It was a refreshing change from other formats. Pros I enjoyed receiving qualified applicants versus applicants who were just applying to any job without reading the requirements. Most of the candidates we received were qualified and some even over qualified for the position. They all had researched our company before the phone interviews and new what we were looking for. Cons Would love it if there was a pay as you need option. As we do not always need to hire people but when we do it is nice to know we can pay for the time we need it for instead of monthly or yearly subscriptions. Review Source TS Troy S. Reaching to candidates in remote locations, to fulfill special hiring needs. Makes the job done, easy. Once you publish your job post, you just need to focus on your real work of interviewing candidates. You don't need to learn multiple systems to publish to different websites. Cons At the time of my first job post, I felt a bit not so straightforward (at least for me) how to customize the look of the job post, I needed some testing, but then it worked fine (it is why I left 4 out of 5 stars for "Ease of Use") . It is a tool without many frills, and makes the job done (could look a bit "spartan" per se, but again it is really designed for what it does. Review Source SK Samuel K. I Signed up for Betterteam's free trail at the end of the day Friday before going home. I came back into the office on Monday to find 14 applications and by the end of the day that number had hit 20 applicants. Very much worth while. Pros It was self explanatory. Very easy to use! Cons Didn't find this software sooner. If we had we would have started long ago. Reason for choosing Betterteam Because i got false advertising through other companies that didn't bring me any applicants. It made posting our job easy, the customer service at Betterteam is outstanding and very helpful, and it took a lot of stress of our hiring team. We received many applicants that came right to our email. We were able to find the right candidate for two jobs. We could not have done it with out Betterteam! Thank you! Pros Staff was super friendly and helpful. Posting the jobs was easy and well displayed. We received many candidates for the jobs listed. Thank You!!!! Pros The over all quality of candidates is unmatched. I've used the big competitors and cancelled all memberships after using this group...I did the free-trial expecting a big drop-off in service once I signed up. That is not the case, the resumes except coming!!! Cons We are a small company and only needed to post for 1 position. However, to get the service we needed, we went with 3 job posting subscription. The overall cost was not bad even though we only need 1 posting. May 8, 2018 5.0 Was able to hire a great candidate much more quickly than if I had to manage multiple job boards myself. Pros We needed to fill one position, so I used the one-week free trial. The interface was slick and easy. We got about 100 applications for an admin/bookkeeper position within a week. The applications were of varying quality, but that's nothing to do with Betterteam -- that's just the "click to apply" world we live in now. (About a tenth of the applicants bothered to write a cover letter -- come on people!) We were able to fill the position with a great candidate without going to a paid version, but next time we need to hire someone I'll definitely go back to Betterteam -- hopefully we'll start growing enough that we need the paid service! Cons I wanted to see which job site the applications came from, but I believe that feature is only available on the free plan. Just 3 days wasted when I was hoping for the best. Pros I liked the concept. Input a job description and it should be posted on over 100 job boards. This sounds actually too good to be true... Cons My job posting was delayed/denied because in the questionnaire it asks if you're hiring for your own company OR for a client company. If you choose client company, you are required to get permission prior to getting your ad posted. If I was to get approval, my client company could just cut me out and I'm out of business. So, no...this is not good. " August 16, 2018 5.0 I had no issues trying to post our position and love that the position gets posted to multiple free websites without having to post them ourselves. We received a lot of incoming resumes and great candidates to choose from. Within a few days, we had good quality candidates lined up to interview and quickly provided one with an offer who accepted. This was great for someone like me who works for a small company and needs a quick turn around for a lower cost than posting elsewhere. Since I don’t need to continue looking for a candidate I will not be using the system at the moment, but will definitely be back to use Betterteam when we have an opening in the future. I WILL be back to use it again! I’d never heard of Betterteam before, but glad I found them when researching online! Thank you! Pros The system is super easy to use! I was able to load my job description with no problems at all. You can also change the color if you like! I enjoyed the colors the software defaulted to, because it actually matched our company colors best. This leads to my second pro... I loved the clean, crisp look. The colors went with our company and I thought it looked very nice and professional. Cons I do not have any complaints, since I have only used the system for one posting and all went well.
