Comments: The system as a whole is good, but if you have any issues it is very much dependent upon who happens to be assigned to you at the time. My rating would be much higher if there was stability where you worked with the same person for a number of years as opposed to frequent changes.

Pros: The platform was good and made for relatively easy payroll processing. The interface for employees was also relatively straight forward.

Cons: The biggest issue I had was the turnover in account representatives. I had an excellent representative that was transferred, but then it was a revolving door.

Pros: It offers a lot of custom fields and keeps everything from time off, compensation, vacation calendar, benefits all in one. The software is very easy to use and they are always adding improvements.

Cons: It takes a while to get familiar with the platform, it could be easier to use. The interface is clunky and sometimes does not populate as fast as I like.

Comments: They continue to try to improve.

Pros: Some of the modules are very good, i.e. Time and Attendance, Payroll Processing, HR Basics, Benefits Administration

Cons: Some of the modules are a bit old-fashioned, i.e Performance Management - traditional basic approach.

Comments: If you need payroll and a few other things, ADP will do it. And they'll do some of it well. But not all of it. And it'll cost you. You've been warned. If you want a fully functional HRIS, this probably isn't for you.

Pros: ADP does payroll pretty well, and it seems that they are investing in developing smoother interfaces and more streamlined reporting. The other parts are tacked on from acquisitions. But those have been getting better over time as well. Think about how nice it is to have benefits enrollment tied directly to payroll! And ACA reporting! Huzzah! But with those pros, there are quite a few cons. Please read on...

Cons: Probably not the best bang for you buck, and the way they bill and invoice for separte products and services makes it very easy for them to slip little charges in that add up over time. ADP has recently updated their call-in system, but I've been on hold way more than normal. They seem to get better with customer service, then get worse, then get better again. Some of the reporting is counter intuitive....

Pros: Easy to use. Auto calculates the gross amount. Certified payrolls are easier to create I am told.

Cons: When you start a new batch, it would be nice if we could select an X number of rows for specific employees, as opposed to inserting one row at a time.
Right now the only feature available is to add rows for all employees.

Pros: The implementation process was very thorough and they provided value added advice when requested. There is a relatively high level of trust as they are the industry leaders and push out lots of helpful communication. This is in stark contrast to our previous payroll provider where there was absolutely no trust. So far they have been a pleasure to work with.

Cons: Sometimes there are functionalities that we used to have with our old payroll vendor that are not available with the industry leader. We'd like electronic forms to be signed and stored within employee's personnel records through ADP, but evidently that functionality does not exist at this time. Pay raises that occur in the middle of a pay period must be entered manually for that payroll which also feels like something they should've figured out how to automate by now.

Overall: They are the industry expert and provide value added advice and service. I appreciated the implementation process and felt it was thorough.

WFN is very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Pros: WFN is very easy to navigate. Changes are seamless and in real time. Payroll runs effortlessly. I love being able to completely control payroll, even down to being able to edit the schedules directly in the software. Custom reports come in handy as well. I would like to see more education around the usage and capabilities of reporting but it's awesome!

Cons: I don't have any complaints about the software, but I do wish that ADP was more responsive when engaged. Most of the customer service representatives seem to be irritated by helping, and short answered when asked for direction. It also feels like issues can't be resolved without waiting 30 minutes or more on hold, or being passed around from department to department.

Overall: Effortless payroll!

Pros: I like that there are different modules so that all HR your functions are integrated into one system.

Cons: The system is not user friendly and has many limitations. In addition, you have a to pay a good amount to add each module and the customer service is horrible. It has gotten better since they added a dedicated Account Manager but they don't do a good job on educating you on what needs to be done.

Overall: Prior to ADP, we did not have an HRIS system so we finally have a history of records for our employees. Also, instead of using different vendors we are able to consolidate payroll and HR functions into one system.

Pros: Don't use all features but the once I use are easy to use, software gets frequently upgrades which keep it running pretty good

Cons: when software gets upgrades features get remove and have to reach customer service to find out how to get where I need to get and it takes long time to get answer by customer service rep.

Software works well but is designed for large companies and there are many features I do not use.

Pros: Ease of use for administrator and employees. The upgrades are regular and just get more and more user friendly.

