Pros Very intuitive system; easy to use and easy for employees to access their own information. Cons We were sold their Next Gen app and we really don't need it as it is incompatible with a number of systems we utilize and were told it would work with. Review Source MD Michael D. Its nice to be able to jump right in and to use and understand a program , without having any prior experience with it. Pros What stands out the most to me was the convenience of how the whole program operates and fits my needs as an employee. I couldn't think of a better program that I have used. Cons It would be cool to be able to customize the layout of the program to suit your style and needs but I haven't found that avaliable with any product similar to this one. Review Source KA Kelly A. It was always seamless an without complication. Its nice to have a platform that can be navigated without to much fuss. Pros I have never experience any problem with the software while using it. I was always able to access access it and if there was any maintenance on it I remember notified that there would be maintenance on the site and when it would be operable again. A great and seamless experience and would definitely recommend it and ensure a positive experience. Cons Nothing its a great product and service for those who are accessing payroll. Without being an expert on the software, it wasn't the best choice for my small company. I advise you ensure that the level of support you purchase is right for your company, both as an administrator and from an employee perspective. Pros The software was very robust, and the employee profiles and tracking were great. The ability to take an employee from recruiting to onboarding through employment was great if you choose to utilize all of those options. Cons The reporting was very difficult to handle, and since we are a smaller company we didn't have a specific point person to contact. Calling customer service every time I needed assistance was very long, tedious, resulted in getting a wide variety of answers on the same question, and a couple times it caused serious issues in our payroll. It is easy to use. Easy to enter hours, easy to submit vacation requests and easy to access pay statements. Pros I used many different payroll programs in my working career and I like ADP the best. I like that you can submit your timesheet and time off request in one easy app. It is easy to see your time off request and which ones have been approved for denied by your manager. Cons One thing I would improve about ADP Workforce Now is I wish the upcoming pay statement would be available a few days before it currently does. Since we decided to do co-employment with them in order to get the cheaper benefits we are now stuck to using them long term. Pros It has been helpful to have all data in one place. Cons Their support services are terrible. We are supposed to have a dedicated person to help us, we've had 3 in a year. They have never been responsive. The system regularly goes down. Our staff constantly have issues with clocking in and out because the app freezes and doesn't work. The online system for staff is clunky and not intuitive. Updates are nice, when there were some vacation time glitches. Pros Self-service of changes is awesome and ideal. Less work for HR and less time spent knowing my personal finances. Cons Our HR team doesn't use the document features too well. It's a jumbled mess on the home page. Maybe tools to help them set it up better.... Oh, one suggestion, we now have incremental time off, where everyone gets a set vacation at the start of the year (not from last years worked hours). Clocking in and out, timecard adjustments and getting paid was very easy. Pros It allows for easy remote time clock signing in and out even for 1099 employees. Pros I like that you're able to do payroll, as well as find potential candidates. The ADP software also helps you weed out all of the bad applicants, by giving them a pass or fail. However, from an IT/reporting standpoint, we have been disappointed with the lack of options in automating the export of data. Pros The best feature of ADP Workforce Now is the ease of use for our end users to gather their own data. As a manufacturer, the majority of our employees do not easily have an opportunity during the workday to access their payroll and tax records. So, having easy access from their home computers is essential. We have employees with a wide range of systems and ages (from old Windows PCs to top-of-the-line Macbooks) at home, and we do not run into problems with users with any of these system accessing on their own. Cons Unfortunately, as great as the end-user access is for this software, our issues have been related to setting up any kind of automated data extraction. For the purposes of automated in-house reports, there are certain pieces of information from the ADP system that we need to pull on a weekly basis. However, our plan with ADP allows no such data export to be automated. We have had to fall back to using macro automation tools to log into the website, proceed to the appropriate menu pages, and click certain buttons to download the data. For such a large and widespread system, the lack of an easy way to extract data automatically is an unacceptable oversight. Reason for choosing ADP Workforce Now ADP Workforce Now was considered to be the easiest transition for our HR and Accounting departments, as we wanted minimum loss of time during the implementation. Everything is in a logical location and maintains compliance. Cons There are some instances where functionality isn't necessarily the easiest - the message center can be a bit tough to navigate and I've had a couple of times where unread messages will continue appearing as unread even though I clicked through them. For the most part I'd say I've been very happy with ADP, it's just a couple of minor things like that that pop up from time to time. CEO Recreational Facilities and Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Implementation Failure & Fraudulent charges" January 23, 2024 1.0 I consider the actions of ADP to be on the verge of fraudulent and at the very least negligent. When we attempted for months to resolve issues we were told we did it wrong. The issue was ultimately only resolvable by a person on their end. Once it was resolved it resurfaced 3 months later. Now they are only willing to refund 50% of the fees. This leaves more than $20,000 in fees on us due to incorrect setup. We are considering legal action and are interested in other companies with similar experiences. Pros We liked the ability to have all documents and info in one place for an employee. Cons Continual glitches and resurfacing of problems that have ben "fixed". Implementation guidance was basically non-existent or totally incorrect. We suffered through ADP employee turnover that led to incorrect setup which led to thousands of fees that were inappropriate. Right now, I am using it to manage time cards for our fleet mostly and it's great for that. Pros It is very user friendly. It is really easy to customize to your needs so you can group certain employees for certain functions. Cons There's a lot of menus to look through. The ability to load new employees through Excel import was great and the custom reporting has been a life saver as well. Pros I LOVED their customer support. Calling into the center was always easy and the representatives always took their time in helping me figure out what I needed to do (usually some type of report). The system is easy to use and understand quickly. The ability to customize the system was also a great feature. Cons Though customization is great, it can be a blocker when you do not have an ADP "guru", of sorts, on the team to help figure out and own how your ADP instance flows. The tool also take care of W2 and other tax related details. In term of my organization it provide me with a details information about the hierarchy of the organization and who is doing what. In terms of salary insight it gives me detail explanation about what is going where in my salary with a very nice representation in graphs and pi chart. Cons The least is like about the software is time entering for my shift. I wish there some automated way where I could easily input my time card.
