### "Updates are a pain"

Overall it's a good system. They're giant for a reason. But the customer service is a challenge. I have sat on the phone or on hold for 2+ hours on many occasions.

Pros

All-encompassing HRMS if you want it - makes the employee lifecycle much easier. The system is fairly intuitive and user friendly once you work in it.

Cons

Updates are full integrations, which is a huge frustration and time consumer. CA payroll rules are hard to comply with because the system isn't smart enough to manage all the rules. In my experience, there's quite a bit of manual manipulation. Customer service is a big challenge...

### "ADP Workforce Now"

We use ADP Workforce Now for benefits, ACA, time off, and are just starting electronic performance evaluations. It's pretty easy to use for employees and for HR administrators. To be honest, at this time last year, I was disappointed with the ACA module, because there were lots of problems when it was new. But ADP fixed almost all of the issues, and our 1095 forms were very smooth this year. We chose ADP for our performance evaluations because of it's simplicity, and because it is easier for managers to go to one place for all of their employee needs. There were other performance evaluation systems that had more "bells and whistles" but sometimes those bells and whistles can confuse some of the users in the field.

Pros

I like having all of the employment modules on one site.

Cons

ADP can be an expensive option, but they are very good at what they do.

### "Too big?"

Frustrating - we can never get the entire system to work completely. We have a complicated CBA and we can not always get the Time and Attendance to do what we need without a lot of manual manipulation.

Pros

The software allows for a lot of HR functions to be in a central location - supplicant tracking, onboarding, I-9 verification, employee document storage, etc.

Cons

The systems do not connect with each other well. Changes made in Payroll or Time and Attendance do not always flow to the other system. Making changes in the system is not always an intuitive process and involves many steps.

On the past few years we are growing a lot, that been said, the time that we make a over 1200 employees payroll is amaizing, all the reports that are available is great, also comparing the price with other similar you will apreciate your actual quote.

Pros

The way it comunicate with our POS system (is where we have the timer for our employees), also the ability to download all the info, and the customer support are very profesional, they help us to make a weekly report so we upload all the resume with our accounting soffwarr, amaizing

Cons

We have a minor problem, most of the problem was a bad comunication about how to terminate a employee, so for a few months we where overpay adp because we never terminate our employees the way should bee, but at the end ADP make us a credit so we get our money back, nice to have someone on your sitr

Pros

I love using this software because I have used it to look at processed paystubs that I got paid from different contractors. It is very simple and easy to use and I highly recommend using this program

Cons

There are not many things not to like about the software because it does what it’s meant to. It’s pricing is a tad bit expensive but it is worth it because the program is widely available and used by many companies

I used to like how it looked now its appearance is annoyed everything flipped from its original appearance.

new time punch feature doesnt let you see the time you clocked out or in unless you start searching. this is a time waster.

I like how I can manage a teams time and payrool. I love it as an employee to check my time & money.

I dont like having to download my pay statement. I would like to pull up a digital copy without downloading.

The rollout and implementation were rocky. It took over a week to implement. The customer service provided to assist in doing so was not to par.

Pros

WorkforceNow is a service that can be used either on a computer smartphone as an app, allowing easy access for both employers and employees. Payroll submission is rather easy and all documents are accessible electronically.

Cons

ADP is an unusal company to do business with. There are two divisions of service and they have no communication with one another. WorkforceNow markets its self as a small business HR solution, but unless you are super vigilant, you probably won't be aware of everything you are paying for. The services are sold in bundles and many of those services are not going to be used. You cannot customize the services in the package as they are sold as a one size fits all. The division that markets to larger companies will often work with smaller companies and attempt to sell you packages that are optimized for much larger organizations without conscience of the fit.

Overall we have had a great experience with WorkforceNow. Having benefits, payroll and information pertaining to talent management all in one place is very convenient for HR and employees alike.

Pros

From an HR standpoint, ADP is great for compensation management, and talent management. It integrates seamlessly with Jobvite and has enabled us to completely streamline our on-boarding process. Compared to most HRIS systems, its ease of use is unparalleled. From the standpoint of a user being on-boarded, Workforce is great about sending reminders to elect benefits and offers a clear view into what benefits have already been chosen. It's also very easy to select vacation time and fill out timecards. I also love that you can see your compensation information and org chart.

Cons

When filling out timsheets, it sometimes gets confusing because you need to input hours using military time.

Pros

Useful for managers in managing team time off and attendance. ADP has made some strides in improving the product over the years.

Cons

When we first started using the product a few years ago, it was terrible. Continual difficulties logging in and relatively few useful features. Fortunately, ADP has made strady improvements and the product is now very useful and fairly straightforward.

The BEST! Easy Efficient Organized I would recommend this to any small, medium or large operation. Great management system for all employee benefits etc.

Pros

EASY! This is the best software for Clocking in and Clocking out. You can save to your desktop and pull up all of your information quickly. I used it for almost 2 years at a previous employer. I would recommend this to any company looking to switch providers or to start with. Great Software and Customer Service!