Cons: It seems like customer support can't keep up with the ever evolving technology and are not knowledgeable so when I do have a question, I don't expect support to help. I shouldn't know more about the software than they do. On rare occasions I get someone great and make sure to provide feedback on that person. But again, that's rare.

Pros: ADP is well known, offering more features and functionality. it is secured and well developed. in most cases it is user friendly.

Cons: In most cases it is user friendly however in time sheet entry, it has to complicated to use occasionally...high cost vs other vendor

Pros: All in one system instead of several different log ins. Navigating from person to person is fairly easy.

Cons: New hire wizard needs more options to add to the templet Some places where things are stored are not easy to find. not much support

I like that ADP is up to date with every mandated legal change. i.e. ACA and NYS Paid Family Leave.

Pros: That newly entered information flows from one module to another and we no longer have to enter it two or three times.

Cons: Time & Attendance reports could be more versatile. Analytics needs to be able report on selected time frames, It's cool, but limited in it's usefulness because it does not have the flexibility to allow the user to select the time frames.

Overall: New Hire Wizards, Termination Wizards, Multiple work sites can access this information. It is sharp and on the ball with legal requirements. Customer service has greatly improved, very much appreciated. Benefits are easier to manage, with direct ties to our health care provider and 401k provider.

Comments: After reviewing 12 software platforms, we chose to go with ADP. They worked with our specific needs and concerns from negative experiences with other software providers. They made sure to walk through implementation with a plan and great communication!

Pros: The product is diverse and allows us to maintain our HR and Payroll in one central location. We also chose to use ADP for other services which is assisting in a more streamline process. Great Training provided to assist clients in knowing how to navigate the software as needed. Simple processes to get your HR and payroll needs met.

Cons: Systems can be a little separated and is a lot to learn. Sometimes the constant upgrades can be challenging to keep up with. The network environments working cohesively for the one your company is using. Our diverse industry struggles with the scheduling and view ability especially with mobile users.

Pros: What I like the most about WorkforceNow is that it has all of the information that you need from an HR stand point, in one place. A user can edit the layout and functions to better suit their company's needs.

Cons: The thing that I like the least about WorkforceNow (even though it is pretty great), is that it should come with more training materials - for both users and admins. Depending on the type of industry the software is being used for, some employees may need some further instruction.

ADP is constantly updating the software to meet the needs of their clients.

Pros: I like the fact that the software is very user friendly. Even though there are updates, I can usually figure out on my own how to use the various functions available to me. They seem to be very logical and I seldom have any issues once I try to complete a certain task.

Cons: Some of the changes they make are changes that I don't find necessary to me and I can some time get a little lost as to what they are trying to accomplish. We are a very small company and this software is definitely more than we need but when we originally signed up with ADP, this level was where we got the most support. The lower levels of ADP (11 years ago) did not have folks who were very friendly and supportive so we had to go to a higher level at that time.

Overall: It makes my job easier and if I have any questions either when I call or if I send an email, I get a friendly person who does their best to solve my issue/problem.

Since this is the first time I have done the input of payroll, it has gone well.

Pros: The ability to do the payroll when it fits my schedule, and that all reports that I may need are at my fingertips, if I can find them.

Cons: Still learning how to navigate the software, and I'm afraid I'm going to screw something up when looking for a report.

Overall: That I can see the payroll the moment that I input. When I would call our payroll in, I had to trust that the hours were being put into the correct columns.

Pros: I can do my payroll and input easy. And it is easy and fast. Also, if i needs update on my staff details, it is easily done. User friendly and I can make corrections.

Cons: I don't know other details on how to get reports, my searching does not take me anywhere. Need some reading materials to show me where to get the reports but once I have it, I know it will be easier for me to follow and navigate it. Just need some help to follow and navigate.

Overall: Easy to learn and I can do my payroll and updates fast.

Pros: Not having to download the vac accruals, and also the speed of getting back the preview. The reporting is also a really good feature.

Cons: I find it hard to find things I need. Its a little confusing. Trying to find certain tasks makes it hard to get the payroll done fast.

Overall: Better reporting, faster return on previews.

Pros: I do the hourly payroll for our Company. The software has everything we need to effectively and efficiently process a payroll. I can't speak for the HR/Benefit side, but as far as entering weekly pay and report use, it's great!

