The system is rock-solid, and the customer support that we have received over the years has been top-notch. Pros Straight-forward, easy to use email encryption that works from virtually and platform Cons Currently no add-in for Gmail to allow for a more streamlined email encryption process. Also the price works for us since we're a non profit organization Cons I wish it was integrated with more platforms. Pros It's very easy to send an email securely. Cons Having to always enter a password when accessing a secure email. Clients also sometimes have trouble opening emails sent via NeoCertified. Do not like the mailbox size limitation and having to periodically delete sent emails, but also delete the trash to be able to continue to send and receive secure emails. Reason for choosing NeoCertified There weren't a whole lot of carriers on the market when we chose NeoCertified. The two most attractive features were the Outlook plug in allowing us to easily send a secure email with the click of a button, and that we could include attachments. Review Source AB Ace B. April 11, 2022 5.0 Certain departments in our office deal with sensitive data that needs HIPAA compliance. NeoCertified allowed us to buy a small number of licenses, since we only had a couple of users in need of this kind of security. Every other company we researched was forcing us to buy an expensive license for our entire domain. NeoCertified also plugged in perfectly with Rackspace, our email provider. So if you're in a municipality or business and only have a few users that need HIPAA compliance, NeoCertified is the clear way to go. May 18, 2021 5.0 All in all though, I find that it is very easy to set up and use. I rely very heavily on it because of the type of work that I do and the sensitivity of the information that I have to disperse. I think once I started using this, there was just no way for me to go back to anything else. I LOVE this program and I think that if you were to try it and compare it to others out there, you will feel the same way. Pros This software is a lifesaver. Since the pandemic, we know that conducting business has definitely changed from what we are used to. Business does not come to a grinding halt though so we need to think outside of the box on how to get things done. I was turned on to NeoCertified by our IT Department and I swear, it is really the best thing that I could have hoped for. This is the product to have if you need to send sensitive information via e-mail. Cons I am not quite sure if it is a part of the programming or what, but what I do not like is the fact that after you have so much information in your OUTBOX, INBOX, DELETE BOX, etc. and you try to send an e-mail, you will get an error message that you need to delete some files to free up space. For me, this is a pain because I get and send a lot of information this way and so I use up my space and I don't know if there is a way that you can be warned beforehand that you are reaching capacity rather than waiting until you are already at capacity and cannot send any e-mails at all. This service protects both parties and makes sure that it is only viewed by the intended receiver. Cons Not many cons to add - however there were sometimes that there was some password issues and the receiver was not able to open the files. It caused a delay in patient care. Pros NeoCertified was easy to setup on our PCs, the Outlook plug-in makes sending secure emails a breeze and is very easy for users to learn and use. The pricing was great as well! Cons To be honest, there isn't anything I dislike about it. The thing I like lease is that I hadn't stumbled across it earlier, we only found out about it due to a referral from another company that was using it. " July 20, 2022 5.0 As a medical office, it is critical that I have a way to share medical information safely. NeoCertified absolutely helps with this. And for a small office of 1, pricing was critical and NeoCertified was a great option for me. Pros Peace of mind. Cons Does not integrate with Mac Mail so I have to enter via the online portal. Not that big a deal really. While I am not able to compose via my regular Mail app, I am notified of any activity in my regular inbox. As a solo practitioner, I like that I only have to pay once per year (and a modest amount at that), and the one time I've needed to reach out to the support team, I got a response within 15 minutes of emailing them! This is a great solution that I could afford. The pricing on the many other solutions out there is much higher and out of reach for some small businesses. Pros Neocertified is not only an easy to use but affordable secure email solution. Cons Not an issue with Neocertified but rather all solutions require the recipient to create a user name and password and they get confused sometimes but the instructions provided are helpful. No headache solution: - Minimal training required. No investment in any complicated hardware. Outlook plugin for Microsoft Outlook 2007 worked great when we were using that that platform. Cons Though we really do not have any complaints about NeoCertified, getting a Business Associtaes Agreement in place took a while. Pros This product has been a life saver for our small non-profit! We love the features available like email retraction. It is very cost effective for our organization. We love that you can use an app from your phone as well. Cons It is not easy to use with Apple products. You have to purchase something to make it compatible which adds to the expense.