Cons

No bad things to say as a user other than the mobile app was a little slow and was down sometimes. Other than that I had no issues. Those issues would come with any software though.

Very happy with the product, the pricing, and the support staff.

Pros

We use WorkforceNow for a seamless integration of our Payroll, 401k, and Benefits management. Prior to implementing WorkforceNow, we had a disjointed selection of software and paper solutions to manage these critically important, employee impacting areas of our business. Bringing them together into a single, integrated platform has eased administration, and created a simplified experience for our employees. As impressed as I am with the technology, the ADP support staff is equally impressive. Whether it's calling into their support line, or just chatting with them from directly within the WFN application, they're quick to respond, professional in their approach, and knowledgeable about the product.

Cons

With as robust a product as WFN, the configuration options are seemingly limitless. With this comes a level of complexity that's difficult to avoid. While the product has supported all of our needs, sometimes getting to the right (correct) way to setup the solution within the product can be challenging.

### "Upgraded ADP version 12"

I have used ADP products since 2008. I have always loved ADP products and have actually taken them with me when I switched companies. This last upgrade is HORRIBLE. Nothing is "easy" to use. Every new "feature" has caused headaches and countless calls and hours on the phone with customer support to fix. Some of the problems I was told can not be fixed and to "leave product feedback" so the product team can take them into consideration. I am not at all happy !

Pros

The old ADP was AMAZING, so easy to use.

Cons

The NEW ADP is terrible very hard to customize reports, very hard to enter a new hire, too many fields of data to enter, the new ATS feature causes way too much confusion for new candidates. It's a very bad upgrade.

### "Great Software"

Pros

The software was very easy to use. I was able to view my hours, time off and pay stubs. Very convenient when printing off W2's and any and all annual statements. It made it very easy to keep up with online training and other certifications needed during employment. Submitting payroll from multiple departments was as easy as a few clicks.

Cons

Manually inputting hours, though rarely done, was a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it, no issues.

### "If you want more than clocking in and out, be ready..."

Accountability for time has become much easier along with vacation/sick approvals and tracking. that alone, in a company that never had it, was great and almost worth the large cost. The support is lacking however. The implementation was a disaster as well, as a direct result of very poor support and follow through. So much, in fact, it failed for us as a company in paying our employees on time by almost 2 days.

Pros

It really is a very intuitive app to use, as an end user, when it comes to tracking punches and time off requests.

Cons

On the administration end of things, it is big big mess. Lots of re-directs to people who are 'helpful' who end up moving us to other people for 'help'. lots of tail chasing and open-ended responses from support. Not our Rep, the Rep's support staff.

Overall, I have saved a lot of time when I need to obtain my documents from current or previous employment through this software. It has been reliable and I find it very useful in my experience. The portal for accessing information is easy to navigate, and customer service has been good when I had any concerns.

Pros

In my experience of using this software for over six plus years, I have always liked how easy-to-use this software is, and appreciate how I can find what I need on the very self access friendly portal. When I have reached out for assistance it had a fast turn around for responses. What I like most is the easy navigation and convenience in retrieving any documents I need sent to my email in great timing.

Cons

Though the software was still useful and I managed to figure out the error, when logging in at time it may be difficult only because I have had logins with various employment. However the password/username recovery process is simple and customer service is quick with this software. Other than this, there have not been many cons in my experience.

We use this product for payroll and to communicate info to employees.

Pros

ADP is an industry standard. Lots of companies use ADP so a lot of times employees are familiar with the system and it makes it easier to train.

Cons

The software has a mind of it's own. I have seen discrepancies in what administrators on the account can see in an employees profile versus what the employee who has a standard user account can see on their own profile. For example, there was a discrepancy in what an employee could see as their vacation balance versus what the admin could see. I understand that things can go wrong with technology, but it also doesn't help when customer service can't figure out the problem or the solution. Also, customer service makes promises to call you back but rarely do.

Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this for any business- particularly large organizations

Pros

Incredibly simple to use as a manager, including reporting that payroll day a breeze when trying to find corrections that need to be made. Staff and myself also loved what a breeze tax time was.

Cons

Not really a con, but just have to have your system set up to only allow your staff to clock in on their phone app when at your place of business. If not set up correctly, they can clock in when they are not actually on location.

We were very disappointed with ADP and will never work with them again.

Pros

The team that got us set up to use ADP were professional and helpful. Unfortunately, once you are set up, you get sent to a different set of people who are not so helpful.

Cons

The payroll features were pretty standard, but the reporting features were unacceptable. Any time we called customer service to get something updated or fixed, we ended up with people who didn't understand what we needed (and I feel like our needs were pretty basic).

we moved from Paylocity to ADP. Implementation was seamless. the product itself has a lot of information at my fingertips, just need to learn where to go to find it

Cons

there is a lot to this product. it takes the average person a few weeks to completely understand where to go to get the information you want.
