Overall satisfied, I was able to self teach myself the functionality of it for what I use it for on a daily basis.

Pros

Great product for large companies and very user friendly. My team uses it most for audits and reporting.

Cons

The product is a little outdated, there are other newer applications similar to this one and I know my company is starting to make a transition.

Overall it's been positive. Sometimes the rumors affect the overall thought of the program but it all comes down to the user.

Pros

The value for the money and customer support is phenomenal. The ease of use is outstanding compared to other products.

Cons

The only con I have is they can sometimes be aggressive and potentially unethical sales tactics that have been floating around in conversation.

I have found PeopleSoft to be a reliable tool as a higher education employee. The HR functions work very well, and the favorites and search bars help remedy any UI path concerns. PeopleSoft has been reliable and we have found it to work well.

Pros

We have used Oracle PeopleSoft as the basis for our system for at least 15 years. It has been used as student-facing software as well as for HR purposes. It has been adaptable to a higher education setting and has generally been very reliable.

Cons

There can be a learning curve to using PeopleSoft and there are some paths to pages that aren’t the most intuitive. The favorites function works well to remedy this. I have seen some downtime during peaks of traffic, but this could be with well-over 20,000 users logging into the network at once. I am unsure as to the architecture, of the set up, so this may actually be more of a local server issue within our system.

ORACLE PEOPLESOFT HAS NOT ONLY HELP WITH MY BUSINESS BUT IT HAS ALSO HELPED IN MY PERSONAL LIFE AS WELL.

I LOVE ALL THE FUNCTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE AND HOW USER FRIENDLY THEY ARE. I FEEL THAT ANYONE WOULD BE ABLE TO NAVIGATE ORACLE.

Cons

I WOULDNT SAY THERE WAS ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR THAT I DISLIKED BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONE THING THAT I LIKED THE LEAST IT WOULD BE THE OVERWHELMING OPTIONS.

Awful. No assistance from support, incredibly unfriendly for us as managers and doesn’t give you the ability to manage via mobile with ease.

Pros

Nothing - PeopleSoft is incredibly difficult to use, and the user interface is absolutely not mobile friendly.

Cons

Everything - if we could switch HR management tools, I would beg of it and promptly fight for that switch.

Sometimes daunting, but once you’ve mastered it and know what you want to do, what report you want to generate, what process you want to automate then you are halfway through

I like the fact that I can generate multiple reports and automate many processes

Customising takes a lot of time and effort , the information is not always easily understood.

Its not bad but there are definitely better options

Pros

Based on how it was set up for our company, its not the best HR software, there definitely better options however, we use it as a global tool i.e US, Can, India. Its my first time using Peoplesoft and conpared to HR systems such as success factors, I find it’s a bit more complicated however, it could have been also due to how it was set up

Cons

Reporting, the updating is a little complicated i.e if you have backdated changes and there’s already a line with a later date, you would have to delete that line in order for the upload to work

I've enjoyed using Oracle PeopleSoft for the past 2 years. Having easy access to tax documents, paychecks, and health enrollment information has been extremely helpful as an employee.

Pros

Using Oracle PeopleSoft is such a breeze. This website is extremely user-friendly and easily accessible from multiple platforms. I enjoy the animated icons, step-by-step guides to health benefit enrollment, and direct deposit process.

Cons

Honestly, nothing comes to mind! I thoroughly enjoy using Oracle Peoplesoft.
