### "Great Help Desk Solution for Small Teams"

November 13, 2019

4.0

Inherited Zoho Service Desk CRM for help desk tickets. If you're considering Zoho CRM because the price is right, make sure you have clear and precise department directories, support categories, clear SLAs, spelled out escalation points, and strategic auto-repliers and boiler plate email templates ready. If you don't have these already pre-established sit down with staff and discuss it first. You'll be much more successful cut and pasting these into a blank system than to muddle along. At first this system was just a email inbox with useless reporting and we couldn't keep track of progress. Overtime, with tough changes we were able to modify the system to handle tickets better (between maintenance tickets, auto generated tickets, and support requests) for more accurate department reporting of urgent issues, projects, and regular requests by category.

Pros

\- Great ticketing / response help desk solution that's free for small IT teams - Great automation for creating special filters, automation rules, and auto replies for anything that comes across your support@ address. - Great CRM tracking for monitoring customer responses, reporting tools, SLA alerting when nearing SLA deadlines, agent tracking KPI metrics, and ticket history tracking. - Great solutions archive and knowledge base which can be added to via the ticket itself - Great notification options including (email alerts, webhook integrations, and SMS text messaging.) - Nice tools for scheduling routine maintenance tasks which appear as tickets and count towards technician KPIs (as tickets). - Very secure portal, customer portal, 2 FA authentication options, and easy to manage UI

Cons

\- Takes some time to initially setup, defaults often aren't helpful. - Hard to understand webhook integration instructions, uncertain if two-way functionality is available for a Slack integration (if so, it'll be manual). - Need to watch for mail fetching often! If you aren't getting tickets after 6 hours, mail fetching is turned off and needs to manually be reset. No polling service, or automated mail fetching ping service so you need to make sure when doing exchange maintenance to remember to start this service when stopped.

Reason for choosing Zoho CRM

The cost for 5 or less technicians in a team was free so we opted for this over paid options. Has most of the features a help desk could need that was both a Cloud Hosted SaaS product.

### "An inexpensive yet powerful, feature-packed CRM "

November 16, 2022

4.0

Zoho CRM is made it so much easier to capture leads, and manage them properly in one space, leading to sales more often. I have no need to get another mail client or funnel, or spend time trying to add all leads from different platforms into one use boards and spreadsheets.I am very impressed with Zoho CRM and what it can do.

Pros

Zoho CRM is very easy to use, and also easy to customize to your liking. Features I like the most are the 1. lead/contact dashboard showing all activity for each contact and where they are in the sales pipeline. 2. Integration with Zoho mail and social media for immediate posting and communication, one-click calls and meeting schedules in the dashboard, 3. segmentation according to follow-up actions or campaigns and reporting.Integration with the rest of the Zoho Suite makes it so easy to use and set up everything with no third party software needed.

Cons

Zoho CRM is integrated with the rest of the Zoho Suite, which might add to your monthly subscription bill depending on what you are looking for. However, you can get an all-inclusive rate as well.Even though it is straight forward, there is a learning curve as with most software, but the tutorials really help a lot in this regard.

### "Zoho CRM Review: Cloud Based, Affordable and Feature Rich"

April 8, 2022

4.0

Zoho CRM is a customer relationship management system that is reasonably priced and offers a number of tools to help businesses improve their customer service. Zoho CRM's customized portals and workflow features allow businesses to enhance customer service, improve sales, and create new opportunities.

Pros

Customer relationship management software is a field with a wide range of solutions available, and Zoho CRM is one of them. Sales, marketing, project management, and customer service are the most popular features. It includes tools for information technology, finance, and customer service as well. All important parts of Zoho CRM come at an additional cost though. For example, if you want to have access to IT capabilities like trouble ticketing or help desk software, you need to pay extra for them. Even then though, they are all reasonably priced for the capabilities you have access to.

Cons

Overall, the website's user experience needs to be reworked. There are too many functions and features, which cause confusion and a high level of user interactions.

Zoho CRM was really helpful for my startup company's CRM.

Pros

The ability to capture and manage leads efficiently is crucial for businesses. Zoho CRM simplifies the lead acquisition process, ensuring that no leads are lost or overlooked.