Cons: I find the screen cumbersome at times. It doesn't always recognize when I put in a shift code. I have to watch this closely and if I'm keying in to fast, it won't recognize it. Also, when you insert a row for an employee, it drops your screen to the bottom, so I'm constantly scrolling up and down to enter payroll. Some of the report writing can be difficult, it you don't know what tables the information is in.

Pros: Streamlines process and makes doing payroll a more efficient process from start to finish. Has default reports that some may find useful.

Cons: Reporting can be too time consuming. It can be hard getting customer service help. Small companies may find it too expensive.

Pros: I LOVED their customer support. Calling into the center was always easy and the representatives always took their time in helping me figure out what I needed to do (usually some type of report). The system is easy to use and understand quickly. The ability to customize the system was also a great feature.

Cons: Though customization is great, it can be a blocker when you do not have an ADP "guru", of sorts, on the team to help figure out and own how your ADP instance flows. As an organization, we struggled with that.

Overall: ADP benefited our company as we grew and continued to acquire new companies in a short period of time. The ability to load new employees through Excel import was great and the custom reporting has been a life saver as well.

This has been a great company to work with. Support is always eager to help.

Pros: The software is fairly easy to use. The payroll process flows well and easy to go back and make corrections if necessary.

Cons: If you have to do a reversal on a payroll the process it not so easy. I do not have the ability to do this myself and it seems very complicated.

Pros: I like the ease of use. The new upgrades recently were helpful. The learning bytes were very helpful when we did our open enrollment updates this year.

Cons: The software is good. However, sometimes the customer service calls take a long time to answer. Another item that seems to have disappeared is being able to put in "no lunch" on hourly employees that have an automatic lunch punch.

Overall: Knowledge of payroll in 3 different states.

Pros: This program makes it easy for any employee to access anything they need regarding their employment information.

Cons: No cons except that vacation hours are sometimes innacurate. Other than that it is a useful app\website.

Pros: Ease of flow - one system versus several systems n one. The capabilities of the solution include human resources management, payroll, benefits, talent management, compliance, time and labor management and analytics.

Cons: Formatting features across the board.
Portal and recruiting has great formatting features whole job descriptions in job titles doesn't like bullets, also systems says can't update because of 4,000 character limit, but data trying to upload is not even half of that.

Wouldn¿t do payroll without it. Takes the worry out of the little details!

Pros: Options available! There are so many different ways you can personalize this program to meet the specific needs of each employee as well as each business.

Cons: Big learning curve as there are so many things that this software can do! Need plenty of time to get comfortable with all of the features!

Run payroll monthly for a small company and it takes roughly 15 minutes which is great!

Pros: The software has a very user-friendly interface. Everything you need is pretty much on the dashboard so you can navigate very easily. The design of the software is very logical. ADP Work Force Now has knowledgeable support personnel.

Cons: ADP Work Force Now could improve its reporting section. For example, when entering a new hire, we wish there is a way to print out a new hire report just for the sections that we filled out; not the whole 7 pages. For example, if the company is not unionized, we don't need to see the section with all blank boxes. And we wish there is a way to select the section we would like to receive with payroll delivery package to avoid wasting paper resources.

We use workforce now for payroll only. Software not user friendly.

Pros: All tax reports are available in a timely manner. Offers options for employees to access their paystubs. Quick turnaround to preview payroll once submitted

Comments: Love the way this software works

Pros: The adp workforce now is a great site easy to access and work around. Love how it breaks down the time off for the emplyees and also tell them if they were approved for there day off requested and how it responds to there request

Cons: no cons except maybe the password setup is a little hard for the older employee to work with. The Graphs can be a little confusing for some of my employees

Pros: Very fast processing, everyone is happy with how fast we can get pay information for invoicing and paying invoices. GL is excellant, no errors and fast processing; adding items was a bit confusing but once figured out and done, there were never any problems.

Cons: Timecards/Time Off and Schedules are geared toward punching in/out. Our organization only uses hours, so all the verification reports tend to be quite useless. Scheduling is limited.

Pros: What I have liked best is the flexibility of the program, without a glitch, I was able to provided incredible services to a large number of employee and when I downsized by almost 75%, I was still able to provide the remaining employees with all the same benefits.

