Cons

It takes awhile to learn to navigate all the features this product offers, the interface could be polished up a bit.

Pros

It's super easy to use and downloads all the info. from my ecommerce site to populate the labels with addresses and it also brings over all the product info!

Cons

I can't really think of any cons right now. Since I'm new to shipping software in general, thus far this has been the best solution for us! I guess it would be cool if we could customize our label to have our logo on it...

It's easier to fill out than any other online shipping and has the combined packaging options of all of them. I've never made a mistake using ShipStation and the price is the best on the market.

Pros

The copy and paste address feature lets you copy and paste the shipping address and the website fills in the blanks properly. No more mistaken addresses because of typos!

Cons

I love everything about it. Haven't found a con yet!

\- SO easy to understand and use, very intuitive - Takes care of every part of the shipping process - Integrates with pretty much everyone and everything you would want it to

Cons

\- Occassionally we have had issues with order imports with fields having limitations on characters. The character limits they have in place seem pretty arbitrary - Is not compatible with Amazon Custom (can't import custom information)

Pros

Optimized user interface. Setting up is very easy. Customer service for the higher tier is great and can fix issues as needed. Updates often except during the peak seasons. Has a forum for possible new fixes to add new features to the software.

Cons

Customer service is not 24 hours. A new update comes to the software and changes the flow of work for everyone not just for one company. Limited functions for scanning at the time i started using it.

Great that we're able to sync all our WooCommerce stores to ShipStation. We handle both bulk and individual orders, Shipstation is quite flexible in handling both.

Cons

The shipping cost calculator could be improved.

So far it has been ok. If they can fix the search button and add customer support then it would be much better.

Pros

Paypal signed me up to use ship station through the portal. It was very easy to get it started. So far it has been easy and have had zero issues.

Cons

I dont like how there is no customer support to call when having an issue. A big flaw for me is not being able to search for a shipment by name. I have to scroll through all the pages to find anything.

I have run a small online business where I manufacture and sell the products for 4 years now and am very prone to efficiency. One thing that I noticed and did not like was that just shipping orders would take almost as long as product production itself. From copying and pasting addresses to bouncing from on selling avenue to another is both time consuming and somewhat confusing when delagating the task to others that are stepping from their normal tasks to help pick up the slack. Moving to Ship Station was one of those game changing moments for my business! I cannot imagine a better system for getting the right information in the right place to increase productivity and ease of use. That free'd up time and mental load has made it possible to invest more in areas that can increase growth rather than just maintaining. During the free trial I told a friend of mine that also produces and sells online "I don't care what this costs, it is worth it just in how much time it frees up". Luckily, the company does not seem to be greedy(which is a real problem these days) and for $25 a month I am saving hours upon hours in time an headache.

Pros

Easy to use Consolidated sales information Fast access to important information for getting the right items to the right people

Cons

None really. If anything, maybe more options for international shipments.

Having a centralized shipment flow makes it easy to create shipments or quotes, bulk shipments and labels as well as tracking ins and outs. Perfect experience!

Pros

Having all shipping and courier carriers aggregated in one place makes it easier for us to use the right one at the right time, therefore saving on cost and time.

Cons

Occasionally, we have a hard time getting through our point of contact over at ShipStation but overall, there is really no major cons using them.

Pros

ShipStation is easy to use, and can support multiple carriers if you use more then one. I love the chat option to get quick answers. Before ShipStation, it took us one business day to create the shipments, now were down to a few hours.

Cons

I know its against your user agreement, however the only reason I would change ShipStation for a similar program is because at the volume of orders we create per day, I would like to add our carriers and have shipstation have an algorithm that can be created by a rule, that would automatically select the carrier with the cheapest rates per order.

Pros

Shipstation listens to their users and puts every feature you could ever need in their software. It has the most features, the most integrations and has the fastest workflow. We use it for eBay, Amazon, Reverb, Big Commerce, etc. If we were to change to a different website platform, it would be easy because Shipstation most likely integrates with them too. It also integrates with QuickBooks through a third party app. It works very well and keeps us accurate. The Shipstation Package Insurance works well and we have been paid on time for lost packages.

