Pros: The ability to create professional Purchase Orders is invaluable. Also, the benefit of creating products which can be applied in future PO's.

Overall: The speed is good. Perhaps the Basic Plan option could increase the number of transactions.

Pros: Ease of use. Keeps good history. I love the ability to send by email and get ccd on my invoice that was email.

Cons: I think you should offer at a lower price. I only do 2 or 3 invoices a month. How about charging by each invoice?

Overall: Good history and easy to use.

Overall this has been a great tool for purchase order tracking.

Pros: It has been a great too for tracking the cost of products and services purchased for projects. I have utilized it extensively for some time now and am happy with it's performance as an end user.

Cons: The search function in the items module could be a little better defined and allow for searching for a portion of a name or part number.

Overall: For the cost benefit it has been a useful tool.

Pros: This software took our company from a convoluted excel based system to an organized and easy to use software platform that we love.

Cons: This software lacks a few features that would be helpful but overall not critical. Being able to track lead times, order numbers, and being able to pull that list by project would be very helpful. The software would also benefit from being able to communicate with other software systems, like quickbooks.

Overall: Organized our procurement process in a beneficial and productive way.

The system does include order numbers and tags which are often used for project spend tracking and I have some ideas on how you can use due dates and other features to track lead times. I will follow-up with you directly to further discuss and see how we can improve. As for communicating with other software systems I agree that we can do better and it is on our "to do" list. For now I am wondering if our data import/export features can help you get you what you need and will follow-up with you to review.

Pros: The software is easy to use, understand and to show others how to use.

The ability to email POs with terms attached makes ordering very simple.

Cons: Some of the reporting is limited. It would be nice to generate a report that provides invoices by sales rep. Also, a report showing remaining open balance on a sales order.

Some of the parameters in setting users up is limiting. I have a need for letting people view all sales orders but not be able to change them.

Thank you for your feedback Charles. We do have a report for sales orders by sales rep but currently not one for invoices by sales rep as you point out. I think that adding this report is certainly worth considering and will discuss internally to see what we can do. As for user access parameters we are planning to provide more options like what you describe within the next few months.

Pros: The software provides inventory control, sales, and purchasing tools all in one easy to use application that is not overly priced.

Cons: The inability to modify inventory type (inventory vs non-inventory) after creation. It would be a major improvement to allow you to change the type instead of having to create a new item.

Thank you for your feedback Lisa. I understand your point about allowing users to modify type so that you don't have to create a new item if you want to change. The tricky part is what to do with past transactions since they would have been handled in the system based on type when they were recorded. We think it is important to be consistent with how different types of transactions are handled in the system but also feel it is important to maintain the integrity of historical data. That said we are always open to new ideas on how we can improve the system and I will follow-up with you directly to further discuss.

Pros: Easy, non-complex for the end-user. Very organized and easy to find what you were looking for to create a PO.

Cons: The only con we had using the software was the limited availability for the free user. We ended up using a different software that was free with full function.

I don't dread completing POs because Officewise is so easy to use!

Pros: Allows the user to complete a PO quickly. Allows the user to search for past vendors and POs. Re-populates the fields accurately.

Cons: Sometimes when I do a Search for a past vendor, no information comes up, but I know that I have completed a PO for the specific vendor.

If you enter the name of the vendor in the search box and click button to search then any purchase order for that vendor should appear in search results so not sure why you are not seeing. Alternatively you can use filters to see purchase orders for a particular vendor and further filter on other criteria. In any case I will follow-up with you directly to better understand and resolve issue.

Pros: I like that it saves prior purchases and details. It is also easy to see where your order is being held up and notifies you when it has been sent all the way through.

Cons: I least like that if you make a simple change to an old order you have to make a whole new product.

Overall: It is an easy process for a large company with a lot of orders

Pros: 1) approval process is now instantaneous. Previous manual system could take days. 2) I like the ability to search part numbers for repeat orders by part name or supplier.

Cons: does not provide system to maintain consistent part name / number so each user conforms to common system - which leads to duplicates

Thank you for your feedback Scott. To reduce the risk of duplication the system does prevent users from creating new items that have the same Item ID as an existing item but we understand sometimes that is not enough to prevent duplication. To further reduce risk and maintain consistency in part name/number we recommend limiting which users can add new parts through roles so that only certain authorized users can add new items. I will follow-up with you directly to show you how this can be done.