Cons: Probable the thing I dislike most is that I can not view multiple windows and/or employee files at the same time. The second would be that the pay statements, when printed do not include the PTO balances as they do on the check stubs.

The upgrades to the system have helped make the system easier to navigate.

Pros: The usability of it, the clarity of the directions, the ability to add notes on timecards, and the iPay system.

Cons: The vacation accrual system. The limits that are set on the accrual for rehires causes issues unless the person knows to reset the accrual year. This should be a pop up when rehiring employees.

Pros: You can customize the software and purchase only what you need. Software programs are easy to use. ADP is always updating its' programs and improving user experience.

Cons: I've used ADP for the past 10 years. The only thing i would say that needs improvment would be in their EZLabor Manager, time card reporting area. When printing Time Cards with signatures, I would also like to see in this report over-rides by Supervisors/Managers. Currently you have to run two seperate reports.

Overall: I'm very happy with this product.

Pros: Really like that I can set up a special payroll myself without having to call in for support. Normal payroll processing is efficient and love being able to see the reports right away to review. I have a lot of calls from competitors and they lead in with cost and I tell them that is not my driving factor, reliability, functionality and processes are what I am most interested in and ADP has that solution and will not consider switching providers.

Pros: The availability and promptness in the turn around time for entries and reports. The functionality of the software seems much better than before. Even when the upgrades occur they are ease to get to and the changes seem to always make for better processing.

Cons: That the payroll reports are only available during ADP hours. I can understand not being allow to submit the payroll except when ADP is in operation, but at times being able to look at the preview reports on a weekend would be very helpful, especially during the holidays.

Pros: Anytime there has been a massive update on the site, I find it has made it easier to use. I am pleased with the new ways to run payroll and reset it. I also love The Bridge. I use it frequently when I am trying to compete a new task on ADP and have always found my answer.

Pros: The ADP system is easy to use and the customer support is out of this world. I love the quick turnaround time of payroll processing reports once payroll is submitted.

Cons: I would like to see ADP add functionality to allow me to set employee notes and follow-up reminders for pre-configured and ad hoc events and milestones. For starters, the support team and customer services teams are impossible to reach (long wait times) and generally unhelpful.

Pros: The Bridge: I can get answers through ADP's client community and the response is pretty quick.
In the Payroll Cycle page, I can see all (Employee update, Payroll Inputs, and Input Summary) at the same time which I can quickly review the results.

Cons: I still confuse about how to use the "Report".
English is not my first language so it would be great if there is a feature to read my language.

Overall: I get benefits to learn new regulation and also any questions I have, I can use "The Bridge" to get answer from community. Most my questions, other people have already posted so I can get answers.

Pros: Easy access to all information needed for employees and payroll. All taxes, any deductions for employees, wage garnishment, all are figured automatically after the initial setup. If I need an extra copy of a paycheck or need to refer to something several months ago, it's right there for me to look up.

Pros: Accessibility from any station. This has been very helpful because sometimes we have computer problems or vacation and we are able to take care of things at another computer station.

Overall: There are many, but the one that I have used the most is printing pay stubs for employees.
At first in comparison to the original PC Payroll, there were things that had changed, but once my ADP representative helped me through everything and gave me and instruction guide, it has been very beneficial.

Comments: Don't try to integrate new companies nor try to have any changes to your time keeping processes. You will have no project plan, multiple weeks and months of frustration and overcomplicated fees that can't be explained. ADP has become a company that isn't nimble and has not kept up with technology and advances that much smaller companies have mastered. I would look to other PEO providers at the start of any project.

Pros: Limited likes. The ADP personnel on the MyTotalSource platform are competent but overwhelmed. The Time and Attendance team is not competent and clients have no points of contact. You are left on your own to try to figure out how to manage new projects.

Cons: Running reports required lots of manipulation and does not seem secure. For instance, if you hire a person who has been employed by an former ADP client, the start date for the employee is blended with the former and future clients. As an employer client, you will never have clarity about service, hire dates, etc. for your own employees --- rather, you will have to call a service center to week through the blended data from all former ADP employers, etc. Reports from ADP directly are always subject to this as well as your own reports.

Pros: I was reluctant at first with this software program. As with everything in life change is difficult. As I was using the program I learned to adjust to it and like it more and more. I feel that it is better than the previous software we did have.

