June 5, 2025 5.0 We have been using ADP for our company for several years now, it seems to be relatively effective. I don't have a lot of experience with other platforms. Pros Effective tool for managing days off (holiday) schedule, it works best when working from a desktop PC or laptop. Cons The mobile app for the program is not very effective when working from a phone, or tablet - some of the popup menus don't seem to work, not sure if/when requests are being made properly. Pros I like that it’s an all in one stop for back of house (payroll, inputting tips, etc) as well as for employees to access their employee info (accrued PTO, clock in times, etc) Cons It glitches A LOT on mobile, and the frequency it requires passwords to be changed makes it hard for employees to login. Payroll was also very easy to complete Cons When the app crashes ( very rarely) everything is down and needs to be entered manually later. Their kiosk is by far the best we've used so far - the least amount of glitches. Cons ADP's interface was very dated. It was hard to pull reports and customer service was very lacking. It was hard to get a hold of someone who could help with specific items. Pros What ADP Workforce Now does properly is getting everything together for anything relating to your benefits. I can keep track of my payroll and health care benefits. Cons I did not run into any problems while using ADP Workforce Now. The software worked quickly and didnt ever give me any error messages. She was there when I needed help and was amazingly helpful! Cons Certain staff in the organization worked multiple positions at different rates and for varying hours. This was something that had to entered manually because the system would not produce the correct results in hours or pay during a payroll period. That was frustrating. The mobile accessibility makes it a great choice overall. The reporting capabilities is also something to mention with this software since it makes printing detailed reports a breeze. Pros ADP Workforce is a very secure service that is essential to processing our biweekly payroll. I must say, it is very user friendly to the point that anyone with basic skills can figure out what to do. The few times I have contacted customer service to inquire on an issue, they have been great in resolve things quickly and efficiently. Cons The one issue I run into is with the employee access. Cons Cons of ADP Workforce Now is that it can be confusing to find what you're looking for. The categories aren't very specific. It does make you change your password really often which is annoying. Some times they make changes to things just to make changes. If the wheel isn't broken, don't try and fix it because a lot of the time, they just make it harder or more confusing. Pros Knowing that the taxes are calculated and paid on time. If there is an issue, it is up to ADP to fix it. Cons The fact that if you rehire a terminated employee, you have to create a whole new ID for them. You now have 2 files to review to get their history.
