We have been using Expeni at Anam Croí for a few months now and it has made a huge difference to how we manage purchasing, approvals and record keeping across our charity. The system is extremely easy to use, straightforward to set up and has helped bring much more structure and visibility to our processes. It has significantly reduced paperwork and made tracking purchase orders and approvals far more efficient for both management and finance. One of the standout aspects of Expeni is the level of customer support. The team have been exceptionally responsive, helpful and approachable throughout. Any queries or requests we have had were dealt with quickly and professionally, which has made implementation and day-to-day use very smooth. As a charity, finding systems that are both effective and practical can be challenging, but Expeni has genuinely exceeded expectations for us. We would highly recommend Expeni to other charities and organisations looking to improve purchasing controls, accountability and record management without unnecessary complexity.

Pros

1\. Extremely easy to use and very straightforward to set up. 2. Has greatly improved our purchase order management, approvals and record keeping. 3. Brings much more structure, visibility and accountability to our processes Saves significant administrative time for both management and finance. 4. Staff adopted the system very quickly due to how intuitive it is. 5. Excellent customer support with very fast and helpful responses. 6. The Expeni team are approachable, professional and genuinely pleasant to deal with. 7. A very practical solution for charities and organisations that need strong controls without unnecessary complexity.

Cons

Honestly, we have found very little to fault with Expeni so far. Any minor queries or issues we encountered during setup or day-to-day use were addressed extremely quickly by the support team. The system has been very reliable, easy to use and has integrated well into our organisation’s processes.

Overall experience is great and customer support is awesome.

Pros

Cost, ease of use, purchasing tracking, budget management, product support.

Cons

I can't say there's anything I dislike about Expeni. It would be nice if it integrated with other Finance products but for the cost, this can't be expected or the price would skyrocket.

I use expeni almost daily to place purchase orders for my self and my team, check department available budgets, update vendor information, run spending reports and upload receipts.

Pros

Expeni is easy to navigate, easy to learn, easy to teach to others. I love the streamlined design.

Cons

It would be great if old purchase orders that have not been approve would show an alert. when po's get old they disappear from the approvers view, they have to search for iy.

Expeni has been so helpful in controlling the spending in our organization. By setting budgets and requiring POs, we have seen the added benefit of the extra layer of protection.

We wanted a simple digital PO system for internal use. It has matched our needs very well.

Pros

The product is reasonably straightforward to set up: users/ roles, cost centres etc. Our users like its simplicity (this depends on the set up). The budget facility is very useful. We do not use the authorisation work flow so have no comment to make on that.

Cons

It isn't very glamorous to look at and it does not integrate with QuickBooks.
