Pros My favorite thing about TurboCash is how much storage and speed it offers. I have never been able to keep track of financial data this effortlessly before. It is easy to use, and I still have to learn. Keeping track of currency changes is a feature I particularly enjoy. While other software is available, this is by far the best. Pros it is user friendly and any new user will find it very easy to follow and use. its flexibility helps in dealing with new laws that may cause difficulties in accounting. for example the Zimbabwean situation in the past 10 years where currency in use has been varying (at some point it was Dollarised). Turbo cash has features that will enable users to switch easily into these multi currency situations and helps in production of financial reports that would REFLECT clearly these changes. everything. Cons in as much as i highly recommend it, it has not made an impact in Zimbabwe and is rarely used by companies which i will attribute to poor strategic marketing. i believe if it was regularly used in Zimbabwe it would go miles in competition with popular packages like Pastel. Pros TurboCash is an open source software that can be used by accounting students at universities. I used Turbocash when i did my degree at University of Zimbabwe and it helped me lot as it enabled me to understand the practical accounting system. That was my first time to prepare financial statement for a moc company that was created by our lecturer. I could understand the accounting system from the simple daily transactions to finally preparation of the statement of financial position. It is one of our proudest achievements that we were able to hold it together through the Zimbabwe hyperinflation, still, provide the software free and handle those really big numbers. It proved the scalability of TurboCASH. It is ironic that we dev4eloped TUrboCHAS in South Africa, but the majority of the TrgbroCHAS users are in the Northern Hemisphere. Moses G.
