\-LiveImpact is full featured with robust Payments, Donation, Events, Engagement, Program Tracking, Volunteer, Grant Tracking, Membership and Auction Modules. -Everything is integrated and you don't have to worry about compatibility, cost and upgrades associated with having additional apps. -The user interface is logical, flexible, customizable, well organized and easy to navigate. -The front end seemlessly integrates with the look of your website. -Standard reports come pre-installed and the built in reporting tools allows for custom reports and charting. -Email newsletters and automatic response email functionality is included. This means payment reminders, event reminders, registration information, etc. -Role based permissions access allows us to let volunteers enter information without having access to our private data. -Workflows can be setup via a pipeline to automate tasks. -You can also track program data and manage board member information and calendars. Overall, Live Impact has become our one stop shop and there isn't one area in which we feel we are settling for less than stellar functionality.

Flourishing Families of South Carolina now has a system that is as responsive and thoughtful as their programs. With LiveImpact, they have the tools to deepen relationships, expand services, and measure impact - all while reducing the operational friction that once held them back

Pros

LiveImpact went above and beyond during onboarding. They asked thoughtful questions, listened closely, and made changes even after we launched to make sure everything worked for us. Now we have one place to register families, send emails, track relationships, and run reports. The integrated communication tools and automatic tagging on forms make it easy to see which families have completed surveys or need follow-up. The reservations feature has also made it much easier to manage our educational programs. And we can now track cross-program participation, which helps us better support families over time.

Cons

At this time we are not aware of any cons with LiveImpact. From initial calll through full implementation our goals have been met.

We have complicated e-store needs so we are still in development for that. There are some limitations that aren't ideal for our organization. As tools are developed, certain functions don't work right away (i.e. saving filters, smartgrid, etc.) and need to be activated.

Pros

Our team found the tool easy to use so adoption was quick. It allows us to segment supporters much more effectively and the initial training and ongoing customer support is something we couldn't get with Salesforce.

Our use has been modest over the last few years but as we gear for an increase in use, we are looking forward to taking advantage of more of the features LiveImpact has to offer.

Pros

LiveImpact continues to provide great support, particularly with their regular release updates and tutorials. The ability to customize our screens to allow better tracking of data gives us great utility in managing contacts.

Cons

Searching for specific payment data has been challenging at times, but hopefully that will improve as we use the database more and learn how best to input the data for ease of retrieval.

My organization had specific needs as we were merging with another nonprofit. Before the merge, we used Abila and they used Raiser's Edge. We all wanted a new platform that would serve our combined needs, not charge us an arm and a leg with customizations or consulting costs, or the continuous purchase of new modules. LiveImpact met all these criteria, and once we saw the demo we were sold. Our bosses recognized the benefits of LiveImpact as well. I don't know of another software out there that offers such a comprehensive platform including a CRM with events, auctions, fundraisers, email campaigns and newsletters, payments, advanced reports and analytics, and moves management. LiveImpact also offers grant management, which was a big plus for us. Another advantage was the role-based access with different dashboards, so our CEO and Board Members can quickly get the information they want without being overwhelmed with unnecessary information. We had exceptionally strong support from the LiveImpact team. They helped facilitate our conversation through the merge, encouraging us to meet internally as a combined development team to identify our most common uses and prioritize our processes. They wanted to ensure that we are successful in using the platform, and went above and beyond in providing onboarding help and support. We ran our latest fundraiser through LiveImpact - online ticket purchases and donations were automatically entered in the database, and for those who gave us a check, we could easily enter the payments so all the information was in one place. Abila only had basic functionality to manage events, so using LiveImpact really saved us a lot of time and use of multiple spreadsheets. Since it was a concert, we assigned every single person a seat and a ticket using LiveImpact. We also used the check-in phone app as people arrived. We had some challenges as we were using the events functionality for the first time, but support was one phone call away to answer our questions. My colleagues and I are finding LiveImpact relatively easy to learn and use because the interface is intuitive. I use it 3-4 days a week to update contacts and check donations; and we are just beginning to use the moves management functionality. My recommendation to others would be to take the time to think about your most common uses and what you want the software to do for you. LiveImpact is easily customizable; you can do so much more in it than in other software.