Cons: I have had some difficulty adjusting to the new software. I was use to the other software program we had. But after almost 6 months of use I am getting used to the software program.

Overall: Having a more efficient payroll system for our employees. That is primary for our company as payroll comes as one of the top three concerns for our company. Having a system that is efficient and accurate is what makes us want to stay with the software.

Pros: I like that if you update HR the information flows to payroll. The time and attendance is easy to use and is imported to payroll. I love the benefit file feeds to the carriers. The integration of most products works very well.

Cons: There are some areas where you have to remember to make entries such as for a new hires time to properly accrue. It's not obvious in all buckets of information that you need to do something. I think some items could be streamlined or a box should pop up with instructions.

Housing a lot of information in this HRIS system and the reporting capabilities makes my job easier. I love the self-service function for my employees so they can do things that I used to have to do for them. The benefit module is worth its weight in gold. Keeping track of the ACA reporting and all the benefit plans, mass updating for simply plan changes saves me SO much time.

Pros: The application works great for tracking your pay. If I need to see a pay stub I can login and access whatever I need to see. I like the ability to see previous companies pays rubs who used this software as well.

Cons: The ability to roll one user login from an old company into another. That would help without having separate logins.

Pros: The ease of use from anywhere. I dont have to be in the office to handle personnel matters. That I am also able to make changes quickly and efficiently.

Cons: That you have to go to several places to access reports. i.e, iReports, and etc., Finding them exactly what you need is also extremely complicated. The reports aspect for Taxes and whatnot is the most frustrating part.

Pros: Workforce Now is so easy to use. The menus are easy to navigate. New hires require little to no training on using the software and app. It's straightforward. Everything is in a place that makes sense.

Cons: Rarely, employees have trouble using the app because of the GPS restrictions, but this has only happened 2-3 times in the past two years.

Overall: Workforce Now makes processing payroll easy for me. The employees save time punching in and out on the out instead of keeping up with timecards.

Pros: I do not feel concerned about the accuracy of the system. The reporting function has improved greatly and it is simpler to run reports.

Cons: Updates seems to improve certain areas but take away features that I think worked well. I also do not like the format of the new payroll grid, seems to have shrunk the view.

Pros: Over all it's pretty easy to navigate. ADP support is always there to help me out when I seem to forget what needs to be done, in case I forget. All of ADP representatives are super polite and patient when called for support.

Pros: WFN is an easy HRIS to administer and implement as well as use. The product helped streamlined a lot of our processes, from HRB to Payroll to Time & Attendance to Performance Review. It is a great HRIS.

Cons: Im not sure if its the software that i least like, more so the customer service. Getting a hold of someone to talk to can take from 5-30 minutes. Which is totally absurd. This is one thing ADP needs to improve on. I also hope there are more features to the Performance Review Module, where it allows a quarterly one-on-one review between employee and manager, instead of Annual. I guess more customization frequency.

Pros: Features - I like the fact that there are so many features - you are always finding new features to help you in so many areas of a business - from personal information on your employees to wage and length of service - nice how everything is stored for each employee-just pick the employee and go for it - you can find everything you need.

Cons: When they make changes. We are so busy in this business that often I don't have time to get in on every class they have on the changes - wish they would let you pick to keep the old version .

Pros: 1. Flow from ADP payroll to ADP Retirement Services
2. The upgrades to WFN have been beneficial
3. I like being assigned an OE Specialist for my benefits open enrollment.
4. Employees can print their own W2 form; self service options
5. I do like the customer service specialist option if I have a difficult or complicated issue

Cons: 1. Pulling data from payroll and benefits using reports is difficult
2. The customer service reps (not the specialists) seem to have a route to handle an issue. By the time I am calling I have narrowed down some possible solutions and instead of listening to where I am in the process the CS rep seems to start at the beginning and goes through solutions I have already tried. They make suggestions or try things that I know are not going to work.
3. There are times when I don't know what I don't know and in setting up something in ADP I do not know what the ramifications are of a decision I have made. Ex: I should have signed up with ADP Retirement Services at the beginning of the year, not the 3rd quarter because when running end of year reports I was missing pertinent data because the deduction codes for the 401k plan were changed to new codes. Didn't seem like a problem at the time, but for my end of year processing it has been a nightmare.
4. I wish the portal page/log in page was more dynamic in order to create a more interesting home page
5. I do not always find answers or help on the Support Pages. Ex: how to set up my employees in a new HSA account.