Cons

While Zoho CRM offers a comprehensive set of features and functionalities, there may be a few areas that some I feel could be improved. I think there should be more advanced customization options and flexibility in certain areas of the software.

### "ZOHO CRM The right fit for a medium company."

February 21, 2017

5.0

I am a sales consultant and was asked to recommend the best CRM for a group of 3 companies, with around 50 persons each. After an evaluation of 15 initial products, Zoho CRM resulted the most adequate for this companies. The product itself is very easy to use, friendly user and extremely easy to adapt. In terms of price/performance, in my opinion is one of the best against other brands when you have a limited budget. It is basically design for pipeline management, activities tracking as well as customer´s, also, it has a great mobile client, that said by one of my customers employee, it is even easier to use it than work on the PC. I have been able to use other CRM´s like Sales Force, SAP, Siebel as a user in big corporations, and those are great products, but I think that for small and medium size companies, this product is simpler, less expensive and easy to use.

Pros

\- Easy to customize: The product is extremely easy to customize, at the point that unless you are going to do something very specialized, you might need external support, otherwise, the ramp up curve is easy and fast. There are different versions to subscribe, the higher the version, the more you can customize. They also let you try the product for a 30 day period and you are able to switch between different versions to compare them. The bottom line is that you will not need to spend extra money. - Language: My customers needed the product in spanish, Zoho allows you to switch between one language and another seamlessly. - Price: There are different versions, that are very affordable, one of the difference against the leaders is that the price up to 5 users might be the reasonable, but above 5 the prices goes really high. In the case of Zoho below 5 is free with its limitations, and then you have a reasonable step up depending on the versions. - Mobile Client: Simply amazing, once you have the product running, literally, every task or query you can do in your desk, you can also do it in your smartphone. The interface is clean, nice, intuitive and easy to use. - Tracking and follow up: One the strongest features I found is the tools to remind you of the follow up of tasks, meeting, calls, etc. You can get advise by email, phone, etc. - Sales methodology and Pipeline review: If your company has a black & white sales methodology, it is very easy to set it up in the CRM, also the way to view the pipeline is very intuitive and visual. It makes very easy to do pipe review and lets you drill into any module with just a click. - Views: You can have the report & the view you need, the product comes with a lost of sample reports but also lets you do your own (The higher the version, the more you can customize) - Workflow for triggering events: This is a great feature where you visually can determine which tasks are needed to execute after one event happens. Amazing feature.

Cons

There are many "add ons" that can be very useful once you have your CRM, by example ZOHO Projects, . My only advise is that from the beginning you have a clear understanding of what your company will be needing as this modules are priced separate from the monthly fee. Depending on the modules, you might end spending more dollars per user on them than on the crm fee.

### "Well Worth the Money"

August 25, 2022

We are able to see a lead through from start to the sale and then post-sale follow-ups. I can guide my staff by helping them get the most out of the CRM feature.

Pros

The product has more features that can cater to man businesses. I like the lead management feature and also the in-house tasks/email and meeting feature. This software assisted our business even more during covid (lockdown) when I did not have daily access to my employees like prior. I was able to remain in contact with all staff who signed onto the app/software. It's hard to narrow down what I like most since its versatile and used for many different aspects of my job. I would say the lead management is imperative to a retail business.

Cons

I have not had too much success integrating with other apps or software. Some features cause my device to lock up as well.

### "ZOHO - Everything a Business Needs to Thrive"

October 19, 2021

4.0

ZOHO has made it easy to run a business for me - I have recommended Zoho to all my friends

Pros

ZOHO is just too excellent at helping you nurture your leads till they are real customers. It brings a high level of efficiency to business, understanding that you have all you need as business. You can craft out a business process on Zoho and have your staff run with it. The security and data management system of Zoho is second to non that i've experienced in other CRM softwares. I recommend business to adopt Zoho as their CRM tool.

Cons

Zoho requires alot of customization before you can begin to enjoy it. This might be a bit hard for people who are not tech savvy. It took me 3 months to discover how to add my account details to an invoice/quote

### "Zoho CRM Review"

April 1, 2022

5.0

I run a small business and I knew I needed to automate some of my workflows. After using Zoho CRM for a few months, I was able to increase my productivity by more than 30% with the help of time-saving features. The best part is that Zoho CRM is cheaper than other similar products, which means it saves me effort and time.

