March 18, 2025 5.0 We used LineUpr for the London Business School Women in Business Club’s EQUALL Conference this March, and it was such a great experience. The platform was super easy to use—we were able to set up our own app for the conference without any issues. We got a lot of positive feedback on the day from people saying how much they loved the app and how it made the conference feel super smooth and organized. Overall, LineUpr made a big difference for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a conference or event. Pros A few features really stood out for us. The ticketing system made it easy for attendees to book workshops in advance, which helped a ton with managing capacity. We also loved the push notifications! It was a great way to keep everyone informed throughout the day—whether it was telling people where to go for lunch, reminding them to sign up for workshops, or letting them know when to come back from coffee breaks. Cons I loved the notifications feature but unfortunately there wasn't a way to schedule the notifications ahead of time so even though I had previously written them I had to keep my laptop on me to release them at the appropriate time. Phillipe assisted me at all times and was super fast. Pros I liked that it could be customized with the company's logos/colors and that surveys could be conducted with attendees. Cons I didn't like that each "improvement" meant an increase in cost. The issue of prices for each thing seemed unclear to me. Pros i really love the simplicity of the app, it is designed for ease of use, even for users who arent tech savy. Also, LinUpr is relatively affordable compared to similar platforms, especially for smaller events. i love the fact that event organizers can send updates and notifications ensuring that the attendees stay informed. the app enables the event participants to interact with the event schedule, speakers, sponsors which enhances overall engagement Cons the app has limited features on free plan. i will really be glad if the developers improve on the intergrations with third party tools and platforms. It does everything it promises. If only it would not have the escalating price tag when you have visitors above 500 Pros We are a small festival run by volunteers, but we have 14 venues open on a one day festival. Getting a schedule, location overview, communicating with your visitors, it is what you want, but what takes ages to set up manually, or on your website. Lineupr is tailored for this: you fill in your data and boom, there's a webapp. It is standardized enough for everyone to understand, but it has enough flexibility to make it 'your own' with simple color options and branding placement. And all this without installing a new app, something that for a small festival like ours is a threshold. So ja, it is really perfect. Cons The pricing is a bit confusing. It seems that you pay for attendees, but actually you're paying for accessed unique visitors. So if you're a bigger festival, something like TMSQR could be a good alternative with a fixed price. Das Serviceteam war ausgezeichnet. Pros Die Anwendung überzeugt durch ihre Flexibilität. Sowohl in der User Experience der App für Endnutzer als auch in der Bearbeitung im Backend. Alles wirkt sehr intuitiv und eindeutig. Man kann sie wunderbar ans Veranstaltungsdesign anpassen und erhält somit eine individuelle App. Cons Ich hätte mir mehr Flexibilität bei den Zusatzfunktionen gewünscht, um nicht gleich das volle Upgrade buchen zu müssen. Besonders die Messaging-Funktion für Teilnehmende wäre als Einzeloption ideal gewesen. Letztlich haben wir das Upgrade dennoch durchgeführt, da dieses Feature wirklich praktisch ist und es den Teilnehmenden ermöglichte, sich ohne Austausch von Nummern oder mühsame E-Mail-Suche für die Pausen zu verabreden. Nachträgliche Änderungen waren so nicht möglich. Das DinA4 Format konnte im Smartphone nur mit hin und herschieben gelesen werden. Die linupr App unterstützt Smartphones ideal und ebenso nachträgliche Änderungen an der Veranstaltungs-Agenda. Pros Dass die Agenda jederzeit geändert werden kann, auch wenn sie schon per mail verteilt ist. Und dass ich Bilder der Referenten einbauen kann. Cons Wenn sich in der Agenda ein Vortrag verschiebt oder verlängert, müssen alle folgenden Vorträge manuell verschoben werden. Das würde ich mir automatisiert wünschen. Wenn ich eine alte Veranstaltung als neue kopiere, muss ich bei jedem Vortrag das Datum manuell anpassen, das wünsche ich mir auch automatisiert. Für meine Zwetägigen Veranstaltungen wünsche ich mir eine Gesamtansicht der Agenda, in der beide Tage auf einen Bildschirm passen. Wir verwendeten die LineUpr-App, um unser Festival-Programm zu kommunizieren. Fünf Tage lang nutzten 30 000 Menschen dieses Angebot. Auch die Presse, die über unser Festival berichtete, hob die Festivalkommunikation mittels LineUpr-App lobend hervor. Ein großes Plus sind die Push-Nachrichten, die sich im Vorhinein einstellen und abspeichern lassen. Ebenso gut ist die Interaktivität. Die Gäste konnten Veranstaltungen abspeichern und Künstler\*innen mit einem Herz markieren. So ließ sich im Vorhinein einschätzen, wie beliebt das Konzert werden würde. Da die App gut strukturiert ist, lassen sich viele Einzeltermine leicht eintragen und ändern. Auch unser CI, zum Beispiel unsere Farben, konnten wir in die App übernehmen. November 22, 2018 5.0 LineUpr is an application that offers many useful features such as the possibility to link artists/speakers to their item on the agenda and vice versa as well as the option to vary in the priority of items on the agenda so that important ones can be shown first regardless of the alphabetical or chronological order. The incorporated feedback feature for event-visitors and the real-time update function are also very practical. We’ve been working with LineUpr for a couple of years now and wouldn’t hesitate to say that it always entirely met our needs. Pros LineUpr is very customer-friendly. The usability is great for both event creator and consumer as all of the features are self-explaining and the overall handling is easy, fast and intuitive. For the creator this is not only but to great parts due to the very helpful offer that you can transfer and adjust the settings and the content from one of your already existing projects to a new one. This can save you a lot of time p.e. if you’re planning a series of similar events. In addition they offer an exceptionally good customer service so that in case of any problem you’ll be looked after very efficiently and even in short notice. Cons There isn’t really anything we missed. The only thing one could criticize is that you can’t really change the overall design of the app but in the end it does look simple, yet professional and you can choose individual colours to match your own corporate design. Pros The software is easy to use and the app gets a professional appearance without a lot of customization. Due to the many options to customize it is however possible to create exactly what you need. I like also the fact that the app is web-based and that it is easy to re-use previous events as a base for new ones. Pros The app was really easy to use. With the drag & drop it was almost self explaining, and with the mobile phone at the screen you can see ur changes right away. you can even use your own colors. It was the beste choise to use lineupr. But it is not just the app that we liked, it also the customer service. we recevied 2 or 3 mails, where they gave a couple of hints.
