browsers comes with tracking and privacy protection features. Firefox, Brave etc are known for their privacy centric features. But on Firefox, YouTube ads passes through anyway, but this is not the case with Brave. Adguard is like an additional layer of protection. Pros Adguard's most popular product is its ad blocker and it is one of the best application among other competitors. This product is popular because of its simple and minimal interface, availability across different devices and operating systems. It also has different browser extensions. It can block different types of ads including YouTube and Facebook ads. Apart from blocking ads, Adguard can help us stay away from tracking contents and phishing websites. The browser extension is just plug-and-play. You just add it to your browser, that's it. Adguard will start doing its job immediately without any additional configuration. There are also some additional settings where you can define your own blocking rules, block a particular element in the webpage, stealth mode etc. for more advanced usage. The native application versions available for Windows, Mac etc has even more advanced features. You can block non browser ads as well. Everything feels premium - their interface, website, graphics etc. Cons For this application to work, we need to give them permission to read the websites we visit, which is necessary for the working of this application. But it causes a privacy concern anyway. Another thing is, it occasionally falsely blocks some necessary pop-up windows. This can be rectified by disabling Adguard for that particular website. I literally removed all pop up and ad blockers and just use adguard. Pros Adguard is literally the best for pop ups and ads. Its not intrusive and sits in the background. You literally dont notice the amount of ads out there until you start using it. I have refreshed a page with it turned off and the websites start loading all kinds of ads. If you want a safer experience online, its the way to go. Cons Sometimes Adguard causes issues with certain website where pop ups are required. As Adguard blocks ads and pop ups, it causes and issue. Simply turning it off and refreshing the site fixes the issue. Its not a daily thing but it does happen from time to time. Pros AdGuard does a great job of protecting you on three fronts: blocking most ads (popups and embedded ads), most trackers and most malicious websites. It manages to do this in a much more unobtrusive way than many other similar apps, programs and browser extensions I've tried. It's drop-dead easy to add exceptions, and easy to turn it off temporarily if you run into a specific issue on a site you trust. Their flexibility with license keys being transferable and usable on any device is almost never seen in the IT world. The real time logging and debugging feature is also fantastic for troubleshooting specific problems. Cons On Android the setup has a few options, but one is setting it up as a VPN. It works excellent and it's not a true VPN, but it looks like it to the phone. With the current state of Android you can't have more than 1 VPN active. Außerdem ist in der Kostenpflichtigen Version möglich unerwünschte Webseiten ganz einfach und zuverlässig zu Sperren. Eine Software die so so zuverlässig jegliche Art von nerviger und unerwünschter Werbung blockiert findet man wirklich selten. Auch der eingebaute Tracking Schutz funktioniert sehr gut. Cons Adguard is not integrated well on an android phone if the user is already using a VPN as it won't allow both the VPN and adguard to run simultaneously.
