I do believe it was good value for money, we cross-quoted with other apps that were far more complicated or less intuitive and definitely more expensive. Pros We used LineUPR to design our conference website and found it very easy to use. The platform is very intuitive, with clear navigation and a logical structure that makes it easy to find everything. We were able to customise the site to match our brand style and create a professional look. We loved how the information is connected across the platform, linking sponsors to speakers and the agenda. This was the first year we had a digital brochure and we were very happy with the result. Delegates found it easy to use too. We would highly recommend it. Pros Easy to use, intuitive back-end interface, and no app to download for users (handy since we've had issues with our bank users downloading third-party apps), and great for attendee management and networking. Desktop and mobile optimized with a pricing model that's scalable and flexible depending on options. Great support as well - very responsive from a person (not a bot). Phillipe assisted me at all times and was super fast. Pros I liked that it could be customized with the company's logos/colors and that surveys could be conducted with attendees. Cons I didn't like that each "improvement" meant an increase in cost. The issue of prices for each thing seemed unclear to me. We use it for our annual 5-day training intensive and love how it brings everything together in one place: schedules, links, directions, and a handy “Who’s Who” page. It’s clear, intuitive, and easy for everyone to use. Highly recommended! Pros The Who's is Who tool is great for kick off events, they way it links people to agenda items and the other way around is really helpful. The app is easy to create and therefore ideal for anyone who doesn't work with these systems on a weekly basis. Cons missing the tool to upload files, we solved this through adding links to Dropbox, however for the customer experience, in app files opening brings it to the next level. March 18, 2025 5.0 We used LineUpr for the London Business School Women in Business Club’s EQUALL Conference this March, and it was such a great experience. The platform was super easy to use—we were able to set up our own app for the conference without any issues. We got a lot of positive feedback on the day from people saying how much they loved the app and how it made the conference feel super smooth and organized. Overall, LineUpr made a big difference for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a conference or event. Pros A few features really stood out for us. The ticketing system made it easy for attendees to book workshops in advance, which helped a ton with managing capacity. We also loved the push notifications! It was a great way to keep everyone informed throughout the day—whether it was telling people where to go for lunch, reminding them to sign up for workshops, or letting them know when to come back from coffee breaks. The app was also a really helpful way for attendees to check out the agenda and learn more about our speakers and sponsors. Cons I loved the notifications feature but unfortunately there wasn't a way to schedule the notifications ahead of time so even though I had previously written them I had to keep my laptop on me to release them at the appropriate time. Pros i really love the simplicity of the app, it is designed for ease of use, even for users who arent tech savy. Die App eignet sich gut, um ein umfangreiches Congress-Programm digital bereitzustellen und Teilnehmende während der Veranstaltung mit wichtigen Informationen, Programmpunkten und Push-Nachrichten zu versorgen. Besonders hilfreich war die pragmatische Unterstützung durch das LineUpr-Team bei unserem etwas komplexeren Setup mit öffentlicher Congress-App und separater teilnehmerbezogener App. Dadurch konnten wir unsere Anforderungen trotz einiger Einschränkungen gut umsetzen. Für einfache bis mittlere Veranstaltungsstrukturen ist LineUpr sehr gut geeignet. Bei sehr individuellen Kongressprozessen, komplexen Workshop-Anmeldungen oder detaillierten Auswertungen ist allerdings zusätzliche Planung und Nachbearbeitung notwendig. Programmpunkte, Referenten, Sponsoren, Workshops und organisatorische Informationen können zentral bereitgestellt werden, sodass Teilnehmende während der Veranstaltung schnell Zugriff auf die wichtigsten Inhalte haben. Sehr hilfreich sind außerdem die Push-Nachrichten, mit denen organisatorische Hinweise, Erinnerungen und kurzfristige Informationen direkt an die Teilnehmenden ausgespielt werden können. Für unseren Kongressbetrieb war das ein großer praktischer Vorteil. Cons Am wenigsten gefällt uns, dass bestimmte komplexere Anforderungen nur mit Workarounds umsetzbar sind. Für unseren Congress mussten wir mit einer öffentlichen App und einer separaten teilnehmerbezogenen App arbeiten, weil zugangsbeschränkte Workshops und interne Teilnehmerfunktionen nicht sauber innerhalb einer einzigen App abbildbar waren. Auch bei Auswertungen und Exporten gibt es Verbesserungspotenzial. Die exportierten Daten sind grundsätzlich nutzbar, mussten für unsere Zwecke aber mehrfach nachbearbeitet werden. Bei Bewertungen wäre eine genauere Auswertung hilfreich, zum Beispiel mehr Nachkommastellen bei Durchschnittswerten, wenn viele Referenten oder Programmpunkte verglichen werden sollen. Man kann sie wunderbar ans Veranstaltungsdesign anpassen und erhält somit eine individuelle App. Cons Ich hätte mir mehr Flexibilität bei den Zusatzfunktionen gewünscht, um nicht gleich das volle Upgrade buchen zu müssen. Nachträgliche Änderungen waren so nicht möglich. Das DinA4 Format konnte im Smartphone nur mit hin und herschieben gelesen werden. Die linupr App unterstützt Smartphones ideal und ebenso nachträgliche Änderungen an der Veranstaltungs-Agenda. Pros Dass die Agenda jederzeit geändert werden kann, auch wenn sie schon per mail verteilt ist. Und dass ich Bilder der Referenten einbauen kann. Cons Wenn sich in der Agenda ein Vortrag verschiebt oder verlängert, müssen alle folgenden Vorträge manuell verschoben werden. Das würde ich mir automatisiert wünschen. Wenn ich eine alte Veranstaltung als neue kopiere, muss ich bei jedem Vortrag das Datum manuell anpassen, das wünsche ich mir auch automatisiert. Für meine Zwetägigen Veranstaltungen wünsche ich mir eine Gesamtansicht der Agenda, in der beide Tage auf einen Bildschirm passen. We were looking for a way to present our program as well as the participants in a simple