It has been great, the implementation team and standard support are always very quick to resolve issues.

Pros

Payroll was quite the process before having an all in one system for time and attendance and payroll processing. Now it is very smooth and having all of our employee data in one place is great!!

Cons

It is a more expensive option but the expandability for future growth and top rate security offset this in my opinion.

The need for staff to go to their supervisor to get their PTO balance has been eliminated with the use of the self service portal. the staff feels more empowered to take control of their profiles with any updates they need to make.

Pros

We have changed finance managers 4 times in the last 5 years. For the periods of time that we had no finance manager, I was the person tasked with all things HR and payroll related. Let me tell you, this is outside of my normal workflow but I had to get my people paid. The software is straight forward, click and go, easy to use. Even for those of us that are not payroll or HR professionals. With the COVID hit, there was an added layer of complexity to entering payroll for those out sick. The ADP team did a wonderful job on providing resources and updating those resources often. there is online learning, on demand learning and always a friendly calm voice on the other end of the phone when a would frantically call for help. It's not just the software, it's the people behind it that make it all work smoothly. Tracking PTO is also a HUGE benefit to our employees. the days of " how much time off do I have ? " are long gone. We have encouraged all of our employees to use the self service portal for any changes to their profile thus cutting down on internal paperwork and the need for data entry. It's been a game changer for us.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything that I would change about it. The communication via email is amazing and I always know what is going on with my processes.

We switched from Paychex to ADP as we outgrew the Paychex platform. Happy with the switch, despite the occasional headache.

Pros

I like that ADP gives you complete control over all aspects of HR & Payroll within workforce now.

Cons

Because it is so customizeable, there can be issues getting feaetures working or fixed. Also, the sales and implementation team are hard to get ahold of once paperwork is finalized. They seem to disappear and work on their own schedule without feedback, regular updates on progress, etc.

One more positive, is they let us out of our contract earlier than we were signed up for. Nothing like being locked into a contract you don't want to be in. When ADP saw how many problems we were having, they honored our request to part ways and find another solution. That's a positive service recovery approach.

Pros

ADP is built for payroll and even time keeping. Its a still got an old feeling format, but it does what it was made to do.

Cons

If you are looking for an all-in-one HR solution, ADP is not for you. I think all aspects outside of payroll and time keeping was acquired from somewhere else and bolted on. There are definitely better options out there for an all-in-one solution. The Customer service isn't great either.

Setting up an account was a breeze and finding my W-2 and past paychecks (for mortgage refinance, etc) is so helpful and was really easy to do

Pros

I love that ADP makes it so easy for my company to send out paychecks and bonus checks quickly and easily is a fantastic employee benefit. One of those benefits that works behind the scenes and we barely know it's there

No real cons that I can think of, it's so helpful and easy for employees and our management to use

I have nothing positive to say about ADP. I believe our company had good intentions of utilizing this software, but it has been nothing but a headache for us.

Pros

Once you're able to find the information, ADP is comprehensive and has employee's information readily accessible in several areas. I think the only positive thing I have to say about this system is that you're able to reset your login password yourself, as opposed to an administrator having to do it.

Cons

There are so many things that I do not like about this software - some of the main areas of concern/difficulty: 1. There are entirely too many "widgets" to navigate through to get to the information. Information can be accessed in so many different ways, it's confusing to find what is most efficient. Personally, I think two options is a reasonable approach. It seems like we're always finding new ways to get to the same information, as opposed to it being streamlined. I don't like all the options - we have been using ADP for almost a year now and I STILL do not know how to find certain information. 2. I am an administrator and have access to an entire team (300+ employees) information. Our employer thought that ADP would work to streamline things and make accessing their information easier. Unfortuantely, I have to go through many windows and "filters" to find the information I'm looking for. 3. There are ghosts in the system that we have not been able to determine why they keep happening. For example, we have several employees we keep entering schedules for, and despite saving them, entering them through different administrators, those employees schedules WILL NOT save. 4. This system's effectiveness is largely reliant upon a company's own data entry procedures. Someone, somewhere, is entering my team's information incorrectly. As a result, I will randomly come across employees who have been misentered into the system and our IT department has to resolve.

I have used ADP payroll in different companies throughout my Human Resources career. It has gone from a great payroll program to an amazing, easy to use payroll and people management tool that blows the competition away. I cannot imagine running our companies Human Resources Department without it. Over the last year, ADP Workforce Now has updated and improved its entire program. There is online training at your fingertips. Employees can easily manage their individual information by using the many self-service features. The mobile app is easily downloaded from an android or apple phone and allows employees to have access to their payroll information anytime and from almost anywhere. The payroll process is easy to manage and reports are easy to access or create. This allows managers and employees to have accurate information at their fingertips which in turn helps them make decisions based on real-time information. I cannot say enough good things about ADP Workforces Now! Go with the best -- you will be glad you did.