Pros: I can attach receipts, packing slips, RFQs, etc. directly to the Purchase Order and not have to worry about lost documents. All the information is there for anyone that needs immediate access without hassle.

Cons: The search features could use a little improvement. It would be nice to be able to search on just a wildcard but does not.

Overall: Not having to use a hard-copy system.

Pros: It allowed us to keep vendors saved for future use. We were able to reference different orders to the PO numbers. It allowed us to continue to reference old PO's to see what transaction happened that had taken place before our hire.

Cons: The search engine was very specific. If we were looking for drawstring bags and it was entered in as draw string bags the search field wouldn't find it. I wish that a bit more information about the order would appear in the list screen. We would place multiple orders in a day from the same vendor. If we were searching for a particular item but the search feature didn't pull it up we would have to search through the many PO's from that particular vendor click in and closing out each one until we find the right one. Where if there was a column that showed the notes or possibly 1 line item in the PO that would help find things quicker.

Overall: organization and communication was key when communicating with my co-workers on multiple projects. This helped us keep all of our orders in one location so that if one of us was not present that the others would know what had been ordered.

Pros: I love the fact that this product is easy to use, especially the fact that I can send PO to the office conveniently. I love it!

Pros: Learning the new software was easy. It has been very functional for our purchase ordering needs. Automatically saves vendors and new products.

Cons: sometimes have challenges with saving new products in the system, or changing an existing product if it was entered incorrectly.

Pros: easy to use and straight forward, I easily can send a PO to the office to get things asap. It is very easy to search for old ones as well.

Cons: having to hit submit after hitting save after filling out a new PO. I wish it would have a pop up after hitting save, that would ask if you wanted to submit.

Overall: We get many benefits, It's a very organized way to submit PO's to others and keeps them very accessible from both ends

Pros: The software is easy to use and the approval process is very easy. Being able to see the status of PO's is also very nice

Cons: There are two lines for entering expenses which seems redundant. It would be nice to only have one line for each expense

Pros: It's easy and able to be personalized to accommodate the needs of my company. I was very happy that when I did need to reach out to explore more options--Ryan was readily available. He scheduled a time to help me out and took the time to thoroughly explain the options I had.

Cons: I don't have anything that I don't like--but that is because I only create sales orders. If I were to be on the accounting side, I might find some things that I would like changed.

Pros: It is very detailed for the price you can do just about anything you need to do to keep your business running smooth

Cons: I would like to be about to have more ability to customize some things but other that that is great.

Pros: We are a small office site on the other side of the Country of Armenia corporate location. Having office wise makes submitting peels and receiving on them to our finance office like they're sitting in the next office down.

Cons: Wish there was a way to remind me to revive my po's through email or remind me when I log in. If there is it is not very easy to see.

Pros: Search function is great to find other users PO's. The interface is very well done and easy to find what you need.

Cons: Certain restrictions at specif user levels are not customizable. The approval process could be improved on.

Pros: The ease of the software, the format, the great customer service and it's one hundred percent dependable.

Cons: There's really nothing I can say that I don't like. Maybe the only thing that needs to be adjusted is the font size of the initial layout. But of course, that's something you can adjust on your own.......

Pros: The simplicity and pleasant GUI make doing my job easy. I can find my assigned Purchase Orders in seconds, open them, and make any adjustments I need to.

Cons: Haven't really found anything I dislike about it...If I had to say something perhaps the "more" button on the dashboard could have some of those items as separate buttons, or it could be customizable because I have to print PDFs a lot.

Overall: It makes the purchasing aspect of my job very easy to do and to report on.

Able to work with the software and have a positive experience when using it.

Pros: The ease in the use of the software. Several fields can be populated by typing the first letters of a vendor's name. The item numbers also can be populated with the first few letters on the company's item numbers.

Cons: There was an update to the software a few months ago. There was no training on the changes to the software. It was difficult to determine where items needed to go. It took sometime to figure this out.

Overall: The ability to track purchases and determine total dollars spent by vendor.

Pros: It's easy to use, I get email notifications when I have an invoice to approve, I can clearly see what the invoice is for.

Cons: It's not very fun. It seems pretty basic as far as design and user interface. This isn't really a bad thing because it makes it easy to use, but I suppose it would be nice for it to look a little more modern or visually stimulating.

Pros: I have been using this program for a few months and is much better than our former institutional software. Its quick and intuitive!

Pros: Website is very easy to use and self explanatory. You can easily save POs, convert to PDF, search for past POs. The latest update has also added quite a few new and great features.

