I do believe it was good value for money, we cross-quoted with other apps that were far more complicated or less intuitive and definitely more expensive. Pros We used LineUPR to design our conference website and found it very easy to use. The platform is very intuitive, with clear navigation and a logical structure that makes it easy to find everything. We were able to customise the site to match our brand style and create a professional look. We loved how the information is connected across the platform, linking sponsors to speakers and the agenda. This was the first year we had a digital brochure and we were very happy with the result. Delegates found it easy to use too. We would highly recommend it. Phillipe assisted me at all times and was super fast. Pros I liked that it could be customized with the company's logos/colors and that surveys could be conducted with attendees. Cons I didn't like that each "improvement" meant an increase in cost. The issue of prices for each thing seemed unclear to me. March 18, 2025 5.0 We used LineUpr for the London Business School Women in Business Club’s EQUALL Conference this March, and it was such a great experience. The platform was super easy to use—we were able to set up our own app for the conference without any issues. We got a lot of positive feedback on the day from people saying how much they loved the app and how it made the conference feel super smooth and organized. Overall, LineUpr made a big difference for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a conference or event. Pros A few features really stood out for us. The ticketing system made it easy for attendees to book workshops in advance, which helped a ton with managing capacity. We also loved the push notifications! Cons I loved the notifications feature but unfortunately there wasn't a way to schedule the notifications ahead of time so even though I had previously written them I had to keep my laptop on me to release them at the appropriate time. Pros i really love the simplicity of the app, it is designed for ease of use, even for users who arent tech savy. Also, LinUpr is relatively affordable compared to similar platforms, especially for smaller events. i love the fact that event organizers can send updates and notifications ensuring that the attendees stay informed. the app enables the event participants to interact with the event schedule, speakers, sponsors which enhances overall engagement Cons the app has limited features on free plan. i will really be glad if the developers improve on the intergrations with third party tools and platforms. It does everything it promises. If only it would not have the escalating price tag when you have visitors above 500 Pros We are a small festival run by volunteers, but we have 14 venues open on a one day festival. Getting a schedule, location overview, communicating with your visitors, it is what you want, but what takes ages to set up manually, or on your website. Lineupr is tailored for this: you fill in your data and boom, there's a webapp. It is standardized enough for everyone to understand, but it has enough flexibility to make it 'your own' with simple color options and branding placement. And all this without installing a new app, something that for a small festival like ours is a threshold. So ja, it is really perfect. Cons The pricing is a bit confusing. It seems that you pay for attendees, but actually you're paying for accessed unique visitors. So if you're a bigger festival, something like TMSQR could be a good alternative with a fixed price. Die Umstellung war erst einmal nicht ohne... ging dann aber doch schnell von der Hand. Primärer Grund war damals die Nutzung einer online-App-Lösung. Da viele Teilnehmer (Mediziner) nicht bereit waren, sich eine App runterzuladen, nur weil sie bei einer meiner Veranstaltungen teilgenommen haben. Das klappte allgemein auch ganz gut. Herausforderung war meistens leider die "Aktualisierung" der Inhalte, was aber Device-abhängig ist. Sprich manche bekamen die Updates in der App sofort durchgestellt, manche erst deutlich später (ggf. durch Datensparmodus o.ä.) Pros LineUPr ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Man findet sich schnell zurecht und hat das setup in kurzer Zeit verinnerlicht. Der Support hat immer schnell reagiert und sogar Umsetzungen von Wünschen (bei mir ging es um die Voting-Funktionen) umgehend umgesetzt. Der Zugang für die Teilnehmer der Events erfolgt eher "schwellenfrei", sprich ohne Installation oder Rücksicht auf die verwendete Software des Device (IOS, Android...) Cons Sehe ich derzeit kaum. Push war bei mir ein Thema, was aber mittlerweile m.E. gelöst ist. Und sonstige Änderungswünsche wurden schnell angegangen oder begründet erst einmal zurückgestellt. Das Serviceteam war ausgezeichnet. Pros Die Anwendung überzeugt durch ihre Flexibilität. Sowohl in der User Experience der App für Endnutzer als auch in der Bearbeitung im Backend. Alles wirkt sehr intuitiv und eindeutig. Man kann sie wunderbar ans Veranstaltungsdesign anpassen und erhält somit eine individuelle App. Cons Ich hätte mir mehr Flexibilität bei den Zusatzfunktionen