Pros

The many features if offers. It is easy to use. The support is at your fingertips and if you cannot find the answer, you can pick up the phone and real people are there to help. This is just the beginning of the wonderful software packages amazing features.

Cons

There are so many features built into the software and it is sometimes difficult to know everything that is available. Also, when you add some new features it seems like there is a lot of add on costs. I think it would be best to be able to pick from a variety of package features up front. Maybe spending more time learning the needs of the company upfront and setting up the software to meet those needs upfront would help keep costs lower.

My overall experience with ADP Workforce Now is nice and very neutral. I feel like using this is nice and doable to use for working. Also, to know information on work related

Pros

I like the ADP where you can clock in, clock out, timecard, the payroll system, how much to get paid, and also, to see how the pay breaks down in total. I like ADP.

Cons

As for the one con I do have in regards of ADP Workforce Now, I'd say sometimes I am unable to clock in and clock out. I don't know why but perhaps the Wifi area or could be connection lags.

Pros

Was easy to get this payroll system up and running for my personal needs. Submit direct deposit, pull W-2s, keep track of PTO

Cons

The system can be a little clunky to navigate through when you're first starting it, but once you get the hang of it it's user friendly

My over all experience with ADI is that I have no problems, I've used it for over 5 years and really have no complaints.

Pros

I like that it's easy to log in and use & keep track of time, PTO, Leave and any other time that is requested.

Cons

The only thing I don't like is that when the system is down it takes FREVER to get it fixed. For example, last month ADI was down for almost 2 weeks, so I had to manually keep track of my clock in & lunch time to make sure everything was accurate for payday & our checks were still short.

With the daily issues that arise with the software I can't speak to it being that big of a benefit as of yet. A lot of the issues that I bring to the teams attention I often get the response that "everything is setup correctly, I am not sure what the issue is" it is very frustrating to have spent hours upon hours setting up each individual module to your organizations needs for the features to all of a sudden stop working and none of the representatives are able to give you answers nor follow-up with you regarding a resolution to any of your issues. So at this time I would say the only real benefit I have found thus far is electronic PTO tracking.

Pros

What I most like about the software is that I am able to house all employee data in one place and the analytics dashboard is extremely helpful when looking at measurable data to base company performance on.

Cons

What I like least about the software is that all modules are ran on separate platforms. Specifically the ATS and Workforce Now. This makes it very confusing for candidates when having to create two separate credentials when logging in. The software is very glitchy and I find that random features will stop working for a period of time and then randomly come back. The on boarding process when creating activities is not all encompassing causing you to still use paper forms, specifically when it comes to the I-9 and State Tax Form. The ATS module needs some updates in order to be competitive with other ATS softwares. The inability to customize a lot of the fields to your organizations needs can be very frustrating and with the constant software updates the changes are hard to keep up with and you aren't given a choice whether to if you want the new software update features. Specifically speaking, in order to most efficiently hire a candidate after the interview process it would be nice to do this electronically but you need personal information that the system doesn't require. Our ATS was setup requiring that a physical address was entered upon applying then all of a sudden I noticed that candidates weren't supplying this information and to my surprise this feature was taken away causing our organization to now have to find a work around receiving an employees physical address, SS number and date of birth before entering them into the system to be able to send them on-boarding.

The system has easy to track timesheets, both the hours and the supervisor and employee approvals. This is important as a Government Contractor. Having a system that works as smoothly as this makes growing as a company much easier and limits the amount of staff that we have to hire to process the payroll and the HR functions. Having a customer support team for payroll questions and reporting questions helps greatly. I have always found ADP's reporting support staff the most knowledgeable about their department and have always given me great help.

Pros

The reporting system is is easier to use than other systems I have used in the past. Also, I like how the HR functions, employee service items, the payroll system, and the timesheet system flow well together. The reporting system makes it easy to run reports over several companies, for several years, and for active and terminated employees. I've used other popular payroll processors software which limited the reports to only 1 year at a time. I like how easy it is for employees to access their paystubs, access past w-2s, and make changes to some of their information. Having the view available for pay stubs and w-2s has cut down on phone calls. The payroll system is very easy to use. Recent upgrades have placed fields in a better arrangement for viewing several fields of an employee record at the same time. I find the timesheet system mostly easy to use for our employees.

Cons

There are too many, too frequent upgrades. I've experienced reports losing formatting during the upgrade and have to repair them or reach out to ADP to repair them. Also, there have been several periods of downtime hours this year where the system has crashed and almost all of these are following an upgrade. The security portion of the system can be a bit tricky and not very user friendly, although, some improvements have been made in recent upgrades. Also, the phone app for the timesheet system is a bit lacking in functionality, although, this too has seen some recent upgrades.