Pros

Multi-use functionality for all constituent management and development/marketing related tasks.

Cons

LiveImpact is capable of doing so much, we sometimes feel that we have only scratched the surface. It really requires a concerted effort and time commitment (like any database) to get up and running in it's full capacity. Once we are able to make that commitment, I know we will reap the benefits.

### "A good experience"

Our nonprofit, based out of the Bay Area in California just switched from Salesforce.com to LiveImpact.org. I had a Board member who worked for Salesforce and was able to get us a grant for 10 free licenses. It was really exciting for us because Salesforce is so well known. After starting with the nonprofit starter pack in 2013, we were jazzed because of all the apps on their exchange. We chose to use mail chimp, cause view, and google apps for plug ins. My great development coordinator took on the project and had a tough time actually getting to use salesforce. They do have some great online resources including a user group but we weren't able to make the mail chimp and cause view plug ins work very well. We also had trouble with the household idea and pulling reports like lapsed donors that gave at certain levels. After realizing we would need professional help, ongoing, just to manage Salesforce, we decided to look elsewhere. A colleague of mine recommended LiveImpact. I saw the demo first and was impressed. My team also liked what they saw and we chose to move forward. LiveImpact is actually one software that includes everything. So instead of having plug ins or using other products, LiveImpact has everything in one place and it all works together. The folks at LiveImpact were extra amazing. They don't limit the # of records or log-ins which meant that our whole development team and Management Team could have access. We could even manage what type of access everyone got and that was a huge plus for us. For example, our Controller only logs in and is able to pull the financial reports. We now use LiveImpact for managing our donors, volunteers, and members as well as email communications and newsletter, donations online and a whole lot more. It's a really unique system. We struggled with Salesforce for years. LiveImpact has been really great in saving us time and allowing us to access and utilize our data in new and impactful ways.

Pros

Everything is integrated. We use their event tools, e-marketing, crm, grants, project management and moves management tools and we never leave there website.

Cons

I would like to have some sort of financial software built in. We do export a report that we bring to our accounting software but more clean integration would be nice.

### "A comprehensive, all-in-one solution"

LiveImpact helped us consolidate multiple solutions for donor management, communication, campaign microsite deployments, donation forms etc into one, easy to navigate platform. We are able to do real-time stewardship due to real-time data for donors. Easy reporting helps us make strategic decisions. We are still exploring the moves management feature but it is already a huge improvement on the legacy crm we had been using. The company is truly responsive and are constantly updating features to make them even more effective. We could not be happier.

Pros

We have all been surprised by the ease of use and what all is possible to do in real time. Productivity, otherwise lost in importing/exporting data, is a huge gain. We can track donor activities in real time since it is all in one place. We are able to setup and deploy fundraising pages/campaign pages/very elaborate event sites very easily and fast on our own. The biggest plus is the amazing customer support - always responding to emails right away. Our reporting and analysis, that otherwise used to take days to compile accurately, has become almost one-button. Ability to tag records quickly is another one of my favorite feature. Our supporters truly enjoy the user interface for our event registration and donation.

Cons

Nothing yet. I guess one would be that there are so many incredible features that I have not yet had time to explore and KNOW they will be another huge productivity boost.

LiveImpact is invested in helping nonprofits succeed. They want you to succeed with their solution. On occasion, responses from support staff may seem less than supportive but -- and this is a big one -- they RESPOND! I've rarely received responses from support teams with other software solutions in real time, and sometimes never. Your team will get the support you need with LiveImpact.

Pros

It’s affordable and accessible for large to small organizations. We needed to have a CRM sophisticated enough to allow us to manage a comprehensive development program including gift and grant management, nonticketed, ticketing and auction events, moves management, volunteers, donor segmentation, mass and individual donor communications, trends, appeal analysis and the list goes on - LiveImpact does it. If it doesn’t, it’s likely they will build it for you.