Pros: ADP is very easy to use. I have been a customer since 2003 and we employ over 150 employees using three companies. The reports are easy to create--done is easy to understand setup.

Cons: The wait time for questions is often very long for representative to pick up when you call with a general question. However, once they are on the line your problem is resolved with that person rather than waiting for a callback. The price is higher than other payroll companies.

Overall: Payroll, ACA, 401K, HR

Pros: The webinars and continuous learning opportunities for the user are great. Laws and compliances are changing so quickly that it is hard for someone in the trenches to keep up. They make staying current easy with their Eye on Washington and special webcasts. I like the look and ease of the program. It is easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. The new Pay Cycle is great, but it would be nice to enjoy it a while before they "upgrade" it again. I need time to learn and discover all the ways it can assist me. Customer support has been one area of frustration, but help with the ACA and Time and Attendance has been stellar.

Cons: Getting answers quickly has been a huge frustration, and not just with customer service although that has been an issue with payroll. It seems to take an unnecessary amount of time to get something new implemented. We took steps to add an HR component for tracking professional development hours for our teachers. Once we signed up, we waited weeks to hear back about implementation. Finally after emailing our rep, I was contacted about training for the addition and found out it was not what we wanted. What we wanted was free and available with the push of a button. ADP has great resources for self-learning and I take advantage of them frequently. But sometimes I have an issue with payroll and need an answer quickly. Now with the designated rep, that doesn't happen. She is rarely available, which I understand, she has many clients and speaking with someone else is perfectly acceptable, but usually I end up having to leave a message. I find myself not wanting to call and having issues unresolved. Sometimes she is not able to resolve the issue completely because it involves a different department.

Overall: It does a great job of staying current with all the compliances changes to payroll and HR. I rely on them to get the payroll reporting correct.

Pros: Flexibility to do whatever I need to do. We're a small organization so we don't have a lot of unusual payroll items to process but the ones that have come up have been easily managed and processed through WorkforceNow. I also think this is a great time saver for a small company like ours (22 employees) that operate in multiple states (7 states). ADP is a very economical solution and definitely saves us money by not having to process multi-state payroll in house and file all the state reports and filings.

Overall: Saves our organization time and money.
While there is nothing that is overly complicated with WorkforceNow, since we use a lot of features only annually and we hire very few new employees, I often have to make a call to customer service to follow-up on rarely used functionality. However, the customer service team has always been extremely helpful...occasionally there has been some long wait times but that is understandable.

Pros: It is relatively user friendly. The learning videos within the support are helpful. The reports are available before you have finished your payroll for verification purposes. The ability to do a "what if" check is helpful for employees making deduction decisions.

Cons: Sometimes it is hard to navigate and know where to go for certain things. But you can usually find what you are looking for in a relatively short period of time.

Overall: The software is relatively easy to use. Reporting is efficient and easily accessible. There is a good support section as well.

Pros: It was very easy to input a new employee and to input regular payroll. Updating employee information was simple.

Cons: Finding the reports that you need is very difficult. Inputting bonus payroll was very confusing and difficult.

Pros: ease of use. Simple to input the data. Reports are all there. It is a large system with many options. I haven't had the time to learn everything that it can do.

Cons: When changes need to be made; finding the right customer service rep who knows what needs to be done. Some things we can do by ourselves, but you don't always know what or have been given the ability to do it. Right now we are trying to switch to quickbooks online. It has been very difficult and has not been accomplished.

Overall: Having someone else responsible for taxes!!
It takes less time than our old system.

Pros: Easy to use and is a great asset for payroll in this property management company. If there are any issues customer support is very helpful in assisting to make any necessary corrections .

Pros: The system is very easy to use. ADP has been investing a lot of resources in renovating and upgrading the platform. It takes me less than 30 minutes to process our payroll. ADP reporting tool is another feature I like a lot. It has become so easy to build and run customized reports.

Cons: We implemented WFN Talent and Recruitment feature about 6 months ago. I like it overall. However, I wish we could customize our career page on WFN more to our business needs.

Pros: The report functionality is extremely user friendly and is a great value to a payroll professional.
