### "In a Sea of Payroll software, floats to the top"

April 6, 2026

4.0

Overall good, except the customer service. If I have an issue I would like one person to handle it start to finish, whereas this I feel I"m calling into a call center and never get the same person twice

Pros

Payroll processing is straightforward, reporting is flexible, and employee data is easy to access and update. The platform helps reduce manual work and improves accuracy, which saves time and minimizes errors. I also appreciate the self-service features for employees, which empower them to manage their own information. Overall, it’s a reliable, user-friendly system that supports both efficiency and compliance, allowing me to focus more on strategic work instead of administrative tasks.

Cons

What I like least about ADP Workforce Now is that it can feel unintuitive and clunky at times, especially when navigating between different modules. Certain processes require more clicks than necessary, and the layout isn’t always as user-friendly as it could be. Reporting, while flexible, can be complicated to build without prior experience. Additionally, system updates or changes aren’t always clearly communicated, which can create confusion. Customer support can also be inconsistent depending on the issue. Overall, while it’s a powerful system, there are opportunities to improve usability and streamline the user experience.

### "ADP is the way to go"

June 20, 2026

5.0

For an HR or payroll administrator, it feels like driving a massive, armored tank: you know it is secure, it is highly compliant, and it will absolutely get you across the finish line on payroll day. However, it handles like a heavy vehicle—the steering is stiff, the dashboard is cluttered, and making a sharp turn (like running a non-standard report or fixing an implementation mistake) requires a lot of muscle.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now is a highly reliable, all-in-one HR platform that does a fantastic job of streamlining everything from payroll and tax filing to benefits administration and time tracking. Because it houses employee data in one centralized hub, it eliminates the headache of jumping between different systems and drastically reduces manual data entry. The platform is also widely praised for its robust, automated compliance features, which take the stress out of navigating complex labor laws, while its intuitive self-service portal empowers employees to easily manage their own tax forms, pay stubs, and time cards.

Cons

Honestly, ADP Workforce Now is great for having everything in one place, but it definitely has its frustrating sides. The system itself can feel really clunky and rigid—simple tasks take way too many clicks, and trying to pull a custom report is a total nightmare if you don't know exactly what you're doing. Plus, once you're done setting it up, the customer support is a maze; you usually end up dealing with a general call center instead of a dedicated person who actually knows your account. On top of that, their billing is incredibly confusing with random extra fees that constantly catch you off guard..

### "Years of Ongoing Issues with Tax Compliance and Support"

November 12, 2025

3.0

My overall experience with ADP Workforce Now has been disappointing. Over the years, we’ve faced ongoing challenges with tax compliance errors and an implementation process that was poorly managed from the start. Customer support has often been difficult to reach, and when issues arise, resolution times are extremely long. The system itself is robust in theory but overly complex in practice, making simple tasks take far more time than they should. While ADP offers a wide range of features, the lack of reliable support and efficiency has made the platform frustrating to use and difficult to trust for critical HR and payroll functions.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now offers a comprehensive range of HR and payroll features in one platform. When everything works correctly, it’s convenient to have payroll, benefits, and employee data integrated in one system.

Cons

The biggest issues were with tax compliance and the long turnaround time to resolve problems. Errors often took months and even years to correct, which has created frustration, extra work, and a lot of liability in late fees in penalties.

### "ADP Workforce Now a good solution for your Payroll needs."

May 12, 2026

4.0

The value for money is fair for the size of our company - it's based on the number of employees. It's easy to use and we are able to find work arounds for our specific needs. The set up menu allows us to limit access to specific menus depending on the department or manager level.

Pros

Time Tracking and Reporting - we are able to create custom reports to match our contract reporting. We can download timecard reports with notes and approvals.

Cons

Customer support. The do not appear to have knowledge for unique company needs. As an example some of our employees disappeared from our reports and our payroll register for no reason. We found out they were archived, customer support told us we were too large of a company and we were filling up our storage. We have 1200 employees, I do not think for a company that is too large for ADP to handle, they've been around for many years and I have to believe there are other companies with a lot more employees.