Cons: The only Con or feature I wish could be added is a list of projects so that you can allocate which PO belongs to which project.

Pros: The software allows a paperless and more efficient process in ordering items. The approval hierarchy is great.

Cons: Some changes to the website adds some difficulty in maneuvering through to find other pages. Example, I had to edit the authorization of a new hire and it took me a while to find where that section was moved to.

Overall: We now have a paperless process in executing POs. The process is now more efficient, we maintain a history on our purchases and the time saved is better served on other projects.

Thank you for your feedback. As mentioned we did make some changes to the user interface of our system a few months ago which we believe will make it better going forward. We understand and appreciate that it can take some time for existing users to get use to the changes and apologize for any inconvenience. We are not planning to make any other significant changes to the user interface and hope that the new help center we launched along with the changes makes it easier to adapt to the new user interface.

I basically use it to create a PO. It is user friendly.

Pros: Drop down menu for vendor, GL, previous categories.... Email notification of approval.
I can search for po in different ways. Pending, approved, etc.

Cons: I had difficulty loading a file from my desktop with new upgrade. The history should be loaded by more recent to oldest.

I've spent a lot of time with this system. It's organized, I wish it could do more.

Pros: I like that you can run reports and export them into excel. It's a great first step in gaining approvals and organizing ourselves.

Cons: I wish there were more report functions for purchase orders. Also it would be nice to edit a purchase order without having to resubmit them. Also wish we could delete a PO.

Thank you for your review. We are happy to consider adding more reporting functionality and I will followup with you to better understand what you are looking for. As for making edits to approved purchase orders the system requires that you resubmit for approval so that approvers are able to approve the changes. To avoid having to resubmit purchase orders for approvals I recommend using Bills to record any changes and will followup with you to show how this can be done. Regarding the ability to delete purchase orders there are pros and cons to this and for now we feel that it is better to allow users to void purchase orders rather than delete them but we are open to reconsider. I will followup with you to further discuss.

Fairly easy to navigate, doesn't really provide very good reports.

Cons: The reporting could be easier to filter or add vendors, etc. I can't really create a report that works for my needs and often find myself looking through everything one by one. Can't easily delete mistakes.

Pros: I like that you're able to customize your dashboard to see the POs and approvals most relevant to you as soon as you login.

Cons: I don't like that there always has to be an item number - I deal mainly with POs for consulting services or one-time orders without specific item numbers so I usually have to make up a number for the "product" I'm purchasing

Thank you for your review. As a point of clarification you can use alpha or numeric characters for the Item ID. To avoid adding item numbers each time you create a purchase order I recommend creating a generic item record that you can always use. For example, you could create a generic item record with Item ID "Consulting services" and map it to your consulting services expense account. That way you could always select the "Consulting Services" item anytime you want to add it to a purchase order rather than creating a new item each time. I will follow-up with you directly to make sure this resolves the issue.

Pros: The software is uncomplicated, easy to use, and cost effective for small business. Use it primarily for the PO function.

Cons: each user can only view their own. Would suggest at least view option for other PO's created in system. edit not necessary.

Thank you for your review and feedback. I did want to clarify that the system does allow you to see all purchase orders depending on the access granted to you by the Admin on your account. My guess is that the Admin on your account has limited your access to only your purchase orders. I will followup with you and the Admin on your account to see if that is the case and show how access can be changed if that is what's wanted.

Overall: I have not used customer support nor do I pay for the service - another person in our company does that portion and can comment further. I enjoy using the service. I have run into trouble when needing to edit an item that has been received already or incorrectly - to where I was left with negative items as a balance. I'm not sure of a quick fix on this but perhaps providing summary data of what was received prior to pursuing the 'receive' function would be helpful.

Pros: Ease of entering data and approval process for entering and approving purchase orders. Easy to edit and change information as well.

Thank you for your review and feedback. I just wanted to clarify that we have over 75 reports including reports for purchases and accounts which you could then filter to just see fees. If you are not seeing reports my guess is that is has something to do with user access restrictions set by the Admin on your account. Pros: The simple design and ability to use a variety of categories to search through data.

Cons: I preferred the lighter color scheme Officewise had before the most recent design update. I also need to be able to type in a partial purchase order number in the search section and have any purchase order with that info pull up in my search.

