### "Didactic and easy to use"

May 26, 2022

5.0

Pros

It is a very well built software, which allows you to easily create content for any level of learning and present it in an easy and didactic way, which can be understood by any user, without the need for prior knowledge. In addition, the software allows you to create content from the beginning, making the learning curve short.

Cons

Integration with other products can be a bit tricky, but it's a minor detail that can be quickly and easily overcome. In addition, the software requires a good internet quality for proper operation.

### "Making not so fun material FUN! "

November 25, 2025

5.0

It has been great! I love being able to customize the questions based on what we want to focus on, which in our industry is always changing. I personally believe that when reviewing things in a fun way like with Kahoot! it helps make the subject matter stick better.

Pros

I love how Kahoot! makes learning fun, especially when the subject material is not very fun. We deal a lot with mandated policies and this is a fun way for the team to review.

Cons

Honestly nothing the experience with it has been easy and fun. I am able to easily create the tests and correct answers with no issues.

### "Gamified Review of Content"

June 17, 2025

3.0

The kiddos enjoy learning and studying for tests using Kahoot. I really like that it helps students get excited about learning.

Pros

Gamified studying for student that helps keep attention for longer periods of time than normal content review.

Cons

Kahoot has a character limit for question and answer choices that limits asking questions that are too long or at a higher order of thinking.

### "Kahoot in the Workplace"

December 18, 2025

5.0

Kahoot has been great for friendly competition at work, and I love the idea of how customizable it is. We use it for company parties or just events where we're gathering. We tend to give out prizes to staff members that have the highest score at the end.

Pros

Kahoot is such a staple at our organization! It's not even funny how many times we use it for all staff events. We tend to use it for the accessibility when it we have a number of staff present.

Cons

I think the only downside and worry to Kahoot is that you cannot filter out inappropriate names if possible. I say this only because we use it at a work function, and it would be nice to remove certain names or have a warning for them.

Overall, I highly recommend Kahoot! It’s great for reviewing, studying, and instant feedback. As a teacher, it is a vital tool that I will always keep in my pocket.

Pros

I love the ability to create my own custom quizzes for my students. I can even add images to the quizzes. There’s also a pre-made data bank of quizzes made by others that you can save and use!

Cons

Some feature are only available with the top premium subscription. I wish they were available for all.

### "Fun and Engaging, but Limited Without Payment"

February 2, 2026

Overall, my experience with Kahoot! has been good. It is easy to use, entertaining, and effective for quizzes, even though the pricing can be a drawback.

Pros

Kahoot! is very fun, interactive, and dynamic. It makes learning more engaging and competitive, keeps everyone involved, and works well for both classrooms and group activities.

Cons

The free version feels quite limited and not very useful. Many good features are locked behind a paywall, so you often have to upgrade to fully enjoy the platform.

Pros

I love how I can get students to engage and have fun while learning with Kahoot! It makes any subject intriguing and helps students stay focused and on task.

Cons

Kahoot is a very well put together service. I think the only thing that I can say is that sometimes it may not accept all students and I would have to retry the process again in order for all my students to get in.

### "Transforming the Class into a Magical Place"

April 12, 2025

5.0

I have used it in my EFL classes. Sometimes it was toochallenging for the young learners to follow the shapes on their devices instead of the written answers. There coule be some adaptive options for young learners.

Pros

It quickly transforms the learning environment into a joyful place. Learners do not understand that the learning occurs through the game within Kahoot.

Cons

There are ready-made kahoot activities organized by some people but you can not adapt them into your own classes bu tweaking some parts of them based on your learners’ needs. It should have been the tailored activities in line with your needs. This would be more facilitating for teachers and mitigate their workload.

### "Students Love Kahoot!"

March 7, 2022

5.0

Students absolutely love Kahoot! Above any other study games or activities I would come up with, students loved Kahoot the most. I never really understood it because it just seems like a timed quiz to me, but hey, if it works it works!

Pros

Kahoot is very easy to setup, save, and modify preexisting ones. I personally never used other peoples kahoots but I did reuse my own kahoots over the couple year period I was teaching. This made it very easy to on-the-fly come up with a great study or knowledge-check activity.

Cons

Everyone seems to love the music but I find it quite annoying. I also wish there was a "force user sign in" option where students could just sign in with their school information including their name instead of either allowing them to come up with their own "names" which often lead to inappropriate names, or forcing them to use the random name generator which causes many arguments and students wanting to keep randomizing it until they got something they liked. It wouldn't need to include their full name, just a prompt for first name and last initial.