It is reliable because when I lost access on my payroll account through my company website. The ADP workforce integration of its employees records of the company payroll records regardless you are no longer have access to the payroll record in the company website.

Overall, my experience with ADP Workforce Now has been positive. I used it regularly to access payroll information, benefits, tax documents, and other HR resources. The platform was reliable and made it easy to manage routine employee tasks through its self-service features. While some areas of the interface could be more intuitive, it provided everything I needed in one place and helped simplify day-to-day HR and payroll management.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now provides an intuitive, centralized platform for managing HR tasks like payroll, benefits, time tracking, and employee information. I especially liked the self-service features, which made it easy to access pay stubs, tax documents, and benefits information without needing to contact HR.

Cons

### "A Decent Payroll Management Tool"

July 11, 2026

4.0

I've had a mostly positive experience with ADP Workforce Now, using it regularly to manage payroll and HR tasks. The user interface is intuitive, and the system's ease of use has streamlined our processes. However, occasional technical issues and limited customization options prevent me from giving it a perfect score.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now has been a pretty solid choice for our team's HR needs. We like the payroll management and time-off tracking features, which work well enough for our small team. The interface is easy to navigate, and we've had no major issues with data accuracy.

Cons

One minor annoyance is the lack of a built-in reporting tool for employee data. We have to export data to Excel and create our own reports, which takes a bit of time. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have this feature integrated directly into the platform.

Pros

easy to use, friendly user, simple, everything is there. I love the feed, so my boss can post some information or learning process quickly.

Cons

The safety and security. It's been a couple time in a short time frame that all employee need to change their password because we hav an alert saying someone try to connect and it was spam to us.

### "A Learning Curve That's Worth It"

October 21, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with ADP Workforce Now has been pleasant - the amount of assistance I've received from our ADP team has proved to be worth the price, and after a few learning experiences, it's a simple software to use as long as you know where to look. It's modern, it's fast, and ADP as a whole is very transparent with maintenance & shutdown times.

Pros

The feature I appreciate most about ADP Workforce Now is the customer service. Each person on our ADP team has been more than helpful and is willing to answer any question, no matter how many times you've asked. I'd say the ease of use comes with practice and depends on how complex you want your dashboards - for my company, we do not utilize the time tracking function, but have found that ADP is one of the most widely integrated softwares out there - it can essentially talk to any app.

Cons

One thing that I dislike about ADP Workforce Now is that it can feel overwhelming at times if you don't keep up with the meetings, and if your company does not have the time to prioritize it. I will also note that some of the courses are outdated - it's possible there may be some human error involved, but many of the courses on ADP Learn to help you get used to the software do not function properly.

### "ADP- A strong and reliable partner with payroll, reporting, solution design, and more"

September 16, 2025

4.0

Overall we are very happy with ADP. It costs a premium, but we happily pay it with the amount of value it provides for our teams and organizations.

Pros

The support and partnership regarding payroll and tax has been a huge value add. We have access to several teams ready and willing to work for us to help find solutions, for which we are very grateful. Also, custom reporting abilities in ADP are relatively robust and helpful. We also have dedicated access to a representative at ADP. He is more than tech support, he is invested in our problems and solutions, and makes time to help things go right for us.

Cons

ADP is large and slow to adapt. There are aspects we could or should have access to, but dont quite yet because the speed at which ADP moves and decides is that of a large company, which we understand. There is some rigidity in features and business responses that are sometimes necessitating workarounds.

### "Reliable All-in-One HR and Payroll Platform"

May 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with ADP Workforce Now was positive. I found it to be a reliable and comprehensive platform for managing payroll, HR tasks, benefits, and employee information all in one place. While there was a bit of a learning curve at first, the system became much easier to navigate over time, and the automation features helped streamline many day-to-day processes.

