### "A great (but quirky) platform for small marketing and sales teams"

Do you like getting hit unexpectedly in the face with a soft Nerf ball? If so, this is for you! Basically, Zoho is a great platform that every once and a while makes you ask "WTF?" Zoho One is good, and could be great if it wasn't surprising you with slight inconveniences on a regular basis. My team is able to execute nearly everything we want to do across the feature-rich Zoho One platform, including the CRM, email automation, social media, and analytics tools at our disposal. We've really elevated our marketing campaigns in the B2C space. So... in short... Zoho, I don't understand you, but I love you, you quirky son of a gun!

Pros

The CRM is good, and the Zoho One platform gives marketing and sales teams an incredible range of services to quickly launch scalable and automated solutions.

Cons

The platform is quirky. We occasionally bump into odd problems and caps across the Zoho One platform, but we can usually find a work-around to get what we need. For example, we just learned that we can't sync anymore "checkbox" fields between the CRM and the email platform. And we don't have an excessive number of these fields! We can add other fields, but just not more checkboxes! I don't understand why... but we just created a different field to circumvent the problem. Overall, it helps to have a developer at your disposal, but it isn't necessary.

Pros

There is so much flexibility and customization possible, you are mostly limited by your ability to use them all. It has given our sales managers much better tools to manage their leads and accounts, and given management visibility to everything that is happening. It ensures that potential customers aren't left hanging and that the whole team knows the history of interactions. The ability to customize all of the modules and how they interact is great. There are so many features that we are barely using half of them, each month we discover something new that will help us.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing to the end users at first, the interface is less intuitive than it could be, especially with all of the different view options. Reports are also a little difficult to build properly.

Cons

The developers should create tutorial guides to help the beginners to understand how to use the product effectively in their businesses.

Pros

I loved the beautiful aesthetic design, very simple and easy to use. I am blown away by the simplistic view and manageability of this software.

Cons

some of the cons I have seen are the ZIA voice assistant could use some work. also the Workflow automation is slightly limited.

The thing about this tool is so easy to use most specially when you are a new user. The best for me about Zoho CRM is that I get everything that I needed.

Cons

I don't have any problem with Zoho CRM expect the technical support but all in all it was a great tool!

We were first drawn to zoho when we used their email service. And when the time came to setup a CRM tool, we decide to go with Zoho CRM because of the experience we had the email service and i can gladly say the Pros of using Zoho CRM include its user-friendly interface, customization options, extensive feature set and I cant stress enough on affordable pricing.

Cons

With the cons i can just say we have had to halt some projects due to third party inegrations

Automatisierungen funktionieren nicht. CRM- und Projektmanagementsoftware sind ein billiger Abklatsch von grossen Unternehmen. Keine Software (wir hatten 12 von Zoho im Einsatz) war professionell brauchbar.

My overall experience with ZOHO CRM has been a long one, but in the end I'm glad that I've stuck to ZOHO CRM's program for our sales teams.

Pros

I enjoy the capability of ZOHO CRM and the amount of integrations that work with ZOHO CRM.

Cons

ZOHO support often times, first answer the chat to send you to a FAQ or self help article. Rather than diagnosing the problem, finding the underlying cause and then proceeding accordingly. It does take a long time to learn and many of the modules can't be modified the same way as another (Example: I can create a pipeline with one module but with the other I can't). Also to become very proficient within ZOHO CRM's education, you'll have to invest more into your education. Instead of it being provided for you with the program.

Reason for choosing Zoho CRM

Because I already had some experience using ZOHO CRM.

Working in Family and child protection law, we need a speedy and reliable product to support that. We deal primarily with emergency work, so this is key ! I have never had Zoho fault or crash to date. I love it.

I love Zoho - period ! I work in law, its not glamorous or fun, but Zoho makes things that work easier and happier to execute

perhaps an "are you sure you want to send this message to this contact" pop up before transmission, but of course its just fine without it.

In general, was a super easy tool to setup, and to train my sales people. For small companies give you a quick way to start, and then the tools provide API and more advanced modules that you can use to get better integration with your other systems.

Pros

It was very easy to setup and train sales people to use it. Although you will have some resistant from them to use it. It is a cheap product considering that other options are way more expensive. But I think the should have a more aggressive pricing for Small Business, that are their target.

Cons

Lack of easy notifications to know what is happening in real time. It was hard for me to know what was happening and how to track details per interaction. I needed a better dashboard to understand how this was moving hour by hour.

I discovered Zoho CRM in 2012 thanks to a very passionate Marketing teacher. Since then, I implemented it, along with Hubspot and ActiveCampaign, in more than 10 startups and SMBs, as a freelancer. Even though I always secreen for better solutions and CRMs, or more relevant in certain contexts, more than 80% of the time Zoho is my recommendation to clients. Very interested in witnessing the development of Zoho in Europe, as the expansion strategy is still quite young

Pros

Zoho CRM itself is easily customizable, very flexible and easy to use. With One, all data is connected with other business apps, making it convenient and up to date all the time, thus very powerful. Priceless in all data analysis and marketing automation projects.

Cons

The basic user interface, if not customized, is a bit grey. They are making improvements, and it's easily customizable, but it's an important feature for users so be sure to plan adding a Canvas or pimping your UX a bit

Overall, I can say I have used the free version for my own startup - which was amazing and also the full paid version at a mid-sized company, where all the team members happily were able to use it.

Pros

I love that everything is customizable, based on the lead details, the type of company and lead status we have, etc. It's simple to use and doesn't require a steep learning curve

Cons

It's not the cheapest option for medium-sized companies.