### "Richard Lubiano on Kahoot!"

May 11, 2023

5.0

Benefits that i realized it helps me, understood my desire topics or subject . Overall experience i have a great time and I enjoyed the app.

Pros

There are many quizzes/tests you can try either for fun or educational. There are also great features you can use when making your own quiz/test. Kahoot is a user friendly app/website that anyone can access due to its availability worldwide.

Cons

What I like least was there unfair features for free accounts. Free personal accounts should still get the fair level of attention in updates. Kahoot also should put more features in test/quiz making for it to be more useful for the quiz takers.

### "Kahoot is not just for school age students!"

May 15, 2023

5.0

I have used Kahoot both for in person and online learning and no matter how many times a week I do a Kahoot, students always beg for more! I like that the students are engaged and I can see how well each student is doing instantly without grading anything!

Pros

Kahoot is easy to use and very engaging for both adults and children. Kahoot can be used to measure how much of information presented a group has learned or as a fun brain break. There are even game modes which increase the engagement for kids. Kahoot can be used both with in person and online participants. Last, a Kahoot can be presented as homework which allows the participant to move at their own pace. The reports are very helpful as well. On many plans folders can be made to organize created or copied Kahoots so that they are easily accessible in the future. While the free version does not offer all of the features of Kahoot, if you are on a tight budget and have a small group (under 40), the free version is good enough, especially at the beginning.

Cons

There is really nothing I do not like about Kahoot, other than the monthly cost. I would like the game modes to be free, but don't we all want something free? Adults who have never tried it will like the competitiveness and doing something different other than taking a quiz at the end of a workshop.

### "A new trend of quizzes with Kahoot!"

November 15, 2019

5.0

Kahoot is a platform developed to create online quizzes and assignments. We can make a list of questions using Kahoot and then create a game. In this game questions are given as multiple choice questions which has four choices for each question and we have to include that four answers when we creating the game. After creating the game Kahoot provide a pin code. Players can join to the game using that pin code. Players can give their answers using a smartphone or computer when the server is hosting the game. Result sheet can be obtained after finishing the game. This platform is widely used in our university to hold online quizzes on lecture times. I really like this because of the simplicity of the game and holding these types of quizzes saves our time lot. I recommend using this in small events because this can be a fantastic experience.

Pros

Kahoot included many features to attract people to their platform. It has attractive user interface on their website. This makes our work easier either we creating a game or playing a game. Kahoot made our quizzes and assignments more joyful to do when compared with traditional way of writing quizzes and assignments. This saves our time lot. Since the results of the game generated automatically after finishing the game, this helps lecturers as well. No time waste for correcting and marking answer sheets. Another good feature I saw is that the correct answer of each question will be shown after answering the question. Other than the correct answer, detailed information about the answers given from the community is shown with relevant number of choices for each answer with a bar graph. After the game we can see the top three players who scored most. Other rankings can be found through the result sheet. These features are really fascinating.

Cons

I have found some issues when using this platform. We need good internet connection to use Kahoot. I am disconnected few times when using this. But this is not a fault of Kahoot. Questionnaire must be re-started if the sever faced any connection problem. Only the symbols related to the answers will be shown on players’ display. Sometimes this can be messing watching relevant symbol again and again before confirming answer. Only multiple choice questions can be included into the question list. I think it will be more useful if they include more answering formats such as text answers. Sometimes one person that needs to play the game may not have any device to play. However these types of issues are very rare on these days since everyone have their own smartphone with good internet connection.

### "Kahoot is Crucial for Teaching"

August 26, 2021

5.0

Kahoot addresses the need for a gamified classroom because it holds student's attention and excites the students. Even the more shy or unsure students are willing to try if generic user names are used. Students remember the material well after "competing" on Kahoot.

Pros

This software is incredibly engaging and students love the gamified content. The students loved competing, reviewing, learning new material and "showing their stuff" through Kahoot's quizzes, games, tests and reviews. With ELLs, pictures are easily added to support the question, and the flexibility allows for multiple testing formats.

Cons

The software itself is great, and it may be a paid feature, but videos would allow my ASL users to view signed videos and then respond accordingly, as opposed to solely text-based questions. A drag and drop feature would help production of the Kahoot quizzes faster, but downloading an image then uploading it isn't difficult. The limited library or items Kahoot provides allows some quick uploads, but needs expanding.