gewünscht, um nicht gleich das volle Upgrade buchen zu müssen. Besonders die Messaging-Funktion für Teilnehmende wäre als Einzeloption ideal gewesen. Letztlich haben wir das Upgrade dennoch durchgeführt, da dieses Feature wirklich praktisch ist und es den Teilnehmenden ermöglichte, sich ohne Austausch von Nummern oder mühsame E-Mail-Suche für die Pausen zu verabreden. Für die Veranstaltung nutzten wir diverse Locations in der Stadt, weshalb die App sehr nützlich bei der Orientierung zwischen den Locations war. Außerdem konnten die TN über die Profile bereits vor der Veranstaltung sehen, wer noch dabei ist und sich untereinander vernetzen. Wir konnten die involvierten Akteure im „Lineup“ vorstellen. Da einzelne Programmpunkte nur für eine limitierte Anzahl an TN offen waren, nutzten wir das o.g. Add-On. Insgesamt war die Nutzung der App für unsere Veranstaltung eine große Bereicherung – sowohl aus der Sicht der TN als auch für das Organisationsteam. Farbskala, Logo) -Nachrichten Funktion war insbes. während des Events sehr hilfreich, z.B. für Infos zum nächsten Programmpunkt Cons \-Bei der Funktion für die Anmeldung zu einzelnen Programmpunkten, gab es für die TN keine Übersicht der „gebuchten“ Programmpunkte – bei manchen TN war die Anmeldung schon eine Weile her und sie wussten nicht mehr, wofür sie sich angemeldet hatten -Bei der Export-Funktion (in Excel) für die Programmregistrierung ist aufgrund Unklarer Bezeichnung nicht direkt ersichtlich, welches Excel-Tab sich auf welchen Programmpunkt bezieht. Es war deshalb aufwendig, die TN-Liste für einen bestimmten Programmpunkt ausfindig zu machen. -Es wäre für uns vorteilhafter gewesen, wenn die TN bei der allerersten Anmeldung in der App zunächst alle verpflichtend das TN-Profil befüllen hätten müssen. Pros Intuitive Benutzeroberfläche, die schnell gelernt ist und auch Laien befähigt, schnell Änderungen im Backend einzupflegen. Außerdem ist es wirklich wahnsinnig von Vorteil, dass kein wirklicher Download einer App notwendig ist. The customer service was very easy to work with and offered simple solutions. They went out of their way to provide us with what we needed. Pros The setup of this app was very easy. The support team answered questions in a timely manner. We were able to put in our trip's itinerary so that all of our attendees were able to see what events were happening each day as well as times and descriptions. The app was easy to navigate so that even our youngest users were able to find all of the information they needed quickly and easily. Cons Coming from a European company all of the times were based on the 24 hour clock when all of our users are used to a 12 hour clock. It would be nice to see that added in the future. I also would have liked to be able to link pdf files into different parts of the app rather than retyping everything. Users had a slight difficulty downloading the app because it wasn't found in the app store like they were used to. Save your time, effort and money, and use an existing app, instead of developing it by your own. So it is an easy solution and an asset, which you need to have these days on conferences to be professional. Cons We had some special adjustments, which were not possible. May 20, 2019 5.0 I recommend this application to all people who are planning a big or small event. We especially liked the function to publish an unmanageable program. Good support and a stable platform! Pros What I liked best was the simplicity of entering data and editing it. The modern and appealing design fit wonderfully! The possibility to get feedback for the people and to launch surveys was great and very easy to integrate. The possibility to plan and publish contributions live and in advance is great. Cons Unfortunately LineUpr does not allow a large number of modifiable contents. Contributions cannot be planned. The dashboard was only accessible via desktop - not very useful for a flexible use live at the event. Unfortunately no program points can be published without end. It was not possible to integrate program items into a superordinate program item. Working with categories is necessary. LineUpr helped us visualize the session board online for everyone to easily access it on their mobile phone. The event had 4 different session lanes, so the bookmark feature came in quite handy. I would definitely consider using LineUpr again for an event. Pros It was extremely easy to set up the event . It is quite user-friendly and has many useful functionalities for event management such as providing location maps, sending out surveys and posts and letting the participants put bookmarks into the schedule. I liked that the changes made during the event came immediately into effect. I also like that it's simply a mobile friendly website and people do not have to download and install an app. Cons There wasn't really anything I disliked. When adjusting the settings for your event (poetry-slam festival in our case) you almost always find what you are searching for in a few seconds. Being able to reach all attendees through their smartphones in an easy way is something you don´t want to miss again after trying it out.
