I Have been pleasantly surprised with the capabilities. Pros Robust with ability to secure log streams. Allows central Collection, routing and filtering for f logs based on facilities and priorities as well a regex as well as other ways. Cons It does take a bit of learning to understand the configuration file syntax. Pros cool features that I like the most its can integrated with another such as BackBox, Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service on AWS, CPTRAX for Windows, HackGuard, SecureLink, Sematext Cloud, strongDM, Swimlane, Telegraf, and Thycotic Cloud Access Controller. Cons yes its perfect already for this, its very powerful, i recommend if you have mixed infrastructure.