### "After years of asking, Kahoot still doesn't "talk" to google classroom"

December 23, 2021

3.0

Kahoot is a great way to build and even ensure engagement. Kahoot games are quite plainly a lot of fun both for hosts and players. Its a great way to gamify training or a classroom. So I still love Kahoot and I use it often but I could love it more if there were a way to align it with google classroom and if there was an efficient way to track performance.

Pros

I still love Kahoot despite missing features that would make me love it more. Kahoot is so easy to use and a great way to build engagement. There are so many games to choose from and if somethings not quite right, games can be very easily edited or even created. Games are so fun to play and even fun to host. Kahoot makes gamification easy for fun, interactive learning for all ages.

Cons

What kahoot is missing, which keeps me from loving it even more, is a way to track performance via google classroom or other educational management systems. Kahoot can be launched with google classroom, but then the data from the games isn't sent back to google classroom. So classroom talks to Kahoot, but for whatever reason Kahoot doesn't talk back to google. I reached out to Kahoot many times about this and I get the same answer that this is not a feature they are interested in providing. What a shame. What also happens often is players use hurtful and offensive and inappropriate nicknames. This is quite common in schools but can also happen in the workplace. As far as I know, there is no way to track this. Kahoot offers a friendly nickname generator to avoid this, but then there is no way to track performance. So essentially Kahoot which could be so powerful in assessment and training, is simply reduced to a really fun game or just basic enreichment. Again...What a shame.

### "Game Changer "

June 25, 2022

5.0

Kahoot help solve blue student engagement. After using kahoots I have noticed student engagement can increase. My overall experience has been positive and I would recommend the platform without hesitation.

Pros

Kahoot is easy to use. Integrating with my existing products is also light work. I like how teachers and students can implement Kahoot with little to know problems.

Cons

Kahoot is easy to use. That is one of the best things about this platform. I understand that kahoot has diminishing returns like all things. Used strategically kahoot can increase student engagement. If you overuse, student burnout is possible.

Reason for choosing Kahoot!

I selected kahoot because of the ease of implementation and the price point, it's free.

### "Kahoot Review "

September 23, 2022

5.0

I am in a teaching profession and I also work in the HR department, Kahoot has proved to be really helpful to me as it enables me to perform multiple tasks and makes it easier for me to complete my day to day work in less time . I am a very satisfied user.

Pros

I am an educator and as such I realize the importance of Gamification and interactive learning. Kahoot is exactly that platform, it provides you every necessary feature you can think of, right from making interesting quizzes that helps you and others to learn together and exchange your knowledge in a fun way, to polls that help you collect statistical data and conduct surveys.

Cons

When multiple players are connected to the same platform, the wifi connection must be strong or else it would not work.

### "Awesome interactive web based learning platform"

December 29, 2022

5.0

Kahoot allows teachers to easily assess student understanding and progress. The platform provides real-time feedback and analytics on student performance, which can help teachers identify areas of weakness and tailor their instruction accordingly.Kahoot can be used in a variety of settings, including in-person and virtual classrooms. The platform has features specifically designed for online learning, such as the ability to host virtual review sessions and share quizzes and polls through a variety of platforms.Kahoot is an affordable and user-friendly tool that is accessible to a wide range of users.

Pros

As a student, I have really enjoyed using Kahoot in my classes. It's such a fun and interactive way to review and learn new material. The games make the learning process so much more enjoyable and I find myself paying more attention in class because of it. The platform is also really easy to use and I love being able to see how I stack up against my classmates. One of the things I love about Kahoot is the ease of use. It only takes a few minutes to create a quiz or poll and the platform has a variety of question types to choose from, including multiple-choice, true/false, and open-ended responses. it is really good to use for presentations as well to get a poll or valuable input from the audience. Overall, Kahoot has been a great addition to my school experience and I highly recommend it to other students.Overall, I highly recommend Kahoot for any teacher looking to add some excitement to their lessons and make learning more interactive

Cons

While I generally enjoy using Kahoot in class, I find that the games can sometimes be a bit repetitive. It would be nice to have more variety in the types of games available. One issue I've had with Kahoot is that the timer for answering questions can be a bit too short, especially for more complex or open-ended questions. It would be helpful to have the option to adjust the timer length. While I appreciate the ability to compete against my classmates, I do wish there was a way to customize the leaderboard display. It can be a bit intimidating to see your name at the bottom of the list, and it would be nice to have the option to see how you're doing relative to your own personal best or to your study group. One feature that I think would be really helpful is the ability to save and reuse quizzes or polls. Currently, if I want to use a quiz again in the future, I have to recreate it from scratch. It would save a lot of time and effort if there was a way to save and reuse quizzes.
