Also like the assigning of emails to colleagues. Cons I'd like to be able to track my files coming in that I'm not the client owner on and I wish there was some autocorrect on my typing like there is in Outlook. July 10, 2018 5.0 I feel more organized and feel more comfortable communicating with all clients. Pros The best thing about this software is the triage. I feel like I can have a big picture of everything that is new or going on at the moment and quickly peruse through all of it. That way I can set priorities for the day and me aware of everything going on in the firm. I feel like nothing slips through the cracks. Cons Sometimes I have to go back to my gmail, for example, when I have to download multiple attachments. The "download all" attachments does not work for me. That can get pretty annoying. Additionally, this software needs full commitment from the whole work team. If someone does not use it fully, it does not work as well. Review Source Gabrielle O. I love the continual innovation by the Karbon team. They really do listen. Cons I would like the option to be able to un-stack emails as this has caught me out on a couple of occasions. It would also be great to set a time delay on sent emails. They offer fantastic training and are very much there for you when you need them. This is making customer interactions easier to track. The project templates and scheduling is another amazing feature. Cons No support for calender. I still have to jump into my old inbox to accept meeting invitations and to send invitations out. I no longer use Outlook for my emails as Karbon has the functionality that I need. Cons I wish there was an on-the-go app instead of having to log into their website when I am not on my computer. Once you've trained yourself to not check triage every 10 minutes (like you would email), it's great to have everything cleared away, allocated or scheduled for future reference. And having the task and work updates automatically reflected in the workflow saves a huge amount of time of having to maintain it manually. Cons There are a few things we'd like to see automated, or other dependencies created. For example, ability to automatically reallocate a piece of work to a different individual or change its status once a certain date passes. We're sure it's on the list! Review Source Justin P. There is not much leadtime required to get setup and provides a "command and control" feel. Cons Lack of Xero integration, which I understand to be a Xero problem, not a Karbon problem. It is constantly updating to meet our needs and customer support is always available. This unique combination of features puts Karbon in its own app category really, as there are plenty of project and workflow management apps out there, but they don't include the email inbox as an integral aspect, as Karbon does. Cons Some missing features are sure to come in time, such as the ability to search on Tasks and not just Work items (projects), Emails and Contacts — and more extensive keyboard shortcuts will be nice, too. The Karbon team are releasing new features on a consistent basis. It's a process that we absolutely needed in order to move into the new year knowing that we could continue to grow and not be faced with missed deadlines and dropped projects. Cons I would like to see Karbon develop an app that I can use on my phone so that I could go through my triage on my phone when I'm sitting idle like I do when I go through my outlook...the good news is I have heard it's coming...I hope so!!! It's intuitive and things can be done on the fly so if you get an email that requires a new job you easily add the new work within about 10 seconds. For the firm needing to go to the next level in project management Karbon is a winner! Cons The triage feature takes a little getting used to and I feel like I am managing two inboxes now. Cons I would appreciate a little more flexibility when it comes to exports and imports. Although the Karbon team was supportive so far in helping us with these, I hope they will eventually be working on this, if not already, in order for us to be more independent regarding this. May 31, 2018 4.0 Pros Triage for emails can be allocated as a task to yourself or a colleague. Client tasks (however I haven't used it much yet. Templated projects (work items). Cons It doesn't integrate with alot of software like others do in this category. I would love to see it integrated with Pandadoc (proposal writing, digital signing software), xero (for CRM integration), be able to clock in and out inside Karbon for TSheets instead of just recording the duration currently.