One of the BEST experiences I have had with a company - everyone is so friendly too when I need help with something.

Pros

How easy it is to use as an administrator as well as an employees. How I only need 1 login for both of my accounts and I am able to do pretty much anything and everything with the access I have. Very rarely is it hard to find or figure something out on my own where I need to ask an employee.

Cons

I can't say there is anything I don't like about this product. I love ADP a lot more then when we were with Paychex.

Overall it's a good program. It's something we use and I'm not currently looking for any other way to log my time.

Pros

It's got mobile features so you can clock in on your phone instead of waiting to get to your computer. Sounds small but waiting for your computer to start up can be several minutes and I want to get paid for every second I'm in the office.

Cons

Sometimes the internet connection can go in and out within my firm. I think it's more of a firm thing rather than a ADP thing. But sometimes ADP does go down and I'm not sure why.

I really appreciate the stability and ease-of-use with ADP WorkforceNow. I know that no matter where I work, as long as they use ADP WorkforceNow, I already know how to handle my needed administrative tasks. Whether I need to request new time off, see my paycheck or set up my benefits, I know that I can get my needed tasks taken care of in as few clicks as possible, so that I can quickly get back to my job. I would recommend ADP WorkforceNow to anyone that needed a robust HR admin software system.

Pros

I've been using ADP WorkforceNow for payroll and tax information for the past 15 years and I'm constantly impressed with how seamless the ease of use is. I have my account set up to receive an e-mail when my paycheck is available, and it's reassuring to know that that e-mail will be there around midnight on payday. The last two places that I've worked have also used ADP WorkforceNow for time off requests and Benefits setup. The time off request process is so straight forward and it is easy to manage my requests. I can put new requests in and manage (delete or edit) existing requests with just a couple of clicks. Using ADP WorkforceNow has taken one less stressor out of managing my paycheck and time off requests at my workplace. Also, the Benefit setup process is streamlined and easy to go as fast or as slow as needed in order to make sure I'm making the right decisions for my circumstances.

Cons

At my previous job, any approved time off requests would be sent to my calendar as a meeting request from ADP WorkforceNow. This was a great feature, as it automatically blocked my calendar for me. That feature does not seem to be available at my current company and it would be nice if it was just standard, no matter what company used the software.

It’s a great website and covers most if not all of your company’s needs for management.

Pros

I love how intuitive most of the application is as well as useful for more than just payroll. You can manage your paystubs for all companies you’ve worked for that use ADP, do PTO and Sick time and any other options your company had added on the very intuitive calendar, manage health benefits, handle performance reviews, and more.

Cons

Some times the site was a little buggy. Things would take a long time to load, for example, or wouldn’t load at all. They could up their maintenance a little. The other thing was the messaging system for notifications. It was the most confusing part of the app though luckily not one I used much.

Onboarding has been smooth and very professional.

Pros

ADP has so many sections that will take care of all aspects of our HR/Payroll world. We were able to combine 3 separate platforms into ADP and now it is so much easier to keep our records up to date.

Cons

Small stuff - like adjusting taxes so that the employer can pay all the tax - but I hear that there is a fix in the works. Also sending fill-able forms out to existing employees for signature. Right now it is only available in the Onboarding Process, but I hear that it is coming soon to Company Documents.

Reason for choosing ADP Workforce Now

ADP was a more robust Payroll/HR system. I was able to combine 3 platforms into one and saved money too.

My overall experience with ADP is very positive. They keep me abreast via emails with any and all upcoming changes, maintenance times, and new products. I appreciate the fact that their customer service team listens to our needs and helps quickly with whatever we may need.

Pros

ADP offers a significant amount of options for all sizes of companies. I have used ADP for 20+ years and have had excellent results especially with the ease of use, maneuvering around the site, the ability to update and provide info the employees when they log into the system to clock in. This gives each employee the ability to see news at the same time as everyone else. The benefits tool is also very beneficial as it is an excellent tracker for all of the benefits and benefit options given to the employees. Customer service is very responsive and works with our HR manager well.

Cons

I do not see a negative with ADP products, as long as the customers handling it's program use, takes the time to look at all of the functionality ADP offers so the use of the products are used to their full potential

I have had a great experience using adp and when I switch companies I was very happy they also use ADP workforce

Pros

I love the fact that you can clock in from the app. You can also see a break down of your pay and your hours throughout your pay periods.

Cons

I don’t have any cons but one thing I don’t like is that adp has the option of paying out bi monthly. I personally hated that I only got paid on the 7th and 26th it was too long in between pay periods they should only offer biweekly and weekly in my opinion
