June 7, 2017 2.0 I have dealt with adp for many years before now and had never had these issues just seems like something is going on internally in which there is no one manning the ship you can barely get a manager on the phone. Pros If you have a very straight forward small organization and barely need an HRIS system (not sure many companies fir into this) then this can work for you. Cons Terrible customer service, terrible turnaround time for any changes, not customizable, no after hour service for payroll processing, much of their staff is too new to even understand what you might need, did not submit our taxes on time causing issues with our bank accounts and freezes, and finally their system is always down (time and attendance one day, reports another) which they blame on scheduled maintenance (In the middle of a work day?). September 3, 2019 5.0 Our employees complained that they want to be able to view their pay statements on their mobile device instead of getting the hard copy. ADP gave me the solutions to this issue. ADP implemented a system called iReports. Employees can now view their Pay Statements on a secure web site. Pros ADP software is a user friendly software. My payroll processing is always done with ease and comfort. ADP has the solutions to all my payroll issues that needed resolving. It also gives you a warning if your entries are incomplete or it needs correcting. Cons The least I like about this software is, if you keep it idle for more than half an hour or more, it will boot you out of the program. ADP Reports are the best as well. Reports are easy to read and they are easy to understand.ADP, you have my loyalty as a customer. ADP has also the best staff. Your customer service people are so kind, polite and helpful at all times. " June 2, 2018 3.0 Pros It is fairly intuitive in use and allows for the user to have more ownership over their information (address changes, tax withholding, resetting their password). Cons There is very little option for customization other than for reporting. Pros I like how easy ADP Workforce Now is to use. It's very intuitive. I like how the employee profiles are broken up into different parts like "Pay profile" so you can access just what you need, not too much. Cons I don't dislike anything. ADP mobile app is one of my all time favorite app to open weekly or bimonthly, because I can see all of my pays in one place, easy to track. The app is user-friendly, you just need to setup your information one-time and then everything will fall to its place. When you open the app, your pay, federal withdrawing, etc. will appear to let let you see what have been deducted and what is your gross pay. You also have an option to display your pay or opt to hide it. Cons I dont think I have any least favorite of ADP Workforce since this is my most favorite software to use. Updated repot functionality was great, but there is still room for improvement (see below). Loved the compliance reporting functionality! Cons Room for improvement in what fields are reportable - all fields in the EE profile should be reportable. This would make the reporting functionality a lot more robust. March 5, 2020 5.0 I enjoy accessibility I have to my PTO, health insurance benefits and my payroll information that this program offers. I use it on a daily basis. Pros This software makes scheduling days off in advance very easy. It also calculates the amount of Vacation and Sick time you will have at the time of scheduling. I like to know how much sick/vacation time I have accumulated when I plans days off months in advance. It is every easy to change banks accounts for direct deposits as well. You can easily look up your health insurance coverage and what you are enrolled in for the year as well. Cons We have to do performance reviews yearly at our organization. The overall platform for the Performance Reviews can be a little confusing to complete. You may need assistance from a direct supervisor depending on the performance review questions. I have managed a team of up to 15 members, generally including the payroll function. I have worked with several version of ADP over the years, mostly midsize companies ranging from 160-450 employees. Pros Widely used, accurate calculations and there is a customer support center for questions on just about everything. Cons Many times, the wait for customer service is long and at times we've have gotten inexperienced reps and are not transferred to more qualified reps in a timely manner, delaying the resolution of the issue. March 19, 2021 5.0 Overall, I think this is the best tool in the industry, especially from a human resources perspetive. Pros ADP is an incredibly powerful tool for all employees within my company. Here are the features that I find most important about ADP: - The registration process when you accept a job offer is incredibly easy and hassle-free. - All tax forms (W-2, W-4, etc.) are available online. - Employees are able to clock in and out from remote locations. - All of the benefits that my organization offers are located in one place. Cons The Mobile Application has fewer features than the desktop software and needs to be better developed. Customer Service Associate Telecommunications Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Used ADP with 3 jobs and was always impressed" April 1, 2021 5.0 Pros First of all I never had an issue getting into or navigating the system/app. It’s very helpful in showing your paycheck with detailed information regarding how much $, the amount of hours paid, and how much paid for specific reasons I.e. paid time off, sick leave, overtime, etc. it also allows me to receive my W-4 online wayyyy before I’d receive it via the mail which obviously allows me to file taxes and receive a refund sooner than most. It also has features such as easily changing the amount of dependents and how much the IRS withholds from each check. Cons I really don’t have any cons I can think of. June 27, 2017 4.0 Pros First - ADP is always making changes and improvements to their web-based software. (Also - the fact that it's web-based enables our managers to run payroll for their department even when not in the building.) In the past few years we've been using ADP, the portal gets more and more user-friendly, with a clean large-buttoned home screen. Their customer service is second-to-none; we rarely have an issue getting through to someone (occasional long hold times) and every representative we've spoken to has always been helpful and friendly. They also do a great job of updating their software to keep up with the latest in ACA rules and regulations as well. Cons We self-file our taxes, and each quarter we have to specifically request ADP provide certain reports. We would prefer the reports be automatically available either via their main portal or through the iReporting software. No longer in role so system may have improved" November 18, 2021 4.0 It was a good solution when we signed up as it was creating capabilities we didn't have before. Unfortunately, it was not properly set up originally, so our basic need was difficult to manage. I view it as ADP's responsibility to install an appropriately configured system (especially if the client isn;t sure how to use the system) As our business systems and planning needs grew, it couldn't grow with us. Pros As an employee portal, it was great. Easy access to important information that employees needed. Cons The time tracking elements were dated and any tweaks/customizations required technical assistance which 1) took time and 2) often didn't result in what we wanted. We had to roll back a number of changes because they took away the basic functionality we needed. In reality, the simplified interfaces were not robust enough for a growing, engineering company. It would be fine for more manufacturing-based "clocking in and out of jobs" companies. March 19, 2019 5.0 Easy to use software to quickly clock in and out for work. The breakdown of each pay period and pay check was super easy to read and keep track of. Overall a great tool for the employees! Pros Clocking in and out was super quick and easy. I also liked that I could log in from anywhere to check my time card, so I was still able to verify my times while traveling away from the office. Cons Sometimes there would be glitches with clocking in and I wouldn't be able to record my time stamp. But when this happened, my manager was easily able to fix my time card to reflect the correct clock in or clock out time. Review Source AT Alexis T. August 25, 2019 5.0 My overall experience with WorkforceNow has been great and it has been great having to not receive paper copies of my paystubs, as now I just download the digital version for my own records. Pros Most people think ADP WorkforceNow is just for employers to handle HR-related activities. However, they don't realize that they can often also use it to keep track of their own paychecks and stubs as well. I have used WorkforceNow many times and have found it extremely useful. I always use it to get my paystubs and I can easily find them on ADP. This is such a cool tool because that way I don't have to waste paper due to being mailed physical copies and can just digital copies on my computer! Cons What I like the least about this software is that besides getting my paystubs, there is not much else that I particularly need ADP WorkforceNow for. My State (CA) requires crazy stuff for hourly workers, so I need to navigate that, but ADP works well nonetheless. " July 17, 2018 4.0 This was the longest standing time card software that we used at my company until a few different less expensive options took its place. I still miss this software. Pros I like how dependable it is, There's a reason that many companies use this software and use it to process payroll. Cons I think some of the previous builds didn't look as nice on the UI side as they could have. Otherwise I was quite familiar with the UI after updates were made.