Cons

We would like to see more competitive pricing for USPS. eBay has far better shipping rates specifically for large packages and International Shipments. We want to ship all shipments through Shipstation.

\- different pricing for different subscription levels based on our volumes, and we can change the level as needed - awesome! - easy to use and set up - we had a very short window to implement and start using and ShipStation came to the rescue. customer service was excellent. - fairly robust features that we can start utilizing more as we grow - free trial was a huge reason we made the final decision to implement

Cons

\- at our sub level we have a one user limit - that's a bummer, but we are easily dealing with it - didn't advertise the monthly option for less than 50 orders - that would have been nice to know a year ago - we had some bumps implementing some of the international services

Pros

I love the ability to get a snapshot overview of our sales, frequency in shipping and so much more. I also love the fact that we can pull real-time reporting that we can export and do whatever we need to with the information that is pulled. We would be so lost without ShipStation!

Cons

I wish I didn't have to continually update the dashboard to check and see if a new order has come in. I feel that this is too manual. I think we should receive some sort of desktop alert or app notification of a new order. While I did appreciate the live chat feature, I also feel that ShipStation should have a general phone number so that if a customer wanted to, they could speak with a representative.

Our company sells product across 3 different platforms and as we rapidly grew we needed a central place to process shipments so that we didn't miss any and didn't have to check multiple websites every day. In addition, we would often ship with different carriers based on location and pricing. Shipstation provide a quick and easy solution to meet our needs! We were able to integrate it right away with an onboard specialist who walked us through. It's extremely intuitive and user-friendly and has allowed us to speed up our ship times while cutting down on the amount of work our office staff has to do to process the order. We love this product!

Pros

Very user-friendly. Can easily select different carriers to check pricing. Integrates with multiple platforms like amazon and etsy.

Cons

It's hard to print multiple tickets for the same shipment without processing individually.

Pros

Love the ability for it to be integrated with my Squarespace website and print shipping labels for sales that come in.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve in making sure the mail dimensions match the products you are selling. Also don't like that you have to "load" the account versus deducting as shipments come in.

Shipping Station does a great job of importing orders from all the major selling platforms. Our major site that we sell thru is ebay and ship station does work great with it. It is easy to import all our orders and then easy to send out the shipment notifications to our customers and to ebay so we can retain our top rated seller status. The shipping software is web based, and can get clunky or stuck in some various web browsers such as safari and IE, but that happens to a lot of software. I like how we can divide up our shipments to different employees or shipping terminals. This allows us to control who does what and we can get feedback on shipments via who did those. Overall a great platform to do your shipping from. Easy to setup your fedex account in as well. It is a little pricey if you are going to use it for several years. (our plan cost $45 a month). That means a year we will be over $500 for this software. We find that the ease and control we have helps offset this cost.

Pros

Good easy to use and learn web based software platform for shipping. Tech support is amazing and fast to respond when you do need help. No major training needed to get going. Just import your orders and go!

Cons

Kind of pricey but if it saves you time and keeps you organized then it is worth it.

Overall it is one of the best decision I made. I would be unable to keep up with order flow without it. I used it every day and it is 10 times better than the program we were using previously (ShipRush)

Pros

This software brings all of our marketplaces together. Magento, Amazon, and we can even import our phone orders via CSV upload. It has everything you could possibly need to compare different shipping services and save money and time.

Cons

If I had to pick something that I liked the least it would be the search functionality. Many times I'll have to do an advanced search to find something that won't pop up but should through the general search.

We use ship station to ship out about 5 to 15 orders per week, we have it linked to our UPS account and to USPS via their stamps.com connection. It definitely helps save time comparing services and keeping track of our shipping costs.

Pros

\-save time comparing services (UPS vs USPS vs FedEx, etc.) -great USPS rates -integration with our e-commerce site was pretty straightforward -good for shipping bulk orders (we rarely do this, though) -pays for itself quickly every month with USPS rate savings

Cons

\-the interface is not the most intuitive/slightly complicated (but works for the many many features of the app) -wish you didn't have to refill your account for payments under $10. Would be better if it just directly charged us for each order even if it's under $10. This complicates our accounting and seems unnecessary. -customer service is not as responsive as they could be
