The tool is very matured and a stalwart. Cons it's difficult to understand the invoicing areas of a purchase order. Project/Tours Manager Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Made work easier and more efficient" May 6, 2018 4.0 Pros I used oracle when working as a buyer planner at Starbucks, I was there as it got implemented, and it made work so much easier. It simplified work and one could get things done more efficient. Instead of having to do several steps, using the program gave you the chance to do things faster and you found information in the system which also made work easier. The support was very good and always at hand. Cons As mentioned I was there for the implementation and it took a while to have all the tools ready and working properly. I wish my current employer used Oracle PeopleSoft! Pros For many businesses, our largest resource is our workforce. I loved working with Oracle PeopleSoft to manage candidates, employees, communications, financials and more! This was a great tool for our business. As my first experience with HR software, I was pleased to find how easy to navigate PeopleSoft was. Made me feel like an expert out of the gates. Cons I did not have any concerns with Oracle PeopleSoft. Any issues that arose were immediately handled by customer service. I loved how easy it was to use and never had frustrations with PeopleSoft as I have with other software. It can be highly customized to accomodate most needs of an organisation. Cons The software is losing its popularity over other cloud solutions and is at a risk of being replaced. Pros I really like the reporting functions built into the software. I can pull quick reports to help manage my department. The system has a quick load time with very little lag. The menus and interface are very user friendly and intuitive. They also have great reference materials available for use. Employees use it for viewing employee information, payment details, bi-weekly pay reports and requests for time-off. It's extremely easy to navigate through- the process is almost thoughtless. Cons It is difficult to find technical resources with the expertise to implement and upgrade the software when necessary. It can also be very costly to an organization to go through such an implementation or upgrade, especially due to the lack of skilled workforce capable of managing the expectations and delivering. Pros I liked that you were able to see all records for an employee easily. Cons What I least liked is that the records showed as "rows" and it made it a little tedious to make employee updates. Cons It's not very intuitive, relies on special product codes many of the times, and can be really clunky. Ultimately you can get the information you need but it also relies on the organization to know how to create a well-customized product, which isn't always the case/ability.