Overall: Officewise offers more functionality than I expected considering it's such an affordable price. The interface is simple and very user-intuitive. My entire office is able to input data and keep things organized and up to date. We use the purchase order feature the most. The product is consistent, so I have never had any error messages or glitches like I do so often with another, more expensive software we use in-house. My favorite thing about Officewise is the ability to cross categorize my searches. The only thing I'd like to see in the future, is being able to pull up data that has any part of what I enter in the search bar, rather than having to have exact searches. Thanks for offering such a great product!

Comments: Two issues I have with Officewise. I have to modify scans to upload them. From color to grey scale. I feel the system should be accepting of both. I wish the system would allow modifications to an invoice, should we notice and error. In stead of having to wait for a month plus for a company to reject it.

Pros: Similar to quickbooks, so if you use quickbooks you can automatically use this easily.

Overall: We Love Love Love OfficeWise. We mostly use it to keep track of orders. As a busy Design Firm we need all the help we can get keeping track of furniture orders, cabinets, tile and everything we order for a project. The report system allows us to to do a print out and mark it with expected ship dates and helps us to track what is on order for several projects at once.

Overall: Keeping organized is a valuable asset for m business. I do Arts & Crafts at many nursing homes through the area. Part of my business is to keep track of who owes me to ensure that I can keep a running flow of my supplies. Using your invoice with my limited assets allows me to keep track of my correspondences and classes. With the app loaded on my phone lets me check an invoice in a split second as needed. The only suggestions that I would make is that you are able to delete purchase orders rather than just voiding them.

Pros: Intuitive and easy to start using right away

Cons: If there were some very simplistic instructions or tips that would have helped with set up. We setup before many of the upgrades were made and we could not take advantage of budgets because of how we setup the purchase orders.

Overall: We started using Officewise (formerly known as Alatus) to manage our purchase orders. It was very easy to use, got the job done and intuitive to use. It was one of only a few choices of a basic product where we do not have to invest in something more than what we needed. We are happy with it and the enhancements made have made it even easier and more complete.

Pros: I can use it on my phone. Invorty can be tracked when used right

Cons: Not being able to delete items that were used or Duplicates

Overall: Items should be able to be changed like deleting that aren't being used and being able to change non invorty to invorty item

Recommendations to other buyers: I mobile app would be great. Maybe a drop down window for different pricing on items

Thank you for your feedback Gary. If an item is not used in any transactions you should be able to delete and if it is used in a transaction you can make it inactive so it no longer shows up in dropdowns etc. Allowing users the ability to change items from non-inventory is something we have considered in the past and will revisit based on feedback from you and others. I agree we need a mobile app and we have plans for this. I like your idea about different pricing on items and will follow-up with you to further discuss.

Adds options for repeat purchase orders and products

Cons: Have to setup everything before using it, can't just add a product that you want to save based on what is entered, you have to save it first.

Overall: This product is very well thought of, and provides good support for a company that needs to create custom purchase orders on the fly. It also makes it easy to maintain a database of products to make it easy to create new purchase orders. I've been using this product for years, and have enjoyed seeing it develop into what it is today.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you take your time, this is one of the easiest to use products offering this type of service.

Overall: Officewise was the perfect solution to our purchase order and invoice needs. We had been using a form filling software that was not compatible with Windows 8.1 so we needed a different program to serve this purpose, and Officewise fit the bill!

Overall: My company mainly uses your software as a PO creation tool. I know that you have a lot of reporting and accounting tools and other tools that we don't use that we definitely could/should. The software works well for us to simply create POs with easy fill-in-the blanks for saved company names and information so multiple people can use it as an address book, essentially. We then have a record that shows all POs we've placed over time as well, across multiple users. What we don't use very well is the accounting tools - we don't really categorize or use the reports at all for accounting purposes. We have a whole accounting team who keeps track of that type of thing in Quickbooks. Our Operations team is who uses your software for the most part for ease of creating POs and also record keeping for basic PO information. Giving you 4 stars across the board for the product - it seems pretty user friendly in general. Maybe not enough tutorial type information, that could be helpful, but I haven't really gone looking for it. Giving you 5 starts for customer service because you were very responsive when I did have a question.

That said we have many customers who use our system along with QuickBooks like you do which is just fine too. Pros: The fact that we can search key words for previous POs that have been created.

Cons: Not much that I don't like! Once in a while it won't let me delete the top row on purchase orders when I add one too many lines, but that isn't really any issue.

Overall: We've been very happy with Officewise! We use it every day to create Purchase Orders and cross reference items we've ordered for deliveries ect. Definitely very easy to use and extremely helpful!
