HR Analyst Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great for reporting!" December 11, 2018 4.0 The system is better than some and not comparable to others. Just make sure you do your due diligence before signing up and doing a system's conversion. Pros PeopleSoft is great for reporting. Users are required to do a little more work on the front end while entering, so that back end reporting is easy and very helpful. I have used HRIS software in the past, and reporting always seems to be a sore spot. PeopleSoft has mastered the reporting function which makes the entry process a little more understandable. Cons The entry process can be a little cumbersome. For example, there is also no auto fill on fields which helpful to avoid miskeying / misspelling. This would be a great feature to have should they ever look into expanding their system's functionality. Review Source RR Rosa R. By receiving products in the system, we can quickly pay invoices to our suppliers Pros I like that the system can search a wide variety of information. Also that files can be attached and opened once payments have been finalized. Cons The printing process is unbearable. There is no clear print function in the system. Pros All of the directories are clearly labeled in a tree structure. The format hasn't changed much in the last 10 years, which makes it easy to use. Cons Sometimes it is slow to load and when printing a page, such as an unofficial transcript, does not work properly due to improper text imbedding. The text interface should also be updated to be more stylistic and modern. Class search should have more options so that 500 results don't appear. Also, it gives you the option to delegate responsibilities to someone else on your team. Cons At times, this program can have troubles choosing which browser it likes to cooperate with best. It was also nice that some reports or collections of needed data where easily accessible. Cons There is a serious learning curve with reports and finding certain data. I also wish that when populating certain reports you could choose what you would like to be included to eliminate taking more time in Excel making the report appear how you wish with the required data added and unneeded things deleted. With our company having thousands of assets that we have to track it makes keeping track of them easy. Very good upward and downward integrations with many give and get exchanges. The schema is very flexible to accommodate multiple fields from 3rd party sources. The capture of aging data is great. Cons I really do not like that plain and simply put, the software is not user-friendly at all. I think streamlining what you can do within it and make some UI updates it could be more user friendly. Pros I like that you can add and update the information for your specific needs. Cons It is not very intuitive depending how many contacts you have imported. It becomes very hard to search for someone based on first or last name only. I like that I can customize queries so that I get only the information that I am looking for. Cons Sometimes I have issues with downloading information to get it to print and I have to resubmit the info.
