Cons Not close to an ATS at this point. Betterteam needs to build out some rudimentary features such as editable e-mail templates, recruiting workflows, and hiring team collaboration to even be considered an ATS. Right now it's fine if you're using a spreadsheet to track candidate process for a limited number of open roles. " February 21, 2023 3.0 The job posting is easy, the candidate ranking is simple and easy. I am frustrated with their changing my post without my agreement. When asked, they don't know what was changed. Pros It is simple to create a simple job posting. Cons Betterteam actively changes your job posting and title. They do not notify you of the changes, nor what they changed. Several times, I have noticed the changes. For us, these changes become a legal and manpower effort issue. I have asked them not to make changes without our permission or knowledge. But they continue. No integration to a ATS, must manually download text data. My company gets funding quarterly and betterteam only offered monthly, 6 month and year options. I wrote them with a request to be billed quarterly and had no issues getting a quarterly rate better than the monthly. Pros You only have to make one job post and the software post on all the different job boards. It saves so much time only having to post on one platform. Cons I use a separate CRM to manage all of my leads so I can assign new applicants to recruiters. Although betterteam allows you to disposition applicants on the software. I really want the option to get a running spreadsheet of new application from all posted jobs. You can only get csv files from on job post at a time. " November 7, 2022 5.0 Pros It was a one-click away type of software wherein I don't need to be subscribed to a lot of job portals since all I need is to be subscribed in Betterteam. User interface was also easy to adapt into and I was always notified of any new applicant that has passed their resume/CV via email. Another thing that I appreciate was the leads I got! They were more or less qualified for the role but I had to get someone who was close to our area. Other than that, they all had good skills set and experience. Cons 1) I wish that we could manually set the area where we would want to hire candidates. 2) I also wish to integrate the progress I have made in the software to my Gmail account where I mostly email the candidates on the what they should do on the next step on the pipeline. 3) If it is feasible, a "prepaid" option would also be appreciated instead of a monthly/annual subscription. Pros You get not only a simple, easy to use interface and dashboard but the applications are emailed as well. I like that you can easily Like or Dislike and go on to the next resume. Cons I'd like to see the ability to rank your "Liked" applications as well. I noticed that my job post was edited and I would like to have been able to approve the edits before posted. There were a few applicants whose resumes didn't post, I don't know if that was the applicants error or the software. It is sad though that so many applicants have poor writing and grammar skills. Most seemed to think a cover letter is a waste of time I guess. A competent potential employee should use this opportunity to introduce themselves to the prospective employer. This is critical in my opinion. Pros Sending to several tables Ease of use, it is very simple you get a lot of answers because the ad goes to several places. You can add easily. More applicants are obtained. Very good that you email the resumes directly, makes the applicants easier to follow and organize. Cons None in the tests I do, I still do not have any complaints.
