Pros

I love that I can create groups that integrate from Planning Center. It makes it easier to communicate with volunteers, parents, and groups a part of specific events. The best part is the rate of people checking their messages versus email goes up dramatically! I get responses and better engagement through texts without having to create obnoxious group texts that everyone dreads.

Cons

I do wish there was a simpler way to check how many people have clicked on links. There is a way to see the amount of clicks, but it does not inform me of who clicked on it. It's possible there is a way to get this info but it's not user friendly if it is.

Overall we are pleased with PastorsLine.com. It does give us what we are looking for at a very reasonable price. Thus we feel we are getting the bang for our buck!

Pros

We like PastorsLine because it's web-based, and give you all kinds of stats, including click rate, when sending out texts. The user-support is also very quick & nice, besides the various tutorial videos throughout.

Cons

When creating a pic+text message, it's hard to see the end-result of what my user may see when receiving our message. Thus I almost always send one to myself to make sure it's correct, then I send it to all the recipients.

Reasons for choosing PastorsLine

Because it gives us the click rate! We need to know how engaged our members are.

We love it. If I ever have a question they are so easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. (Unlike others I have used.) I have not had any problems.

Pros

The pricing and the fact that it is made for church by the church.

Cons

We are pretty simple here and it works perfectly for us and our needs.

Overall, i do like it and have referred it to other organizations.

Pros

I like the easy breakdown of features on the website and how we can send a text message to anyone in our CCb directory without having to have them in a Pastor line group.

Cons

The one feature I like the least is the mobile app. It feels clunky and hard to use at times. Also, the layout can at times be hard to find and navigate to features I need on a phone.

Pretty good experience, but is currently also our only option.

Amazing planning centre integration, and ability to capture data from people.

Cons

Long load times in members portal, not 100% set up for international market.

Pros

Ability to compose & schedule texts for other pastors / events / etc. Being able to give other users access to groups for management.

Cons

Navigation is confusing / not enough connecting elements to get from one place to another / there are times I have to go into specific text messages and individually mark as read in order to clear the "new messages" out of the inbox.

PastorsLine is my number one resource to witness and minister salvation to non-believers. It is a tool to help me grow the church on social media and in person.

I like the fact that I can text and use my PastorsLine number for the public to contact the church, for prayer or dialogue.
