Casepeer is great for calendaring, getting documents signed and contacting clients via text. Pros My favorite thing about Casepeer was the litigation tab and the calendaring. Every county has different court rules and the Casepeer was always accurate with the deadlines and different protocols the different courts have. Cons The view of the calendar is not always clear especially when having a lot of events in one day, however when linked to outlook, they're much more clear. Review Source WD Wendy D. The more familiar I get with the program, the more efficient and organized I become. Pros The ability to stay organized and track what is done and still needs to be done on a case. Texting is a great feature as well and a huge timesaver.. Cons I do not like that some features are only available on CASEpeer advanced. I certainly still backup all of the firm calendaring and case tracking, but Casepeer provides me with confidence that all is in control. Pros I have used Case Management software from the time it first appeared for use in law firms. Casepeer is the best program in all of my 40 years of trial practice. Our rep, Jaclyn K., has been wonderful since Day One. Pros How everything is fairly easy. Just a great program! Cons Typing in 'foreign' client names. CP seems to have trouble with that. It does not recognize many names that are from foreign countries, and we have a great deal of clients who have different kinds of names. It gets old when you are typing in any part of the name, and nothing comes up, over and over again. The language names that it has the most trouble with are Spanish, Indian (India), and Asian. Cons The only issue I came across was when our previous database was transferred over; there a lot of double entries we had to clean up or cases that were on the previous database that were not transferred over. October 26, 2016 5.0 Excellent software from top to bottom. Since we started using Casepeer, it keeps getting better. I used to work in the settlement and disbursement areas. While the older versions felt a bit clunky, many of our suggestions have been implemented successfully. With the newest version, settling liens with healthcare providers and generating crucial documents have never been more effortless. I now primarily work with the accounting functions, which greatly helps me manage case costs, settlements, and trust accounts. At our firm, we are very diligent in noting and documenting just about everything that goes on with a case. Casepeer automatically documents every modification and change to a file which allows us to trace a case's history back to the beginning. The great search functionality and extensive data points within the software means we are be able to pick up a case where we left off and know exactly what's going on. Being able to task and direct notes to other colleagues also helps make sure priority items do not fall through the cracks. Overall, working with Casepeer is like having an additional teammate, optimizing our productivity and making case management much easier. Pros The software looks great, navigating the site is very intuitive. It also keeps track of all the important data points, which is vital to our firm as accuracy is key. The developers are also always open to suggestions and improvements, so the program is always evolving and getting better. Cons There are some useful features that are still in development, such as the ability to have more control over the trust account. Otherwise, the software works really well. I love that you can send documents for signature to the clients via e-signature. You are also able to create templates that can be emailed to not just clients, but adjusters as well. Cons I don't like that you can't send a client via the text portal a document or photo. I also wish that the cost tab was easier to use, I have had training, but I was still left with unanswered questions. Tabs for all the information needed and document tab access makes it easy to find related documents Cons I dislike the auto-save notes - I keep several tabs open which tells me I'm working on the file. I go back and the note is gone so it's easy to move on. Knowing who was called last, was their issue addressed, and if there is follow-up necessary. This has been a dream juggling a big caseload. Pros Adding clients, signing them up, and tracking records and bills, which is the most critical part of a PI practice has been honed with this software. The ease of which everything updates to the case is incredibly time sufficient. It is definitely one of the best case management software I've ever used. Cons Emails turn into notes in the software. I can find out whats going on with a case in seconds! Great Calendar system, set reminders and tasks and make life simple. Great for litigation deadlines. Customer service is excellent too, they address issues every time. Cons i can only think of one - when the tasks are assigned, there isnt a box to check off, you have to delete each task one by one. You update as you go, its the assistant you had been wanting but best part is everyone gets to use the same function and be on the same page. Cons Cons do come with every platform, I believe there can be better user ability with the open cases under the reports tab.
