They can sent it while their identity is fully anonymous and thus resulting everyone can voicing their opinion freely. Cons I have no problem that i face while working with this platform. The WorkTango support team has been helpful in setting up efficiencies with our HRIS to update employee changes. Everyone deserves to feel appreciated and the platform encourages lots of employee engagement. We are able to redeem points for gift cards, time off, coupons, etc. which is great! Cons There is a learning curve to using the platform, however, it does not take too long to learn the navigation. The Outlook plugin is nice too. Cons It would be nice to have some additional export functionality and some more flexibility. I also use the "high five" option so that I can share the love and give away some points!! Pros I love how you can give a coworker kudos anytime!! And as an added bonus you can also score a few extra points for yourself!!! It is a great morale booster for all! I have actually saved enough to pay for half of laptop using gift card I earned! Cons I have to be honest in that there isn't anything that Work Tango can change about it - it works great and I have nothing to mention in the con column! Cons Because points expire at the end of the quarter, it often turns into a quarter-end bonanza with staff rewarding each other.If there were more incentives for staff to give out points throughout the year that would help mitigate this. It’s not perfect, especially if your company needs very specialized reports or if you’re looking for ultra-fast rewards, but in my experience, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks Pros I really like how easy it is to send shout-outs to coworkers, whether it’s for something small or an important achievement. It creates an environment where people feel valued because it’s public, everyone can see what you’re recognizing. Cons They should make rewards more accessible (fewer points required, more variety of prizes). Sometimes there are too many notifications or emails, which makes it a bit noisy. Pros I love that WorkTango provides a place for employees to go to recognize the hard work other colleagues do on a day to day basis. This program offers a place to give "points" which can eventually translate into money or rewards! Each quarter every employee gets a certain amount of points to send out to their colleagues to shout out their hard work! This program does a great job at boosting morale within the organization. Cons I love mostly everything about this program, but one con of WorkTango is that the site is down for maintenance quite often. This makes it hard to submit shout outs in a timely fashion sometimes. I'd recommend using it for organizations that want to drive employee engagement/connections with each other. Pros WorkTango is a nice platform to recognize and reward colleagues. The options for providing direct recognition and also the "high five" option to add-on to other people's posts makes it easy show your value for team members. Cons There are some parts of the platform that could be improved upon. For instance, when building goals/milestones for tracking, it would be great to set "quarterly" goals without having to enter in the first and last day of the quarter. The platform at times can be a little sluggish.