Pros

I have been using Zoho CRM for years now, and it's one of my favorite aspects of my job. It has made our sales process so much more efficient and is a vital part of how we operate. Our team members love how easy it is to use, and I find it integrates well with the other tools we use on a daily basis.

Cons

I have been using Zoho CRM for the past two years and I love it. The low price point has made it a great option for me and I couldn't be happier with the features offered. It's also very easy to use with minimal training required!

### "Zoho CRM is very good, but it's not brilliant."

October 5, 2022

4.0

It's very good at delivering against the key tasks of CRM, but it's not amazing. Also, it's a lot more expensive than it used to be (approx 100% more expensive now, than when I first started using it).

Pros

It's relatively cheap (approx $40 per user). It does everything I need from CRM (Contact Management / Sales Pipeline Management / Sales Order Management / Invoicing) relatively well.

Cons

The interface always has been (and seems like it will always be) a bit clunky. I've also always hated that those arriving at the early stage of the sales process (Leads) cannot automatically be moved to 'Contacts' / 'Prospects'. I find this infuriating.

### "Biased for a Reason"

March 7, 2020

5.0

Zoho One provides a complete operating system for business. Where I have noted cons in this review I would note that Zoho One bringing everything together cohesively is far better at saving time than any frustrations it may cause.

Pros

One system that provides extensive capabilities. Zoho CRM plugs into the more than 50 other Zoho Apps with a single Zoho One license. Instant integration (as instant as it possibly can be). No more cobbling together system after system. I have all of the following in use from Zoho: CRM, spreadsheets, documents, file storage, security, marketing, social media, HR Management, accounting package, email, surveys, signatures, project management, notes, appointment management, presentations, webinars, online meetings, web hosting and design, online chat for web site, mobile expense capture, business analytics. I have used much more, that's just what I use on a day to day basis. These are the applications of business today. Nothing much out of the ordinary but if you are using anything else other than Zoho, you probably have a patchwork of applications to navigate.

Cons

Bleeding edge software development comes at a cost. Zoho brings out releases fast and often so sometimes there are annoying things that happen. This does not consume a large portion of my time but if you need consistency and 100% predictability then Zoho is probably not for you. If you are okay with 99% predictability Zoho is a good option. An example is the design of the Contact view in Zoho being changed recently without notice. If you are like me then you go with it. Some people who need things to be the same day in and day out can be rattled or frustrated by something like this.

### "Easy to use, monitor leads and manage team assignments"

May 16, 2022

As a less expensive option, this is what I recommend to all of my clients. If you're comfortable with the platform, it will serve you for the rest of your life. It's been a wonderful experience. You may receive answers quickly and easily by chatting with a member of their chat support team.

Pros

Zoho is a good alternative for clients who don't want to shell out money for Google Workspace. It accomplishes its purpose. My satisfaction with their efforts is based on the fact that they are attempting to make their platform accessible to everyone. Much of it is configurable and we were able to put it up 90% of the way we wanted. It's a breeze to use and keep track of.

Cons

I'd like it if the platform's many sections were made a little easier to configure and understand. In my opinion, they are attempting to mimic Google Workspace, although I am more familiar with Google Workspace's features. I'd love it if I could make my email software look and work just like gmail.

### "Zoho CRM"

October 23, 2020

5.0

I have had an amazing experience using this software. So much so, that I recommend this CRM to all my business development clients when starting their companies. The ease of creating and accessing tickets, attachments and emails on a clients file to access the parent data and contacts for authentication purposes, allows the call to flow seamlessly. Details are always time stamped in case data needs to be verified which makes it very secure with employees and contractors accessing company information and customer files. They offer a free version that includes many things that other paid CRMs do not include, just a wonderful product for a fraction of the cost.

Pros

I love the ease of access with managing and accessing important data for both vendors and clients alike. You have the ability of sending email campaigns directly from the applications and links it to the independent account. You can add authorized contacts under ever parent account and customize as needed.

Cons

The time it some times takes for a support ticket to be addressed. Apart from that I have literally had no issues with the product.

