Pros The lease administration module is useful for easy access to pertinent financial info like what the monthly rent and op cost charges are, also to quickly access manual fees. Cons The biggest drawback is that proration is not per diem and that there are too many steps to access detailed information. It was easy to use for me as an IT person and helped me keep track of what I was doing on a daily basis. Pros PeopleSoft helps centralize a number of employee related functions that allows for them to keep track of items related to their time and efforts. It is easy to use, intuitive and has plenty of resources available for training, etc. Cons The cost is bit much for smaller organizations. It can be a bit cumbersome because there are so many options and directions you can go as an org. Pros Peoplsoft is a great tool when automating our new hires. It assists with the process of ID creation in active directory, LDAP, as well as, sends a notice to our techs to create the o365 account Cons As of now, peoplesoft breaks when we attempt to rehire someone or when someone is onboarded from consultant to full-time. We are trying to re-create this process with peoplesoft to get this going correctly. Once you find what you are looking for it is easy to read the layout. Cons It is not very user friendly and there is not a lot of training offered for it. Pros Oracle PeopleSoft is relatively easy to use. I use it to access my payroll information (i.e. pay stubs), request time off, and for our annual performance reviews. Cons What I like least about Peoplesoft is the functionality in the review process. It has been updated to make it a little bit easier but it is very tough to format (i.e. bullets, bold, underline, etc) while you are writing reviews. Review Source Tamika B. October 27, 2019 5.0 Oracle PeopleSoft is a great resource when it comes to payroll data as it is a reliable tool in getting our employees paid on a bi-weekly basis. We have sales reps who turn in expense reports and sales incentives which can sometimes be complex, but the abilities of this software make the input of the data easy to sort and thus provide the expected results, which is accurate payroll payment. Pros I like the abilities of this software as it can be used for payroll, expense reports, financial data as well as other major accounting functions. This software program certainly has met all of my company's accounting needs immensely! Cons I have not experienced any negativity with association with this product and its usage. Pros The software is fast to use and very easy to understand and pull queries and reports from. It provides valuable data to analyse and is useful for both large and small businesses. U can run a lot of different reports from the data u put in thr program. Cons I think it could use some upgrades but i know we dont have the newest of the upgrades offer. They do get kinda expensive. I have no choice but to use it. I only ever use it to 1.) file an expense report, and 2.) check on the status of my expense report. That's it. From a user experience standpoint, it should be one click to each. I would never recommend this product to anyone Pros Not very much. When I've finally figured out the software, after making many mistakes and wasting a lot of time, its not that bad, but it is horribly non-user friendly, and if I don't use it for a few months and come back, I have to remember where everything is because it isn't intuitive at all Cons Its user interface, its layout, basically everything about it. I need to go thru a series of headings to get to the place I need to be. It gives you very specific options to choose from, so there is little margin for error. Cons The layout can be complicated and difficult to navigate. An experienced user will not have the same struggles as a beginner, but the complex implementation is definitely a learning curve.
