Our team members understood the objectives of transparency and information sharing and Koan wrapped itself neatly around these two objectives. Cons When we last tried to past images into Koan, it wouldnt let us do so. Not a big deal but would be great to have this functionality for pasting gant charts and screen shots from other sources. Especially when we can go back a few weeks and see where we were compared to how we are now. I also really enjoyed rating the OKR's as we are able to see if there is some disconnect with team members based on the rating. Pros Being able to see the tasks my teammates accomplish, how they ladder up to an OKR. I also really liked the weekly reflection as it allows you to see how your team is doing to achieve a common goal. Cons Being limited to your team, only seeing those OKR's and not every on the teams reflection (although im sure that can be changed). Review Source SH Saul H. With that transparency, we know where each OKR is on progress and if there are problems, we know where we need to fix or address. Cons At first, it felt like Koan was a little too much like a task list. The way our team has focused on giving feedback and insights instead of just listing what was done or what is on the radar coming up has lead to conversations on how to move our company forward. Pros You can share with your team commun goals, you can track the activities and select the status of the goal (at risk, has issues, on track). You can select a deadline to each goal and all the individual activities are very visible Cons its not so practical and intuitive, there's a lot of functions and its not very organized. Weekly reflections create additional awareness. Cross-departmental transparency can be achieved easily. Cons Currently, it is not possible to clone an existing objective and key result to than adjust details, which is slightly annoying. Easy to use and understand the product, great price. We ended up moving our whole start-up to Koan, to create and track company, team and individual OKRs.