Reason for choosing Zoho CRM

The features made available in the different tier plans. The ability to customize the CRM to tailor specifically to your company with detailed instructions so its done correctly. And if all fails, their customer service is always there to assist. I tested many other CRM and I find Zoho CRM to be user friendly when setting up and while using it on a daily basis to assist our customers. A business customer actually asked if I use the product I was recommending, so I screen shared my desktop to show the Partner, yes if fact I do. Why wouldn't I be using the best product that I am recommending?

### "Choice for you if you need a CRM operated by multiple teams "

July 30, 2022

4.0

Usually CRM tools are primarily designed for sales teams. However, we found out that our client success and accounting teams were also very comfortable using it. If you have multiple teams who need to input data in a single platform, I think Zoho might be a good option for you. I mostly worked with the sales and account management sections. I like the tracking capabilities and customization options with the lead/customer data. The architecture is also designed very well. Zoho client service is very responsive, we had to reach for several use cases and we got them sorted out pretty fast.

Pros

A single tool for all operation teams UI is good Customizable reporting Great client service API allows to connect with other apps we use. Current list of integrations is enough for our needs.

Cons

We are a SaaS company operating in tech for B2B companies. We think Zoho is more for production/manufacturing companies rather than fast-paced agile tech firms. Many required integrations or features are paid extra which brings it closer to some other enterprise-level large CRM tools.

I've really enjoyed using Zoho over the past few years as I first came across the program as a more cost effective alternative to Microsoft Word however soon realized afterwards that the software was so much more valuable that just a document editor as our sales productivity has increase immensely and become much more streamline since I've gotten our team more comfortable with implementing this software for their daily functions!

Pros

I really enjoy using Zoho not just because of it's user friendly accessibility but also because it helps maintain our sales flow and keep my sales team updated daily on the current state of each lead and working deal. I greatly appreciate being able to adjust and organize specific documentation within Zoho as well where we process a lot of different paperwork here regarding financing, sales confirmations, invoices, accessory orders, service records, carfaxes, financial analysis spreadsheets, and many more.

Cons

There are honestly zero features I dislike about using Zoho as all of the daily procedures I need to fulfill and always easily completable with the GM portals I utilize alongside having Zoho to stay organized and in front of every task ahead.

### "If you want to keep your sanity, then stay away from ZOHO"

June 22, 2018

1.0

The benefits this software provides is nothing more than any other CRM available. Keep records of your accounts, logs of communication, track your sales pipeline, etc. etc.

Pros

The CRM is easy to use. Unlike other CRM products, with Zoho you don't have to be an expert to get started. The interface is clean and easy to use. It doesn't have all the insane features that other products have, but that is what sets Zoho apart because they are trying to keep it simple for small businesses.

Cons

There's too many issues with this product to even begin listing. The application is buggy. I started reporting bugs to their support department but they occupied too much of my time and would remote into my computer and repeat the same steps over and over again, expecting a different result. I gave up on reporting issues. They don't even care to fix them anyways. The support is extremely poor. I'd rather have them offer no support than the support they provide, as you'll get even more frustrated with their support than not even having support at all. We had an "Enterprise Account Manager" which wasn't very responsive. Any unresolved issues with the application he would just send back to the support department (the same support department you'd been previously fighting with for months on petty issues) and then nothing would end up getting done. Based on my conversations with the account manager, I can confidently say that nobody in the organization has any clue what's going on. Nobody in the company has any empowerment to do anything, everybody acts like pre-programmed robots. There is a horrible communication gap between departments, nobody is on the same page, everybody just passes the buck thinking somebody else will take care of the issue. You can tell there is a pretty bad work ethic and culture. You'll get the run around and end up getting exhausted and give up. You end up having a second job just trying to deal with Zoho. It's quite simple, STAY AWAY.

Pros

What help us choose Zoho CRM over other platforms is the customization. This allowed us to put together a custom tailored user experience. As our company has grown we have been able to take advantage of the integration with other platforms. Zoho CRM workflows i.e. automations are heaven sent! We have been able to automate so many of our emails, field updates, quotes and sales orders etc. To keep things simple this CRM is flexible, scalable and has a ton of options.

Cons

Because you have so much flexibility the learning curve can be a bit overwhelming at first. We are on a ZohoOne Enterprise edition and the ZohoOne team has help me countless times with Flows and integrations. When searching for a phone number it can be picky, for example if I have a phone number 888-888-8888 i have to include the hyphen. I can't just search the phone number 8888888888.
