March 17, 2025 5.0 My past two jobs have used ADP Workforce Now. I love that I can pull up so many details about my job, benefits, tasks, and resources. If I need to look at a paystub- it's there. If I have a question about work policies or paid holidays- it's all there. We just recently started using them for our retirement plans as well and it's great that I can literally go to 1 website for it all. I never have to wonder about my time off balances, benefits, upcoming enrollments, or many other things. Pros I love that I can check in on my time off balances, my pay statements, tax statements, benefits, and retirement account. Having everything in 1 place is so convenient. Cons We could not get their time off requests to function properly for our team. All managers must approve of time off requests and after many attempts ADP was not able to turn this feature on so managers would be email requests. It is much improved from the previous version my company was using. The only thing missing that I liked from before was being able to see the amount of your check coming the day before payday. Pros Now that I have been using it, I like the ease of completing PR. I enjoy the chat because it also allows me to work on something else while awaiting support to begin or finish researching my issue. Cons The frustration of why something happens from time to time continues to weigh on me. Having bad information relayed from chat is rough, but we continue muddling through! In addition, I think that the integrations help to improve efficiency, and it was a positive overall experience with the program. Pros The ADP Workforce Now features most frequently used by my company were the ADP report and payroll functionality. The report feature was helpful for determining the health of my department's budget. We could quickly gather essential data to determine whether we were on track or on budget. Payroll was easy to process and ensured our workers got paid on time, which is a major plus in my opinion. These features made managing and understanding all our people's data significantly easier. Cons Overall, the customer service was definitely delayed with responding at time. Some of the pricing was a bit higher than I had anticipated. However, I did find that the platform was a bit difficult to customize. There were definitely some customizations I had in mind that I simply couldn't do, which was a huge bummer. The platform has the potential to be extremely versatile, but it seemed like some of its features were really built with smaller businesses in mind. Pros I found ADP is one of the most efficient time tracking apps as far as payroll was concerned due to the fact that they have been a long time payroll company in my use in between the companies that I’ve used between. It has always proved to be very more efficient than most. Cons Some of the menus are buried and require too many clicks to get to the information you need. It works well, but the user interface could definitely be more modern and streamlined. Pros Ease of use availability of features and simplicity of being able to input all the information easily for each employee and then to process payroll, made it simplified Cons Remembering the login to tell all the employees and having to walk all of them through it because there’s so many different ADP website websites they were unsure of which one was the proper site for them to login via the payroll we were using. Pros All the tools for employee engagement. Learning library. The checks and balances with the entire system. Cons Too robust. The system treats subcontractors as employees instead of entities, like they have to download the adp app to review payments as if they are an employee with a paystub.