Cons

Although you don’t need to be an expert to use LiveImpact fairly effectively, you need an in-house pro to help you maximize the full functionality of the CRM. Because it is still gaining recognition as a viable resource for donor management, you’ll need a flexible database manager to embrace the new platform and you will need to invest time to get the right person/people trained. On a positive note: it will cost you less than any of the big competitors – Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, etc. This is an ongoing challenge for many nonprofits with any CRM. Would also like to see a more robust integration with Microsoft Outlook.

### "LiveImpact, way better than Alma Base and Blackbaud for my school"

In the span of the last 4 years, I've switched from Blackbaud, an archaic tool that was nice in the 90s but has such complex and outdated functionality for today's schools. My private elementary and middle school uses LiveImpact to manage all our alumni families, business partners, prospect donor families, and current families. One of the best features is the ability to manage relationships between students, parents, volunteers, and donors. Unfortunately we are seeing more and more divorced parents and thus many students belong to 2 families. It's very challenging to link families together in Alma Base and Blackbaud and frankly said, LiveImpact nails it! We also love how all of the donor/parent/business partner data goes directly into LiveImpact from the online giving forms, the event website, and auction site. It's been about 14 months since we switched, with absolutely no regrets. The only thing LiveImpact doesn't have is an integration with quickbooks. Though, our accountant is able to import data from LiveImpact using Microsoft's Excel 2010. We also found LiveImpact's free support to be extremely effective and beneficial for our school.

Pros

The relationship tools between parents, students, volunteers, and donors. We love the ability to manage parent and student volunteer hours and that we don't need any other softwares like mail chimp, first giving, alma base, blackbaud, and cvent since Liveimpact has their own set of tools.

Cons

I would love Quickbooks integration. The support team says they are heavily considering this :)

### "A Review of the Data Transfer Process"

Customizable database with integrated marketing tools. This software is so customizable, it would be difficult to find something negative. If we needed an extra field for specific data, or wanted to display data in a specific way, the team assured us that the software would allow all types of customization that we would be able to learn ourselves without needing a computer programmer to change the software.

Pros

I left my organization shortly before implementation so this is a review of the data transfer process. Because my time was limited, I worked closely and quickly with the LiveImpact team to prepare our data for export and import. Though the process itself was inherently difficult, the LiveImpact team was supportive, clear with their communication and follow up, kind and overall great to work with. They provided examples and feedback and offered resources to make sure that we understood LiveImpact and how our data would look once implemented. Their demos and explanations were extremely helpful in framing our conversations and the actual work of data clean up and export.

### "All the things we need under one umbrella."

LiveImpact was referred to us by a colleague, and we were impressed with the demo. The main attraction for us to move to LiveImpact was that all the functionalities we needed i.e. donor management, events, newsletters, email campaigns, and online fundraising were under one umbrella. Prior to LiveImpact, we were using Salesforce, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, and Excel spreadsheets. My staff was spending significant time exporting and importing data, and maintaining data accuracy. Using multiple tools, especially during our annual gala event was very time consuming. We signed up with LiveImpact and had to jump right into our annual gala event. LiveImpact was extremely responsive to our needs and we were very happy with their support. Instead of the traditional onboarding, they customized it to our needs, and helped us streamline our entire event to be a success. Earlier we did ticket sales in Eventbrite, then exported the data and the admin did the seating chart, and after the event was over we extracted the donor data to Salesforce. We used LiveImpact for registration, ticketing, seating charts, email acknowledgements, payments, check-ins and all our donor information was updated automatically in the central database. LiveImpact has taken the headache out of doing an event for us. LiveImpact also offers features that are complex to use in other platforms. For example, merging contacts simultaneously is very easy to do in LiveImpact as it is visually laid out compared to Salesforce. LiveImpact's donor database is very similar to Salesforce in terms of capacity and functionality, but its interface is more user friendly for non-tech savvy individuals. Salesforce is complex and becomes hard to navigate. Also, Salesforce terminology is not geared towards nonprofits. Salesforce uses words such as account, opportunity, a donor is a contact, therefore one has to constantly do some interpretation. LiveImpact uses familiar nonprofit language and goes a step further as we could define the 'names' for our contacts. We customized the system based on how we refer to our contacts, our processes and how we work. Having one platform makes everything easier for us, including training our staff on one software. Its more efficient and cost effective. With LiveImpact the support we get has been amazing and very helpful. They are very attentive and very flexible with our needs.