and clear way, and to be able to react quickly and flexibly even in case of last-minute changes. In one of the previous events we created an extra page on our homepage for this purpose, which looked good, but was difficult to administrate in case of changes. Our guests as well as the contributors of our event were very enthusiastic about the professional layout and content of our program. The contributors very quickly realized the promotional value of their own descriptions and diligently sent material for it.Suggestions for improvement:Program items that go over several days are only displayed on the first day. To make them visible for each day, the start time must be adjusted at the beginning of the day.Program items that have several smaller components for which it is not worth entering a start and end time because they are too short are difficult to display. One can only add the contributors without specifying their performance.A different editor should be used for the contributor and program item descriptions. The formatting options are too few.Furthermore, it would be nice to be able to add pictures in the descriptions in addition to the profile picture.The export function is kept very simple and probably only intended as a backup. The corresponding Excel file is unusable for external processing. Pros It is very easy to create the program and the list of contributors.The color layout can be adapted to your own CI very easily. It helped us very well to manage the event and keep everyone informed about what is going on. The feedback from the attendees has also been very positive. Pros We have found LineUpr a practical and easy to use event app, especially for bigger events (100+ participants) that offers an attractive and helpful way of informing everyone of the activities and communicating what is happening, including making participants aware of spontaneous changes. It is easy to re-use previous events as a basis for new ones and to customise the event visually using your own CVI. It's great that the app can be accessed from the phone, and that participants can easily save the link on their phone home screen (no need to download the app). Cons It would be nice to have a feature to enable chat or conversations within groups of participants. October 23, 2019 5.0 We are a tiny non-profit that provides free/inexpensive education to volunteer leaders in our community. Our customers are not paid for what they do, so we don't collect much revenue (just a modest, "cover the costs" fee for our annual symposium). Avoiding printing costs was critical for us--and we also helped set a standard for how to hold an event thanks, in part to LineUpr--many of our customers also put on professional events on a shoestring budget. I was happy to spread the word! Pros So, so much! Everything I wanted to make our inaugural symposium look polished and professional was easily doable in LineUpr. The learning curve was brief, the ability to completely control content positioning was critical, there's tons of flexibility in labeling, images were crisp and clear, and the ability to duplicate content saved so much time. Every time I thought I'd have to figure out a workaround for something "special", I'd either discover that the functionality was already there--either through my own diligence, or through prompt and effective support from the LineUpr team. I really felt like LineUpr was an instrumental partner to making our event go smoothly, eliminate paper, and make the inevitable last-minute changes painless. Cons There were a few MINOR tweaks that caught my eye...setting background colors wasn't entirely obvious to me at first, and I'd like to see an option to disable the star ratings for sessions so users could be focused on the per-session surveys I created. February 10, 2019 5.0 We were organising a four day conference at our university for about 650 participants. We mainly used LineUpr to communicate the schedule and locations. The main advantage versus classical paper schedules is that you can immediately update the schedule in case of any changes. The feedback from our participants for the app was amazing and we will definitely use it again next time! Pros It is very intuitive and easy to start working with LineUpr, so you can jump right in. The option to assign locations to the different items on the schedule is very helpful. That you can add these location to the integrated map makes the navigation for participants really easy and the option to post announcements to the front page is very handy for the organisers. LeLa-Jahrestagung Dresden" March 20, 2020 5.0 Very nice web app, with which we were able to support our event with about 230 participants. After a short training period, the admin was able to create the event and set the program - the most important point for a conference. Since we were a bit late overall, another program was printed - this will definitely not happen again at the next conference: Everything will be done via the app. We haven't been able to test the survey function yet, but we will do so at the next conference. Pros Since today (almost) everyone travels to conferences with a smartphone in their pocket, the web app is a good addition to inform all participants promptly, e.g. about spontaneous changes. The push messages work well and catch the eye. The conference program can be adjusted on the fly, and every participant will be informed about changes in the planned premises in real time. Cons As a web app, push messages only arrive when the app (website) is opened. But this is a disadvantage of the form of the application and has nothing to do with the development. The templates and pages that already exist, give us inspiration and a good guideline on how to use it in our event. I really enjoy the possibility of creating a schedule of the event with all details for each session: venue, topic, facilitator, etc. Cons From the feedback we had from the participants, we just miss a feature to enable chat or conversations between participants. Another feature that can be improved is the results of surveys and feedback from each session, because only the creator of the content can see it. LineUpr is very easy to use and once we implemented our schedule it was well received by delegates and organising team alike. Cons Unfortunately it was not possible to upload documents. The location selection allows only one location per agenda - choosing more would have been easier as one item on the programme happend at 2 locations at the same time.