Pros

What I liked most about ADP Workforce Now was how it brought payroll, HR, benefits, and time tracking into one platform. It made managing employee information much more efficient and helped streamline everyday HR tasks. I also appreciated the employee self-service features and the reliability of the payroll system.

Cons

While ADP Workforce Now has a lot of robust features, there can be a learning curve at first because the platform is so comprehensive. However, once users become familiar with the system, it can be very effective for managing payroll, HR, and employee information in one place. Some processes may take additional setup or training initially, but that also allows for greater customization to fit a company’s needs.

### "Painless Payroll System"

February 13, 2026

4.0

I have used ADP as both an employee and supervisor of several employees. Most of my interactions with the platform have been around tracking, submitting, and approving timesheets; updating tax info; and tracking benefits and PTO. Compared to other systems, it has been relatively painless.

Pros

My organization uses ADP as its payroll and benefits system, and I have used it as both an employee and supervisor. Its time-tracking features are fairly easy to use, especially for organizations where all time has to be billed to a particular code or account. It also allows easy tracking of benefits and time off. It also makes it easy to update tax info, personal data, and benefits contributions, saving me time from jumping through various HR hoops. I think that its mobile app is fairly easy to use, as well. While I am not an HR professional, using ADP has been much more painless for me, compared to other platforms.

Cons

For organizations like mine, where all time has to be billed to a particular code, I would appreciate if I could view the cumulative time billed to each code over a particular period. While certain members of our organization can see this info as administrators, my team has to keep track of this information separately.

### "I do not recommend ADP"

October 28, 2025

I don't like ADP. I've used it at 3 different companies over the last 10 years and my last experience with it was very poor.

Pros

ADP does have a lot of functionality to accomplish all of your primary HR management and payroll functions.

Cons

ADP is hard to use. The app is almost always down and they seem to have multiple versions of their app, so you never know what website or app you're supposed to be using. If you're not careful you'll login in to the wrong one and won't be able to find what you're looking for. Logging in and accessing the information is always hard.

Great value and functionality. ADP has a very reliable and secure website as well. There are a few things I would improve, but it's the best option for us on the market.

Pros

ADP is user friendly and has a lot of cross-functionality with our benefits administration. We have no plans to switch at the moment and are happy with service and our rep. Our employees can access all of their statements as PDF's and also do open enrollment.

Cons

Employees have to do a few extra steps to request time off. The pop-out menu is a little clumsy for requesting PTO.

### "Reliable HR and Payroll Management Platform"

May 19, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with ADP Workforce Now has been positive. It helps streamline payroll, time tracking, employee management, and reporting. Once you become familiar with the system, it is reliable and helps keep HR and payroll information organized. It is a good platform for businesses that want to manage workforce-related tasks more efficiently.

Pros

ADP Workforce Now is very useful for managing payroll, employee information, time tracking, and HR tasks in one place. The system is organized, easy to access, and helps save time compared to handling everything manually. I also like that reports can be generated when needed, which makes it easier to review payroll and employee records.

Cons

Some features can take time to learn at the beginning, especially during setup or when trying to customize reports. The system can sometimes feel a bit complicated for new users, and customer support response times could be improved.

### "Confident in it's Features"

October 31, 2025

4.0

ADP is a well recognized platform. I had the opportuntiy to use this platform in a private organization and it was used daily. When employees came into work they managed their start, lunch, break, and end times. The environment consisted of heavy scheduling and ADP made it easy to have set schedules or create schedules as needed. Also, based on hours, taxes, and payroll deductions entered throughout the year it provided us with accurate paystubs, and W-4 documents in a quick and easy manner.

Pros

ADP has a lot of good features that are easy to use. The features I have used were scheduling, time tracking, and management of payroll and paystubs. These features were easy to use as an employee and as an administrator. Being able to gather and distribute information was made easy because of this platform.

Cons

Some cons to this system were the timing of receiving critical information. There have been time where the system has gone down and employees were not able to put there hours in only in a timely manner which caused delays in payroll or for manual entry after a payroll cycle has closed.