Pros

Everything you need under one umbrella. Ease of use and the great responsive support!

Cons

Crowdfunding boiler content could be duplicated automatically for individual pages.

LiveImpact has saved me time and money with data management, templates for emails and forms, and event organization. Everything I need is under one umbrella.

Pros

I like having the ability to review financial records, volunteer/participant records, and email logs. I appreciate that LiveImpact provides simple, customizable forms and autoresponder emails. And I absolutely love the Event module, which helps organize and execute successful programs/events. LiveImpact services help manage data in an easy, efficient way. Everything I need to know about my nonprofit can be gathered with one simple click. No longer do I have to find various companies and services to meet my nonprofit's needs. LiveImpact is saving me time and money by placing all organizational needs in one complete package.

Cons

I am still familiarizing myself with all the technology solutions offered via LiveImpact. There isn't anything I dislike. But I would love to have the ability to send SMS text messages.

Throughout the entire experience of setting up our system, the customer service at Live Impact has been an incredibly positive experience. They were responsive, they listened intently to our needs, and they were very solutions focused. The training and the user manual made it easy to onboard our team. Once we started using the system, it was easy for users of all technology comfort levels to understand and start using. We use the system to record relationships with six different stakeholder groups, to track program attendance, to track activities (interactions) with our stakeholders, and to report. We have also started using the forms feature instead of using Qualtrics to store our information in one place. We don't use the system for mailing or donor tracking. It meets all of our needs so far and has been a great decision for our organization.

Pros

Integrating Live Impact into our current processes was easy. The ability to track program attendance via forms, the ability to store notes in the Connect feature, and the activity tracking have all become essential in our operations. I loved that we can set up our own record fields for different roles in our organization (students, parents, faculty members, community partners) and that it is easy to update them as often as we need. Live Impact is easy to customize and easy for our end users.

Cons

I've had issues with some of the reporting, but the support team has been responsive to help resolve discrepancies.

Overall we've had a good experience with LiveImpact and appreciate the open communication with the LiveImpact team and their willingness to work with us throughout the process.

Pros

We really like LiveImpact’s user-friendly interface (the smart grid!) and efficiencies built into the system that allow us to update and manage data easily. The system is really intuitive and makes it very easy to sort and search our contacts/donors and we love the multi-edit feature. It is also great for capturing our impact data and managing our marketing and fundraising efforts and efficacy!

Cons

We're still navigating the reporting feature. We love all the canned reports which generally have what we need but have not yet totally mastered the custom reports.

We are a small non profit, with a modest growth, and a prospect to scale. We were in the market scouting for a CRM that does not overwhelm us with features that we may not need. Our need was simple, and LiveImpact fit the bill. We wanted to consolidate the disparate data from Constant Contact and Quickbooks. LiveImpact enabled us to clean up the duplicate data, and to manage the updated current data in one place. The tools and functionalities built to add all the requisite information of not only the existing and prospective donor list, but also volunteers, non profit partners and committee members. We look forward to using the tools for generating reports and targeted list through LI, to send newsletters, launch campaign to inform and engage the donor community. And also take advantage of the tools to plan fundraising and guest seating as part of event planning. -LiveImpact Team was very professional, extremely helpful and accommodative during and after the onboarding process.

Cons

It would be a lot easier if there is a way to import the data, a seamless integration, from Quickbooks to LiveImpact.

Pros

LiveImpact is extremely user friendly and well organized. It makes it really easy for a team to use.

Cons

There are so many options that it can be slightly overwhelming if you are not used to databases. It is user friendly, but since there are a couple ways to do some of the tasks, sometimes it can be difficult to decide which is the best method. However, the training sessions are very helpful and the LiveImpact support team really helped us transition into using the software.

Pros

I enjoy the match feature to take our donors company matching. Also how it integrates with Braintree for easy tracking. And the newsletters/outreach!

Cons

Minor shortcuts are difficult to find and was not covered comprehensively in onboarding training. Staff were great classifying however.
