As a maker, most of our representatives don't effectively have a chance during the workday to get to their finance and expense records. Along these lines, having simple access from their home PCs is fundamental. We have workers with a wide scope of frameworks and ages (from old Windows PCs to first in class Macbooks) at home, and we don't run into issues with clients with any of these framework getting to all alone. Cons Beginning the entire interaction on occasion can be troublesome. With my latest boss who utilized ADP there was a miscommunication among HR and the organization bringing about falsehood and awful data in regards to join to the application/program. Pros I'm struggling to come up with anything positive. We switch to ADP from Paycor and have had a terrible experience. Cons This software is terrible compared to Paycor. It's outdated, slow and the UI doesn't make it easy to navigate through even to do small tasks. You have to click through multiple pages compared to simple things in Paycor. For example, employees requesting time off requires filling out a very confusing form with a strange calendar chooser and then your supervisor to approve the day off doesn't get notified right away and then when the message does finally come through, there is no actionable "approve"button in the notification so it's just frustrating and slow. It is also convenient if I need to find pay stubs, a W-2, as well as my Personal Time Off (PTO). Pros I like the fact that on Thursday evening before my paycheck is in my bank account, I am able to go on ADP and see my pay stub. ADP also tracks my personal time off that has accrued. Pros It is widely used by many organizations and has interfaces with different portals/software. I like the ability to contact help via phone and screen-sharing. Cons Our company has had issues with Open Enrollment, Benefits set-up, Custom Reporting not being able to help get needed data, data tracking, Carrier Feed interruptions... the list is very long. There has not been one aspect of working with ADP which has been easy. As a smaller business, not having a dedicated representative to help us has been very difficult. We have gotten conflicting answers, to the same issue, from different ADP representatives. Overall, the experience with ADP can be summed up by long wait times, incomplete answers, ineffective solutions and an overall inefficient use of time. Review Source Candice S. Pros i love using the ADP website. There is so many discounts you can get just being with ADP. i can see my checks, my taxes, my FMLA paperwork and any other important information just by using the site. Cons Though ADP is ever evolving, it often changes once you're used to its features and placement of searchable tabs. Also, the mobile app is not as robust as it could be. I usually never have a problem in using it. Pros My company uses this software for HR functions with annual reviews to timcards and payroll. It is multi-functional and I like all the different things I can access in one database. There is a little bit of a learning curve to entering your time on the timecard, but not too bad. I also like that I can access it from home or on my phone with the app. Very convenient to be able to approve my timecard in time for a pay period if I had forgot to do it when in the office. Cons I am just a user of this software but I can tell there are even more features that my company does not use. HR uses it to sign up for annual benefits and that can be a confusing process and to make sure you've made all the choices correctly. Review Source SM Sean M. Other than that it is an easy site to use and has a lot of great information stored for me that I can access easily! Pros when logged in it is easy to find all your information, such as your 401k plan, all of your pay stubs, the breakdown of your paychecks and your vacation days and sick days. I enjoyed the perks of being an ADP member. They had several special coupons/ discounts fir ADP users which came in handy when I wanted to try and save a few extra bucks on some Apple products! Cons The interface to request days off is very confusing. I ended up requesting the wrong days off or using vacation days instead of my free personal days, etc. and so that was frustrating. There is no easy way to update or change what days you have requested off or what kind of day you are requesting (vacation or sick day, etc.) without completely deleting it and resubmitting it. I also often had trouble logging my hours for the week in the system, oftentimes the pay period was locked on past weeks so I would not be able to input my hours worked. Review Source Chelsie M. Pros I like that it has the capability of clocking in and out directly from the site if needed for working from home. April 10, 2019 5.0 Pros I love this software because it makes keeping track of hours so easy. All you have to do is login and click a button. No more writing down hours and forgetting to email your boss your hours for payroll. This automatically calculates your hours worked and any overtime or paid time off. I highly recommend using to keep track of employees! Cons It’s only effective if you make an effort to use it. It needs to be the first and last thing you do each day! So if you don’t make it a habit, it can be extra work to whoever has to edit your account hours each time you forget to clock in or out. You are forcing me to type 100 characters and there are NO PROS with your software! Cons The customer service wait times over 1 hour hold times! The response time from Account Mgr is awful! The quality of your customer service reps that are not your account manager (Very POOR) The inability to talk to someone past 5PM Inability to talk to someone in the tax department to resolve tax matters. Controller Oil & Energy Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Still disappointed" December 21, 2021 2.0 I like my support team, unfortunately at times their hands are tied and I am left waiting for months or a resolution. 1 resolution that I am waiting on has now gone on for 6 months. Pros The only pro that I can say is that customer service is pretty sharp. The sad part is that I need them too often Cons When taxes are changed and one has customized reports by ADP that ADP can only fix, you have to remind them to fix them. Also if you have a rehire you have to be careful about garnishments as sometimes they do not get processed because of back end issues.
