The team is great to work with and the tool is very easy to use. I am still learning certain aspects and innerworkings of the system with 2025 being the first full year on the new tool. We also had a change in organization structure this year and the person that did most of the system setup has moved on to another position leaving a bit of a knowledge gap. With me now being the main point person for leases, this has given me the opportunity to spend a lot of time this year learning more of the tool. With the help of the Spacebase team, this transition has been much smoother. Pros The tool is very user friendly, reports have been working well, and the customer support has been great! The Spacebase team is always very open and timely in addressing any requests or updates we have. Cons \-It is sometimes difficult to understand why certain entries are being done through the system and we sometimes have to do manual JVs to correct. However, some of this could be specific to the airline industry and not all a Spacebase issue. -It would also be helpful to have report writer access to create custom reports, but the team has been very helpful in creating new reports as needed. -When system updates are made, it would also be helpful to get notices as these are happening so we know if they impact anything that we are doing. -I am not sure if this is possible, but would be helpful if there was a way to do batch modifications or additions. There are a lot of screens to go through for each addition or modification so if there is any way to simplify this in high volume months, would be something to look at. Possible where it can scan a contract in pinpoint key data and allow you to set parameters. Abstraction team is thorough. Account management team is very helpful and there for you if you have any questions! Pros No fluff, easy to use lease administration. Clean UI means its easy to find exactly what you are looking for with few clicks. I really love the lease abstraction service that the team offers (paid). It helps take some of the busy work off my plate and then I can spend my time reviewing those abstractions vs. pulling out all of the data. Cons Nothing noteworthy comes to mind. I've utilized Spacebase at the past two companies with overwhelming success. Their team is really quick to respond if/when you have feedback or questions, so I know I can count on them to help me out if I get in a pinch. My Boss, the \[sensitive content hidden\], has a login but never really uses the tool. When a question about Real Estate comes up during a call, I can easily login to the tool, look up a location and read the Lease; I can get the answer during the conversation and share with my Boss who can bring it up in the conversation. Spacebase is intuitive, informative and offers quick and easy access to A LOT of information. Pros Ease of use! I was given a login to Spacebase a couple of years ago -- as I manage Insurance for my Company. No one tought me how to use the tool -- I was able to login and find exactly what I needed. Cons That I didn't have access to Spacebase sooner! As soon as I got a login to the tool, I was able to use it. Pros 1) Simple user interface and very easy to use! 2) The team are great and can help if we have any issues and are super responsive. Cons 1) I wish that the Spacebase team kept an automatic refreshed Sandbox dev environment for us to help test accounting scenarios on. They do have a sandbox and can update it easily when we reach out to ask, however having this be automated and refreshed weekly would be fantastic. Corporate Controller Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Spacebase has been a gamechanger, especially on the accounting and reporting side" July 21, 2025 5.0 We had all of our lease accounting in excel, and we had a very tough time parsing the lease agreements and amendments before Spacebase. Now that we have Spacebase, the extraction team helps us to determine any commencement, escalation, and termination dates in a concrete and understandable way. We had a much more manual process before that left many of the dates open to interpretation and could result in wild swings in our accounting entries. Pros The best part about Spacebase for me is the Accounting Module. It has simplified and made our ASC 842 monthly, quarterly and annual lease accounting processes much more seamless. Cons Spacebase has some limitations in terms of importing historical data and reflecting modifications from an accounting module perspective. I'd like to see Spacebase be a bit more flexible in terms of updates, historical data, and modifications for accounting and reporting. Pros Lease management system. Spacebase has been very useful for managing our company’s office leases. I can easily track lease terms, monitor payments, and generate consolidated reports for multiple offices. The platform centralizes all lease documentation, which saves a lot of time and reduces errors. Cons It would be helpful if reporting could be slightly more customizable, but overall, it’s a reliable tool that I would recommend to other teams managing multiple leases. I'm using Spacebase API for past 3 years for our company data needs with respect to cost and lease term and felt very comfortable in terms of using API and the data it provides . Cons not much . It is pretty good for what I need. With respect to API , I would have preferred to have backdated info API calls as well . It is quite straightforward to use, but it could have more functionalities and personalisation to improve the experience.
