Pros its easy to use and keep track of everything Cons Don't like the fact that the employees can change there availability at any given time. You can create schedules for each employee by hours or by days and can observe the whole schedule by a selected week. Apart from schedules one can create also timeoffs, which is also very easy to handle. Both schedules and timeoffs can be printed. Cons I just didn’t like that one can’t see the schedule of the whole month at once, one can see the schedule of the month only by choosing its respective weeks one by one. Review Source MM Mallary M. Although I am not the administrator for the business I would and will recommend this to anyone that is looking for an easy scheduling app to use. Pros I can make the schedule on PC and it updates real time to staffs phones. Very simple initial setup and while pretty basic, it does everything I need it to do. Staff loves the request time off abilities from the app. Cons When I log back in on the PC version, sometimes it doesnt hold how I like to view the employee list by position and it defaults to alphabetical or some other sort. I find it easy to use, practical and easy to change schedules when needed to. Pros I like is very easy to use, very informative, and flexible to do changes in the schedule. I think Flexibility is key for this type of apps. Cons Really I cannot think in what I like the list. Is very functional and practical. Serves the purpose for what it was created. As an Event Medical company our shifts are all as-hoc and in multiple locations and for varying grades of staff. All of this is covered in Opensimsim right from the start. Pros The ability allow staff to apply for available shifts, and that you’re not tied to set shift patterns Cons Entering multiple shifts can be laborious as you can only copy shifts within the same week at the moment Review Source TR Tania R. Our staff is happy to have access to their schedules in the palm of their hands. As managers we have had great success with it as a communication tool .The ability to give the staff a way to give up or exchange shifts worry free is a great feature. The App keeps track of who is switching or not available for various reasons .As managers we have the power to approve or deny schedule changes that help keep us on budget.Can't think of a reason to ever go back to how we did schedules before. The simplicity of the program and ability to dial it into our specific needs has been a tremendous help in organizing and simplifying our scheduling, which has always been a nightmare. They make it easy to work with and are always willing to help whenever we need it which makes this system and the Sim Sim team a great asset to our business.
